Hugely improved our operating efficiencies when working remotely
What do you like best about the product?
The main advantage of Smartsheet over traditional spreadsheets is the automation and the ability to send alerts when certain criteria are met. Web forms with rules ensure that our sales team only submit complete requests for support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest issue we experienced was encouraging traditionalists to drop Excel and move to cloud-based smartsheets. Once people became familiar with it, they never looked back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solves the problem of locally-stored copies of documents and subsequent multiple copies of the same document. Alerts when due dates are approaching also help to motivate users to complete their actions in a timely fashion.

What do you like best about the product?
A very user-friendly tool that integrates well with Google Drive, allowing us to store supporting documents alongside planning tasks. We can assign tasks with reference documents to enhance understanding and collaboration among team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
In group planning, the refresh time is necessary for team members to view changes. It can be time-consuming at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our organization, all users are from Google Cloud, so better connectivity is possible without physical meetings with the teams. Assign tasks easily with the Smart Sheet. Reminders and notifications reduce the need for follow-up with the teams.

What do you like best about the product?
Its dashboard , commands, formula, filtering of data, sharing files , easy updating that makes the team more signifacant and easily check the project status. Real time status is good to see thru web.

It can only access thru online. Limited rows and columns. With limitations also on the linking of data to other sheets. Dashboard to upgrade for more features especially on the tabulations.

Project management in real time thru other teams viewing and updating. Dashboard also helps to easily visualized to check the status of the work or project in real time with collaboration of other groups or teams

What do you like best about the product?
The level of customisation you can achieve is extensive. The automation also allows for a lot of functions. There is also a lot of online help to draw on, which helps me as I'm not very experienced.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the processes are not simple, but that is to be expected to create a sheet with automation. If there were more templates or options for preset automation that you could apply as a packet, that would helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a way to have mulitple users access, edit and respond to requests. Having a central storage point with access for everyone who needs it makes the coordination of activities easier.

The ability to use forms and capture/share the collated data. Also the online spreadsheet to allow our global team of travellers to ensure they work to the schedules provided.

The lack of ability to use multi choice or scales on forms, often we would like users to rate an activity 1-5, or choose and multi-choice question.
It would also be helpful if we had more ability to custom forms, the logo provision on a form is so small, it would be great to add an image or have more ability to design forms.

Smartsheet provides a live up-to-date workplan for our team that travel. It is accessible everywhere and provides the ability for updates as they happen
Highly customizable and intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
The best things I like about Smartsheet are as follows it can be customized to pretty much most of your needs, for me it's easy to use, and it's knowledge base is pretty helpful whenever I get stuck on something, I check on it, and so far it provides all the solutions I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of Smartsheet is it can be limiting if your company is just starting and you have limited funds for extra systems you want to use. It's totally understandable; you have to pay for premium software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems that Smartsheet is solving to our organization are collaboration with our staffs, easy to use tally sheet to the things that are done and what not. It benefits us on having a one stop system to see the general overview of our projects.

Using Smartsheet, we have streamlined our recruitment processes and gained insight into team workload by utilizing shared boards. Smartsheet grid view, collapsible lists, and the ability to duplicate rows or columns make it ideal for creating organizational charts, even among people without computer experience.

Initially, the team had difficulty granting leadership access to the spreadsheets. Since then, we have been able to update and share our role up sheet.

Smartsheet enabled us to consolidate all data collection for the onboarding procedure into a single, user-friendly application.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite aspect of Smartsheet is its adaptability to our processes and changing project needs. Its impressive array of data organization tools, paired with its extensive selection of templates, allows me to customize a sheet specifically for the task at hand. In addition, Formula Builder provides great convenience when complex logic is required in cells, making it much more efficient to customize workflows or toggle between tasks than before. In addition, members of my team have had no problem understanding how this tool works because it is so easy to use right out of the box.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am disappointed that Smartsheet has not implemented more modern formats. I feel that a different approach to process management with increased flexibility would be beneficial rather than simply adding extra days or moving dates around, as this does little to clarify tasks. In addition, considering a different option for project and deadline notifications could significantly improve the system currently used by SmartSheet.

Using Smartsheet, I can simplify the management of large projects by providing a central hub for tracking progress, assigning tasks, and storing documents. With this one platform, I'm able to stay on top of changes more easily and provide my team with the latest information and updates as needed.

Smartsheets is a powerful and impressive tool that resembles a cross between Excel and Trello. For the past five years, Smartsheets has been my go-to application for projects and related communication. I've collaborated with my team on the platform to manage tasks and projects, create forms, analyze data, and design data dashboards. Smartsheet is generally simple to use if you used other PM tools before and well-supported by resources like tutorials and webinars.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see the option to include more visuals and widgets when managing projects, similar to what Trello does with its Power-Ups. It's better than external tools that require our software development teams to integrate a simple thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The user-friendly interface of Smartsheets makes it easy for me to keep track of things like our sales programs and large projects involving many people collaborating on an important campaign/event.
