Great tool to manage a wide range of business related items
What do you like best about the product?
Once you have a handle on how it works, it becomes simple to achieve the goal you are trying to reach. The consultants at Smartsheet are always available to meet and discuss issues I am having in the moment.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment Smartsheet does not support the input of time very well. I had to develope alternatives to achieve this in my projects.

What do you like best about the product?
I highly recommend Smartsheet as a project management software because of its time-saving features. By using predefined templates, automatic task assignment and notifications, users can easily keep track of any process or activity. In addition, its interface is both straightforward for basic use cases and packed with extra configuration options that advanced users will find indispensable. I also love the ability to collaborate with other members in real time on complex projects; an invaluable advantage over many manual methods available today.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have found that Smartsheet can be difficult to understand, especially for new users, due to out-of-context features and unfamiliar terminology. In addition, many of the more advanced features of the system require a separate membership subscription to access, which is both inconvenient and costly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps me save time and stay organised by providing a central platform for all my project planning tasks. From tracking deadlines to assigning tasks, it streamlines communication between teams so nothing falls through the cracks.

What do you like best about the product?
Project management becomes notably efficient with Smartsheet due to its various features. Visualizing project advancement using Gantt charts and card views is incredibly convenient. The software's straightforward, user-oriented interface boosts the overall usability.

Smartsheet's reporting aspect could do with some improvements. Its present state may not be sufficiently flexible or detailed to satisfy all users. Additionally, the cost of the software may hinder adoption by smaller businesses or startups.

Smartsheet solves project management challenges by delivering instant task updates. This improves team collaboration and promotes timely task completion. The software's tools for teamwork enhance communication and foster synergy.
Lifesaver for keeping everything organized and on track
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Smartsheet is making awesome reports that pull in data from lots of sheets. This lets me see how many projects are doing at the same time. It also has cool sharing features so everyone on the team knows what's up and we can talk to each other easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet's customization features, while powerful, can sometimes be counterintuitive. I find that setting up sheets and dashboards to reflect specific data sets requires a fair amount of tinkering.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet changes the game in working with data. The sheets let me play around with data easily so I can figure stuff out and make smart choices. And connecting it with tools that make cool charts and stuff makes it easier for my team to understand the data and talk about it.

The collaborative features of Smartsheet are remarkable. It promotes effortless team collaboration and communication, thereby enhancing effectiveness and output. Its ability to sync with other widely used applications increases its versatility.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet can be slightly overwhelming for new users due to its extensive features. A more in-depth onboarding process or tutorial would be beneficial. Also, its mobile app could do with some refining for better usability.

Pros of Smartsheet include:
- Easy to create reports and dashboards (love the widgets!)

- Dislike that you can't use a report to add new line to parent sheet
- Dislike that parent and child rows don't have robust connectivity in reports

- Wanted to have a web-based platform that would allow for multi-user access for collaboration across project and program teams

What do you like best about the product?
1. Creating, managing and sharing project plans.
2. Quick dependencies creation within plans with the Gantt Chart view export providing clear visibility.
3. Ability to automate backend processes (emails, capturing details) leveraging frontend forms that are easy to build and present.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Add the ability to add holidays for individual resources and public holidays for different regions. (Also, allow the user to define holidays). The plan should auto-adjust based on the holidays defined by the user. For comparison, MS Project has offered this for several years now.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Smartsheets helps us prepare project plans quickly. Setup is a breeze.
2. Smartsheet forms are being used to automate support tickets and assign them to the correct queue.
3. We're using smartsheet forms to raise invoices for client projects where managers can select the period, attach the SOW, and automate the process.
4. Project Managers leverage custom built dashboards to present the weekly project status to their clients.

Smartsheet simplifies the best parts of excel then adds even more functionality & collaboration.
What do you like best about the product?
The ways you can link multiple sheets together to create large-scale reports. The ability to create collaboration spaces and allow several different levels of access and ability within one sheet. I also enjoy the ability to transition between different views on the same sheet to see an easier timeline or a more detailed list, depending on what is needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be awesome if the save function was more automatic and less dependent on the user to hit a button. Editing between rows becomes finicky when you've had a sheet open for a long time. And when in snap screen, it is impossible to see what you are typing in a box until several seconds after you finish resulting in many errors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving how monthly data is collected, streamlined, and communicated to share the success stories of a whole team. It is also keeping projects with several tasks and collaborators involved organized and on track. I personally use it to know what my work tasks are for any given day, week, or month as well.

It is very powerful, and if you have the time you can make it do a lot of what you would like it to do. It is great to have many of the tools that you need for projects at your fingertips
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be very confusing to work with at times. You need to dedicate a lot of time to use the higher functions. And sometimes it acts weird and makes views hard on reports

allows us to make big reports that can share out through the organization. We can make project trackers for individual projects and keep them up to date, and with dynamic view I can give the customer a view of the project status in real time.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Smartsheet is how it can do things for us automatically. It has tools that eliminate repetitive tasks, allowing us to be more productive. We can also design workflows to meet our specific requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet does a good job with reporting, but it could have more ways to show data. Having different kinds of charts and ways to see data would make it even better.

Smartsheet has solved our project management challenges by providing a centralized platform for planning, tracking, and collaboration. It has eliminated the need for multiple spreadsheets and email threads, ensuring all team members have access to real-time project data.
