The best way to know how my project is doing
What do you like best about the product?
Visualization is incredibly easy to understand. I love it because I don't have to struggle to decipher the information on the screen. This is one of the features that makes it easy to communicate with clients.
The implementation of formulas is quite good. It is slightly similar to Excel but much more powerful.

What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation is plentiful but a bit difficult to understand. I would love to have tutorials to accompany the documentation, especially for new team members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is the mainstay of all the projects I work on. It is a great platform for detailing each step from an overall plan. This is perfect for assigning each task in a very intuitive way.
Communication is often a challenge on larger porjects, but now it is considerably smoother thanks to the platform's communication tools.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a powerful tool. It has a great structure because of the hierarchies. They allow you to dive into different project levels in a way you can't with other tools like Google Sheets or Excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could edit Smartsheet files live like you can in Google Sheets or Excel. I also think the platform is not as intuitive as it could be when you first get started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows me to keep track of various projects, whose involved on them, the tasks at hand, and the timing for everything all in one spot without the information becoming overwhelming.

What do you like best about the product?
The benefit of Smartsheets is that it has many different templates to use for various purposes. I like not having all projects use the same style but having them all available in one source.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve when using a new sheet. You have to play with it a bit and match it to the purposes of your project. Sometimes I think one is most appropriate, but wish it had just one more element. Then, I have to build it to have all the things my team needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is benefitting our department currently because it is new to many on the team and so they pay closer attention to those things that appear different than the way they are used to seeing it.
SmartSheet gets the basics done
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very intuitive. Given it is based off of an excel sheet, adoption for an organization is fairly easy. The workflows and forms are a bonus as well as they are simple to set-up and integrate. For basic usage Smartsheet is simple for most users.
What do you dislike about the product?
The more advanced features of Smartsheet are harder to learn. While you can use project cards and boards, it is not ideal for this type of set-up. Sub-tasks become clunky and the UI is not as seamless as an Asana or Monday.com. I do like Smartsheet, but always find myself wanting more from it. I think it is a good introduction tool for project management, but you really need someone on the team dedicated and trained to make this more robust.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We adopted SmartSheet to assist with our project management and to have a standard organizational tool that was accessible to everyone. In general, we have seen positive increases, but there are still some additional tools that would be nice to have.
Excellent platform to colaborate
What do you like best about the product?
Smatsheet is relatively easy to maneuver & it's great for collaboration with other Teams. Smartsheet has more interactive features than Excel or other similar programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, Smartsheet was a bit intimidating; however, I quickly got the hang of it. The features are extensive; therefore there's always more to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration within our Team. Extremely beneficial since our Team members are not all in the same location.

The platform offers an intuitive interface, adaptable project tracking tools, personalized workflow and automation options, seamless real-time teamwork, and smooth integration with various apps and services.

Visibility on reporting should be more like Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It supports effective team collaboration, makes it easy to monitor project tasks, streamlines the agent coaching process by tracking compliance, and offers reliable tools for managing roster updates, changes, and payroll.
Transformative After Growing Pains
What do you like best about the product?
Its versatility, particularly with premium add-ons, is incredibly powerful. It has suited us well in almost every situation where we say "We need this tool, but it doesn't yet exist."
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve to get beyond simple form-filling and into the truly powerful use cases is pretty significant. With so many features, its difficult for many to grasp how Smartsheet can/should be used. This has caused some scaling challenges in our organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been majorly helpful at reducing/eliminating the more tedious, admin-type tasks. There is much less copying, pasting, and sharing duplicative information in our workflows.
Value for money but can be a little buggy
What do you like best about the product?
Custom fields for cards, automation, different layout (card,spreadsheet,gant), non licensed members. Hipaa compliant is also one of the biggest factors why we chose smartsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can feel really buggy sometimes, not saving the board, not super easy to use. People say it's like a low cost jira. But jira is so complicated and hard to set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for many teams. The best solution it provided us is tracking and assigning work for different members. We also use it for our product team to capture our backlogs. Also we use it in our sales team to keep portfolio and sales status for our clients.
Great project management tool without the steep learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet combines some of the best features from MS Project and excel, to turn it into a pragmatic management tool for smaller, agile projects. It is very easy to pick up and can be a great tool to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some gaps when compared to the scheduling and Gantt features in MS Project. For instance, there are some bugs that occur when setting milestones, and when linked tasks are updated, the miletone does not get updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management and collaboration with internal team members. Presenting customers with a consolidated schedule that can be accessible without the need to install software.

What do you like best about the product?
Managing information in a structured manner is made easy with features like automation (API), workflows, and permission breakdown by specific cells. Another great advantage is the ability to maintain a standardized and organized view of your work, with options to adjust column size and button placement.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that really bothers me is the inability to create macros similar to Excel. Even though the API is strong, it seems like nobody wants to devote time to the as developer mode.

One way to streamline data control is by collaborating in a manner that doesn't require imposing restrictions or complex requirements on users. By simplifying the process and allowing greater user control, a workflow can be established for managing data effectively.
