Optimizing business operation to their full potential with Smartsheet!
What do you like best about the product?
-The ability to instantly share and update sheets while all members of the organization have real-time access to your work.
-The ability to interconnect multiple sheets with formulas to have accurate reports and data.

What do you dislike about the product?
-When too much data is inserted in a sheet, there comes a lack of optimization that heavily lags the browser, which makes work hard to undergo.
-Sometimes sheets interconnected with formulas bugging out; as a viewer it is hard to repair certain columns before an admin hops in and helps.

Long time Smartsheet User and Internal Company Advocate
What do you like best about the product?
Over the years, I've brought Smartsheet to several organizations I've worked with. It stands out as an internal collaboration tool, but it's also excellent for external sharing with partners, vendors, or suppliers.
As a seasoned product management leader, I find Smartsheet to be an invaluable asset. It offers a suite of versatile tools, from spreadsheets and project plans to Gantt charts and forms. They've continually improved over time, introducing a broad library of templates that expedite the process of getting started or spark inspiration for crafting unique solutions.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not much that I dislike about it. Again, being a long time customer, they have done a really nice job listening to customer requests and adding new features/functions. The area that I find the weakest has been initial configuration of Smartsheet for an organization. I think that area can still use additional enhancements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our primary gain from Smartsheet is the enhancement of team communication and collaboration. The tool facilitates real-time project updates by allowing us to invite both internal and external members to view ongoing projects. It provides stakeholders with a firsthand view of the project's progress, eliminating the need for circulating worksheets or project plans via email. It's a significant time-saver and improves transparency across the board.
Many great functions
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is an incredible tool for tracking and project management. My favourite feature is the ability to set automated reminders straight to my email. This is very useful because it means I can set and forget.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I would like to see most from Smartsheet is the ability to add a new tab/page to my existing sheets. This would make tracking things a lot easier e.g. once a task has been completed, and I could move it to a different tab, so that I can still see what I've done without having to create a new sheet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving the problem of having to manually track dates. If I didn't have smartsheets, I would have to export excel sheets and create filters to check dates each month. WIth smartsheets, I can have an automated reminder once a date is triggered.
One sheet to organize them all
What do you like best about the product?
Using smartsheet and its automation features the PMs (project mananagers) are more collaborative, and we have streamlined the process of updating data and have streamline many of the processes to save time. Each PM can have ther own project sheet and those project sheets feed into the Master sheet with dashboard for updating higher level managers.

What do you dislike about the product?
Although smartsheet is a very powerful sharing tool. The issues are really around sorting information. If you are not the owner of the sheet and just a user the sorting is not as easy as it should me. It is limited at best. It almost forces you to have to get a lincense but you are not developing a sheet. Easier for some on the team to use Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smart sheets solves the use of multiple people using the dame project sheet for manufacturing and Production control. This allows multiple team members arcoss the factory to use the same sheet and have the latest updates on information and priorities including status of projects with ship dates.

What do you like best about the product?
the automation features make processes seamless. I use the the feature to send emails on my behalf and capture approvals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we were able to work on the same sheet at the same time like Google products allow for.

What do you like best about the product?
The adaptability of Smartsheet is impressive. It molds itself to fit our project management needs, and the templates save significant time. It’s also beneficial how it integrates with our existing software systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
As much as I appreciate Smartsheet, the reporting capabilities could be more robust. A broader set of report customization options would enhance its utility for us.

With Smartsheet, all our project details are in one place. This means fewer mistakes and better decisions, which helps our projects go well. We really like to use this tool whiche working on various projects.

What do you like best about the product?
Once you get used to it, you know your stuff around it, smartsheet made it easy for me to track my project deadline and daily updates on the feature. I no longer have to work with advanced excel sheet, since smartsheet is way easier than that. The name's smart.
What do you dislike about the product?
I used it for 4-5 months and the only thing that bothered me is that I get lost in my own data sometimes, I don't know if its only me or it's the problem with the smartsheet, but I find everything I need eventually. Bur since I switched company I am no longer using it.

It has work workflow management which saves my time tracking all the work done by my teams, I am managing 2 teams so yes I have to track their progress on a daily basis and that's where smartsheet helped me.

It's very easy to use. All online and changes are directly visible for other users.
Attaching documents or mails to a row or a shtee is a very valuable function. Allows you to track processes.
Also usable via app on mobile.

Formatting cells/rows is limited. Excel can do much more on this level.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work international and as Smartsheet is online and you only need a browser makes it easy to get access, even on a mobile.
It's a nice combinvation between Excel and MS Project. We can do manage complex projects in Smartsheet, much easier than within project.

Smartsheet has been fantastic, I would highly recommend it.

Smartsheet is such a helpful tool. Coming from Excel, the amount of features and automation is absolutely fascinating. This tool is very helpful in a business and personal environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet is fantastic in many ways, the only thing that isn't fantastic is the lack of some small features, which may not be needed by every user. However, these are easily fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to use this software for our consultancy agency to digitalise data, and easily produce this data to releveant stakeholders. It has been fantastic in visualisation and organisation.
Steep learning curve, but so useful once you know how to use it!
What do you like best about the product?
We largely use Smartsheet to help track and manage our recruiting and hiring, as well as new employee onboarding. I love the automated workflows to help keep me on track and send me reminders about next steps in our hiring process. This was especially helpful for me as a new HR employee to stay organized while learning the employee lifecycle.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet has a very steep learning curve for first-time users. The person who was largely responsible for setting up our dashboards, workflows, and forms on Smartsheet is no longer with the company, so for a long time we didn't have anyone that really knew how to create, edit, or troubleshoot anything in Smartsheet. We have since had a meeting with a Smartsheet representative who helped point us in the right direction, but I think having a dedicated account representative that frequently checks in/makes themselves known would have saved a lot of frustration. I am starting to feel comfortable using basic tasks and features, but would like more advanced training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In terms of the HR department, Smartsheet keeeps everything in one centralized place. We can more easily track recruiting, hiring, and employee onboarding. Since the entire HR team has access to these dashboards and workflows, we are all on the same page about when a new hire is starting, what documents they still need, what technology needs to be set up, etc. I also use Smartsheet to help manage payroll, such as expense reimbursements and on-call bonus payments. Again, it is very helpful for keeping all of these payroll items in a centralized area for easy tracking and reporting.
