What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the ease of use that Smartsheet provides. It requires no special knowledge or training and has a great library of templates for managing projects, policy creation, priority setting, and overall business strategy. In addition, their customer service is excellent - if I ever have any questions or concerns, they're always available to help. This makes it an ideal tool for executives who need help with complex projects but are not tech-savvy enough to navigate complicated systems on their own.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Smartsheet lacks the ability to customize fonts, sizes, and alignment in forms and digital applications. Collaborating with colleagues who have limited access can also prove difficult at times. In addition, the frequent need to select "Save" after making changes is an annoyance that adds unnecessary redundancy to this software program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheet to stay organized and on track with my employee request management. By providing an easy-to-read dashboard of all tasks, I can quickly see which ones need attention, set deadlines for completion, or delegate as needed - ensuring that no requests slip through the cracks.

Smartsheet has facilitated the efficient organization and consolidation of all project-related information for my firm. Its collaborative features have greatly aided in seamlessly sharing this information with clients, vendors, and contractors, leading to significant benefits.

In Smartsheet, if a column is deleted, it becomes challenging to identify the responsible party or restore it to its original state.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet assists my firm in consolidating and centralizing all furniture, materials, and finishes details in a single location. This comprehensive repository is accessible not only to my team but also to clients and vendors.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Smartsheet is its collaborative capability. It has helped me stay aligned with both my clients and my coworkers instantaneously. The build-in features for measuring duration, predecessors, and baselines are all very helpful for managing timelines as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet would be far more useful if it were better integrated with Resource Management. Our firm purchased Resource Management and have been working to integrate it with Smartsheet for more than two years. During this time, there seems to have been minimal effort to integrate the two platfroms. We are unable to integrate our HR data into Smartsheet due to this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us when tracking projects, timelines, project metrics, resourcing, invoicing, and other functions that help us stay organized within our delivery organization.
It is useful for tracking tasks and keeping up with the team's projects.
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to organize information. I only use it to track my tasks, but there seem to be other valuable functionalities. In terms of competitors, Smartsheet appears to be intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more Excel functions when it comes to sheets, I tried to create a filter in a column so that people can only enter a date after today, and there was no way to do that. Smartsheet understands TODAY() function, but I couldn't use it in a filter even then. I could find no workaround.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of coworkers' projects for improved collaboration. I noticed it is easier for our managers to delegate work efficiently. My business performance has increased thanks to better organization.

What do you like best about the product?
I've used Smartsheet at my last two companies. It is a wonderful way to create and share dashboards, organize information and generate Gantt charts for project development and tracking. The interface is clean and fairly easy to understand, with multiple ways of visualizing input data. The sharing function works very well, allowing collaboration across teams separated by distance and time zone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Two things emerged from my use over the past two years: conditional formatting and Gantt chart functionality. With respect to conditional formatting, extending a set of rules to multiple columns is impossible. You have to build the rules for each column independently, which takes time and raises the risk of errors. Drag and drop functionality within the Gantt view does not work well. If you attempt to modify the sequence through the use of drag and drop, task relationships are broken; they have to be rebuilt to see what might happen.
Additionally, in the Gannt view, there are times when predecessor/successor relationships are sometimes hard to suss out, with occasional untraceable errors requiring a delete and re-entry.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At the moment, it is providing a tool to generate internal dashboards and timelines useful for understanding the projects at hand. I would say that the value proposition has been high - we've been able to use Smartsheet as a replacement for two expensive proprietary software packages.
Smartsheet Form has helped so much for user feedback!
What do you like best about the product?
Using the Smartsheet form to get user feedback has saved time gathering analytics. The automation for workflow notifications based and logic based on answers has helped during UAT testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like more options in fields to help organize data and feedback within smartsheet, like similar excel functions/formulas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We manage requests for flex days. We also use for users feedback on UAT testing. We like the dashboards to monitor user engagement on our help site. We like the workflow automation and notification.
SmartSheets makes work easier
What do you like best about the product?
Creating automated workflows makes projects move from department to department smoothly. When used as a CRM and built correctly, SmartSheets is a great tool for project managers and employees to stay on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times it can be difficult for new people to create workflows and automation. Proejcts can be lost if not formulated correctly. Needing someone to be proficient in formulating workflows can be difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Im not sure what bugs or fixes smartsheets has. I've only had the pleasure of using it as project management software. I haven't had any issues that were self-inflicted.
Simplify workflow management and data collection
What do you like best about the product?
I like the efficiency and organizational capabilities of Smartsheet. Its intuitive data collection forms allow me to quickly and accurately capture the details of a project. Its project management features are essential for our in-house production and graphics services, allowing us to track tasks and progress. Everyone involved stays informed and on schedule thanks to an organized matrix grid that simplifies the established workflow, timeline, and goals. This is an invaluable tool for our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that Smartsheet does not allow you to download and update the template instructions. This would have saved me a lot of time and effort when modifying the PMO template. I was forced to make my own guidelines and note the sections where I changed things because the instructions did not all apply to me. The ability to quickly update and download instructions would have been very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has been a lifesaver for me, eliminating the tedious task of manually monitoring project planning and spreadsheet data. With the automated real-time features, any changes are quickly flagged and I can keep track of the most important details.
Project and task management FTW
What do you like best about the product?
I find that Smartsheet helps my colleagues stay up to date and organized within one project with many moving parts - we can communicate within the app, and all associated documentation is conveniently accessible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Filtering out assigned projects can be a bit combersome, but not impossible. With a few short training videos, new users can acclimate to the nuances and quirks of the app. Listening to user feedback is the best way to improve.

It is helping streamline the communication process on tight deadlines, so that we all understand expectations and know where/how to reach each other without inundating email inboxes.

What do you like best about the product?
SmartSheet is organized and helpful in maintaining an outline of any projects in progress. Fields can be added to cards, color-coding can be implemented and adjusted, and overall it is a great tool for the workplace.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be hard to navigate the complexity of the types of sheets, using of filters, logic based on current status of task, etc. Also, as far as I know, each task can only be assigned to one person. It would be helpful to have the ability to assign multiple individuals to a single task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team and task management and overall organization with projects and deadlines. Being able to create and customize a workflow, in general, is a massive benefit to my job.
