Effective and straightforward to use.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the effectiveness of smartsheet. It helps keep our projects on track. I love how simple it is.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating the CRM is hard to do on your own. You'd need someone who has worked with smartsheet previously, even then mistakes happen crossing the pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the flow from pushing projects to the next stage. It benefits me as a project manager because I never lose track of a project.
Very easy to use but can use some fine tuning.
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is an easy-to-use platform that allows you to use it for a variety of business needs. It will enable the user to create documents without much platform experience easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that Smartsheet does not recognize already typed data, similar to that of Excel. It would make life a lot easier if Smartsheet had this ability, especially when creating more extensive spreadsheets for tracking purposes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet gives me a quick and easy way to create, track and manage projects in progress, due dates and upcoming projects. It also allows me to track employee certifications.
Timelines made easy
What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can make complex timelines that connect to each other which allows the user to make changes to one date and all other dates will change with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
i do not like the gantt chart view. It's very "blah" looking and is not usable to be client facing for our company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me create reasonable timelines for the work to get done and serve as a source of truth.
Intuitive Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that its like an intuitive excel sheet, so we already have a basis on how to use it but it has the automation and notifications that arent necessarily a part of excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
The formulas can be different from Excel, I believe, unless I'm doing something wrong. Sometimes the filtering/sorting can get a little finicky if there are a lot of categories.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly using them for date based sheets. Such as project schedules, we need to track the initial, current and actual dates then bring into our database as a widget.
Great collaboration tool and very flexible to your needs
What do you like best about the product?
Collaboration: you can assign tasks to users and share projects with stakeholders for tracking and visibility.
Flexibility: you can create dashboards and tailor the rows and columns to your needs. I also like that you can link other sheets.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we had a tab function. Sometimes I have projects that have multiple deliverables, and I would like to easily cycle through all of the deliverables within the same window. Right now, I have to create a page per deliverable, and it's not as efficient as having all project deliverables within the same "file" as Excel tabs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking project status and allowing others to have visibility during the project lifecycle. It also helps me track projects and see the pain points easier so we can act faster.
Smartsheet Feedback
What do you like best about the product?
First, it organizes files by sorting data according to desired value. Second, readily available templates just makes data preparation and presentation so much more convenient. Third, navigation of app is easy that even beginners can easily utilize such tools. Lastly, the feature where attachment is allowed is a game changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think all features of smartsheet are really useful in inventories and monitoring anything be it time, resources, progress, finance and so on. I cannot say one is least useful than the other.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It tracks the timeline and progress of our project. Also, issues encountered are listed thus future errors are addressed if not avoided. It really saves us a lot of time and effort.
perfect to help maintain organization across multiple departments
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to share with multiple contributors on multiple sheets. easy to create and modify the sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
After the recent update, we can not print attachments without downloading them first. This really hinders our productivity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
creating an easy to use system that allows our entire production shop to see jobs coming up with attached drawings for the parts they are building. It allows everyone to access everything on their smart phones.
Great Place to Organize Shared Information
What do you like best about the product?
I like how flexible it is. It has so many uses. Additionally, I like how I'm able to edit in real time along with my teammates. It helps us keep track of all of our media plans as well as creative and other advertising information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am new in my career and haven't explored other options, but so far I don't have any thing I dislike about it. It doesn't cause us any problems and we are able to do everything we need in the platform!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a lot of information to organize and Smartsheets help us do that. From flight dates to job codes, creatives, and audience targeting there is a wide variety of information that has to be stored and organized in a simple way.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Smartsheet is how it is to share work with coworkers. It's also super helpful to be able to create subcategories and be able to see our deadlines on a Gant chart or even a calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside to Smartsheet is that it is more complicated to work on a document with a colleague simultaneously. It would be helpful to see the changes made to the document in real-time instead of having to save and refresh each time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps our team see the magnitude of a project while still being able to understand the "simple" steps they need to take to help their coworkers. It helps to break down the project for them and to keep them from getting overwhelmed.
Beginning to understand the power of Smartsheet.
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how you can utilize some standard formulas used in Excel in Smartsheet, stretching the limits of what's possible from sheet to sheet. I've never used another platform similar to Smartsheet so I cannot compare. Smartsheet is allowing me to grow by utilizing its features as I'm getting stronger with my project management skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
In order to get an accurate breakdown of our tasks by contributor, we have to have duplicate tasks, one for each contributor, in our project grid. We are beginning to pull task-related data for each contributor in a specific "metrics" sheet derived from our project grid. Issue being when we assign multiple contributors to a single task(on a single row), we cannot accurately pull in task related data (i.e. hours, number of tasks, completed/in progress task breakdowns, etc) into our metrics sheet. We're currently doing so through the use of SUMIF() statements, which may not be dynamic enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping us reduce on the number of locations different employees will save their work - we understand that we can save files to our tasks and update the version history. It has also increased visibility to the all the tasks that are being worked on for a given project.
