Organise all your tasks with Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that Smartsheet is so highly customisable. It makes it easy to aggregate data from multiple sources, create tools for specific processes, and display results in different formats. The interface has also been thoughtfully designed; it's much more intuitive than other project management platforms, even after being configured by a Smartsheet expert! All in all, I believe that the judicious use of this powerful tool can make managing projects easier and significantly faster, while also providing real-time dashboard visualisation effects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that Smartsheet does not offer the same sophisticated features as Excel. For example, when I need to create a long-term weekly plan, it is inconvenient and time-consuming because I cannot rearrange columns or combine them into horizontal and vertical views with text formatting options like I can in Excel. This lack of flexibility significantly limits my productivity when working on such projects using Smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps me stay organised and on track with my projects. By delegating responsibility for each row, I can clearly see what tasks need to be completed, while also keeping track of who is working on what in real time.
Achieve more quickly and easily
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Smartsheet simplifies many of the tedious tasks associated with creating and managing documents. Its intuitive interface makes it easy to create well-structured documents while implementing advanced privacy protections for sensitive information. With its customisable templates, I'm able to quickly and easily tailor any project or task to specific needs - ultimately saving time and promoting effective team collaboration through secure access controls. Taken together, these features clearly add value to the platform and make it one of my favourite tools for fast, efficient planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have found SmartSheet to be less intuitive than other spreadsheets and have often struggled to perform even the most basic calculations. The process of editing a column containing data is particularly tedious as it requires you to manually adjust each cell. I have listed some of my thoughts on how to improve the usability of Smartsheet for users around the world.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I benefit from Smartsheet because it allows me to manage my projects more efficiently by overcoming certain challenges that weren't possible with older project management software.
Intuitive solution with good value.
What do you like best about the product?
Can be used widely within the organization without requiring all users to be licensed. Broadly applicable. Intuitive to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sheet capacity limits are burdensome. Work around requires creation and management of many sheets. Loading and saving can be sluggish at times for unknown reasons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A major use is scheduling and tracking production work through fabrication shop. Another is managing project data and collaborating on those projects as they are completed. Also use the tool in many instances for request submission and tracking.
Smartsheet is GREAT tool for organizing work outside the confines of inefficient company PM software
What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about Smartsheet is the availability of a free version to try. As a project management consultant, I do not always have access to my contracted company's full suite of software so Smartsheet was available when I didn't have a subscription. Now that I am full-time with a great company, I have a paid subscription with all the features and I use it DAILY!
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like is the limited formatting of the sheets. I prefer Excel sometimes because I can "design" my sheets to be more presentable. As a side designer, when I have to share a smartsheet to others, I do not get to present it as I would have liked because the interface is not meant to be designed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problem I was facing is the lack of space to document our team's interactions with customers. I basically needed a customer relationship manager, outside of Salesforce. My company uses Salesforce to capture the general relationship with customers and not on a granular level as individual products. I use Smartsheet daily as a collaborative, dynamic CRM tool to record all history with our specific product.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Smartsheet gives me a comprehensive view of project progress and allows me to analyse data quickly. The platform is simple enough for anyone to use, but has some advanced features that allow experienced users in specific fields, such as construction or product development, to gain a range of insights. I also like the various integrations that are available, which can drastically reduce repetitive tasks, allowing more time to be spent on real decision-making roles within departments beyond just IT.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like Smartsheet's steep learning curve. It can be difficult for users to get up to speed quickly without an introductory course or professional help to master the features. This can lead to frustration and wasted time as individuals struggle to navigate the interface.

Superior project management with Smartsheet software
What do you like best about the product?
In my opinion, Smartsheet is the best project management software out there. It offers robust automation features that make it easier and faster to complete tasks with minimal effort. Its intuitive interface provides a great balance of accessible features for both basic users and those who need more advanced settings. Progress can be easily visualised through its pre-defined templates, which allow task assignments as well as notifications of activity changes or updates along the way.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike some of the complexity and clunkiness within Smartsheet's syntax. The lack of clarity in certain interactions often leads to confusion when learning to use the application. I also find the need to pay for access modules a little daunting, as it treats features as luxuries rather than necessities.

With Smartsheet, I can consolidate all my data in one easy-to-access place. It helps me keep track of who has access to the data and how it is being used or shared, which makes collaboration within our team more efficient and effective.
Smarthsheet templates provided the solution I needed
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet provides some great pre-built marketing template sets that allowed me to quickly and easily set up a marketing services request process. The customizable forms, reports and dashboards help me stay on track with job requests and deadlines, and easily generate reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to collaborate with users that aren't in our organization, or don't have paid accounts. For a small organization, it can be really costly to continue to add paid accounts for temporary users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet forms has made it easy to collect all the information I need at the start of a project request. It eliminates the back and forth conversations asking for missing details and information.

Great product!
What do you like best about the product?
The interactive worksheets and the ease of sharing the sheets between the company. I also like the number of templates on offer and the easy guidance on how to create effective sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
No auto-saving, I continuously lose my information because of it. I don't know if this is a feature that needs switching on or not available. I would like this feature in a cloud-based platform. Each key stroke should be saved.

Templates, I lack any creativity, so it's nice to have templates in place to help me save time in creating sheets so individuals to use.
Smartsheet: A Powerful Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Smarsheet's automation of workflows is a true game-changer when it comes to managing projects and enhancing organizational productivity. It offers a comprehensive set of tools and features that make collaboration, task management, and workflow automation an absolute breeze. Project scheduling and reporting are intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited widgets and form creation functionality. I find that form deployment to apps is limited if not non-existent. Some feature enhancement requests take years to be resolved.

Smartsheet excels at project planning, task management, and collaboration. It enables teams to define project timelines, assign tasks, set dependencies, track progress, and ensure effective communication and coordination among team members across different teams.
A tool for planning
What do you like best about the product?
I can use Smartsheet to create tasks, assignments, timeline, charts, and reports for my projects. This also allows other users to edit and add inputs to my worksheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet seems to be complex for new users. I don't see any in-app tutorial / guides on how to use this tool. It's interface are not as friendly as Microsoft's or Google's.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet was able to translate my raw data into a dashboard. And since people can also add/edit, the integrity of the report is maintained. It helped me show reports in a representative manner.
