Smartsheet Review based on my day-to-day work experience
What do you like best about the product?
Filters are working good, I also like to option to use a form that adds rows based on the info provided in the form
What do you dislike about the product?
I am using Smartsheet, by editing the information of sheets of which I am not the owner. I have the option for the example the color of a specific row. But, honestly, I am missing the option for conditional color formatting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheet to keep track of my active cases, and it helps me stay organized in my day-to-day work.
Intuitive Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
I like how intuitive it is and how it is live with updates. Alerts are live and dashboards and reports can be live which is really useful for work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hmmm... it's not perfect and it can be linear at times. It's not open to many changes and several features cannot be used at the same time or it is lacking features that could make it more intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving small bugs that make work easier! I appreciate that.
Fast, Live Online Sheets Access That Makes Collaboration Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I like how you're able to access all your sheets online and not have it saved directly in your computer. It also updates it live so that it's not taking it a long time to load with other members in the same sheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how you can't edit and paste pictures on top of the sheets but it has to be directly in the cells.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It streamlines our process by having different sheets all tied together with preset workflows.
User-Friendly Tool That Streamlines Projects Effortlessly
What do you like best about the product?
Its user functionality stands out. I find it more user-friendly than most other software, and it has been an instrumental tool in streamlining many of my projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think some of its functions really require lots of IT knowledge.

Its streamlined many projects we gave previously had to do manually.
Efficient for Inventory Tracking, Mobile UX Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Smartsheet helps me stay organized and keeps my inventory updated. I appreciate how it provides accurate and up-to-date counts and field positioning. It's also helpful because it helps me remember, so I don't have to.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile pages or features don't always slide properly or move smoothly through columns and rows. A simpler and more fluid interface would help.

I use Smartsheet to track inventory and customer accounts, providing accurate and up-to-date counts and field positioning, helping me stay organized and keep my inventory updated so I don't have to remember everything.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Smartsheet is how flexible it is without being overly technical. It makes it easy to manage projects, track workflows, and collaborate across teams in one place. I also like that it can adapt to different use cases, whether it’s project management, reporting, event planning, or process tracking. The automation features save a lot of manual work, and the dashboards make it simple to keep stakeholders updated in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Smartsheet is that some advanced features can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially for new users. There’s definitely a learning curve when it comes to setting up more complex automations or formulas. I also think the reporting and dashboard customization could be more intuitive in certain areas, and performance can occasionally slow down when working with very large sheets.

Smartsheet helps solve the challenge of keeping projects, tasks, and communication organized across multiple teams and stakeholders. Instead of relying on scattered spreadsheets, emails, and manual follow-ups, everything is centralized in one platform. It’s been especially helpful for improving visibility into project progress, tracking deadlines, and automating repetitive processes. That saves time, reduces missed tasks, and makes collaboration much smoother across teams.

The complications or upsells needed to be able to connect to other platforms like excel.

Management of case based work across a large team & other operational users.
Perfect for Complex Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like that we can create dashboards and pull multiple reports across all 10 workstreams. The dashboards help us look at our overall progress at a glance. We can share the dashboard with the team while I'm in the individual project sheets. The dashboard highlights at-risk items and upcoming project milestones and public meetings. We can customize to add whatever we want.
What do you dislike about the product?
Linking cells across different sheets or in the same sheets, like items that are dependent on each other, is a bit troublesome. Updating in one sheet doesn't automatically update another. There was a learning curve due to different team members having different permissions, which made it a bit difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps track progress for tasks, prevents items from falling through the cracks, keeps us on schedule, and allows dashboard customization to highlight milestones, risks, and more.
Valuable Feature Updates and Continuous Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the feature updates, as well as the ability to receive ongoing updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface isn’t the most user-friendly, and it can feel a bit unintuitive to navigate at times.

Task briefing - UTM link generation and project management.
Great for Organising Multiple Projects and Seeing Team Workloads
What do you like best about the product?
It’s really helpful for organising and multitasking when you’re responsible for many projects, and it also gives you visibility into your colleagues’ workloads.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it could be maybe a little less busy - I like the new updates about linksharing though
