What do you like best about the product?
It can share the link and easily to show other people the functions. Very straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
The formula function is less likely as excels and lock column functions avoids people copying and pasting.

It can make our business strategy very clear and easy to manage.
A great tool for project management
What do you like best about the product?
It makes complex checklists, to-do lists, and project management sheets easy to configure, edit, and share with colleagues. I especially love the ability to make and share templates with team members, so you don't have to start new projects from scratch. I use it every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functionalities are a little tricky to figure out, and I wish I knew where there was more documentation on the features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me stay on track of complex projects with detailed to-do lists and deadlines. I can track due-dates for every step of the way, easily update things as project timelines shift, and easily share these with colleagues and customers.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a great shared space for multiple users. Our processors work off the same sheets and it is still manageable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had more complex formula capabilities.

Flexibility that MS project and some other tools don't offer

The structure of workspaces and files is not as intuitive as it should be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we have longitudinal projects with lots of dependencies, it makes more sense to use a more traditional project tool vs trying to wedge it into Jira. Also, to get a better sense of timing for these types of efforts.

I love how customizable Smartsheet is. And the automations make it like an extra member of our team.

Customizations can take some time to set up

Smartsheet is providing us with an easy-to-use internal project plan, as well as a client-facing dashboard.
Is a very helpful tool that allows our firm to keep on top of timings and projects

Only downside is that it can take a long time to set up the sheets in the first place, would be good to have better examples of what you can do on smartsheet

Smartsheet is easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is really easy to use and especially I like the fact that we can share a project plan with others without having them to buy a licence.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's not very intuitive doing resource management with Smartsheet.

Sharing a Smartsheet with all project resources without needing them a licence.

It's intuitive, real-time, and dependencies are part of the standard package.

Our business is centralising more and more around Microsoft products, and the integration isn't at that level e.g. tasks linked through to MS
One feature that I don't find intuitive (probably because I'm thinking like Excel) is selecting multiple rows - I always struggle with this.
