Next level Task manager
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a software that helps you collaborate with your team,, assign tasks, manage other's jobs, manage your calendar, and share documents with other people.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some things I don't like about Smrtsheet are there are no free versions. The project can be very complex because of too many features. too many features that sometimes you find not needed in the project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it organizes schedules and collaborates with many fields, manages the budget at the same time you can use the software as spreadsheet templates, and also tracks calendar schedules.
Works good for our company!
What do you like best about the product?
Having all data available to shift into reports along with the historical data from the previous year. Easy to enter information and use the database. All staff can access the information in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
For our company, once it was setup, if we needed to make adjustments, it seemed to not carry forward for all sheets. Therefore takes time to go back and adjust all the monthly sheets we have set up for the year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is most directly helping with project timelines and construction timelines. We are also tracking construction costs each month so assure we are staying on track or notice if something is under spent or over spent.
Project Management in Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
I love the flexibility along with the ease of sharing it with customers outside of the organization. I also appreciate the forms you can setup and share for people to fill out.
What do you dislike about the product?
The formulas can be hard to do. I would like for it to be more like excel. The dashboards are also hard to build without making a sheet with stats first. I would also like to make a "workbook" with more than one sheet in it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gives a good workspace to track tasks and timelines for projects. I like the card view in most cases but have also used the Gantt chart layout a few times too.
Creating PQs and MAFs easily
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to create Price Quotes and Media Authorization Forms. This is something I do almost daily, so having an easy, efficient process to do so is super important. Also, Smartsheet makes it easy to open new jobs - another frequent task of mine.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be hard to find the right page within Smartsheet. So, the navigation process between pages could be improved. My workaround (and I believe that of my colleagues as well) is to bookmark the pages I use frequently for easy access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps me execute various administrative tasks, such as - creating Price Quotes for clients, opening new jobs for external and internal purposes, and creating Media Authorization Forms for clients. Making these tasks easy and quick is important.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy access to all contributors including attachments within smartsheet to work on multiple items. Really benefit from the alerts if a form was filled out and what actions need to be taken.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to keep track/manage so many sheets within the organization. There are folders but still hard to manage. Should have alerts/notifications if something was assigned to someone and there has been no action taken by user in a set amount of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization of project/project launches. Easy to keep track of action items with deadlines before moving to the next item. Forms are easy to create for anyone in the organization to fill out, easy to keep track of.
Still learning the ropes
What do you like best about the product?
I like how many different ways there are to view information and data in this platform, and it is more intuitive than Excel in many ways. It's also much easier to collaborate with other users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many features are not intuitive, and I have trouble finding the right functions. Maybe the way I'm using it is not typical, but as someone who has used MS office suite for many years there is definitely a steep learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is like a nicer version of Excel, and it is much easier to collaborate with others in terms of leaving comments, assigning tasks, setting deadlines, etc. It's also very handy to be able to see things in Gantt and calendar view.
Streamline progress tracking
What do you like best about the product?
i love that i can assign actions to individuals and tract its completion. users will be notified an action has been assigned and can complete and update in one spot.
What do you dislike about the product?
that you need to purchase seat licenses to edit and creat sheets. it snot a major issue just something that can slow down the process if you dont have enough paid seats.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
project tracking for sure. this has allowed us to track actions and hold accountability . it lets us stream line our action lists and increas autnomy.
The most intuitive, cloud-based project management tool for in-depth and complex projects
What do you like best about the product?
Change is difficult, but the interface of smartsheet has made corporate adoption of the software much more streamlined than if I had chosen another software. The tool is robust but also relatively simple and intuitive to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reports feel very limiting and I wish it was easier to use, display, filter, and analyze data from various smartsheets. I have to use way too many 'helper' columns to build in extra info for filtering that I wish was just native to the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's my primary project and portfolio management tool. It helps us track the overall schedule of our various waterfall style projects, while also having the flexibility of running some other documents and templates through the software to keep information in the same location.
A Powerful Tool with Some Limitations
What do you like best about the product?
I like how user-friendly and flexible Smartsheet is for task tracking and collaboration, though some advanced functions feel limited without add-ons.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet webforms are limited — they don’t support multi-line entries in a single submission, and there’s no option to expire a form link after a set number of submissions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us organize tasks, track progress, and centralize communication in one place. It improves team visibility and reduces the need for back-and-forth emails.
My Smartsheet user experience
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility and versatility, collaboration and communication, most especially automation and integrations. Smartsheet helps me big time in fulfilling my daily responsibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, Smartsheet takes time to load or is very slow. The App also doesn't refresh at times and I have to close and relaunch the App multiple times in the day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Doing repetitive tasks, monitoring projects and third-party app integrations. These are just some of the problems that Smartsheet helps us overcome. Smartsheet has helped our company manage tasks, schedules and projects effectively.
