Smartsheet allowed us to manage all our projects in a effective way
What do you like best about the product?
With smartsheet we can manage both widespread small and less frequent large projects productively and effectively.
The dashboards allow me to see the whole status in a very fast way.
Automation let me be alerted when I need to.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, to cover specific needs on reports and dashboards, I must add new columns, add automatizations, and mix with other reports to achieve what I was looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We must face two kinds of projects; the most frequent are small projects that require fewer resources but run in parallel. The other kind is more significant projects requiring many resources and more complex project management. Smarsheet has allowed us to manage both types of projects simultaneously.
Project Management Tool but not a spreadsheet replacement
What do you like best about the product?
The managing of projects and the ability to change views between Gantt, calendar and grid is really helpful. We've also been able to use the API to integrate via Zapier with our Zendesk system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Conditional formatting can't be copied or rules applies to multiple columns, this can mean building dashboards with lots of columns (such as 31 for the days of a month) can be really manual and time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gives a central view for managing projects but also provides the checkpoint between our internal systems and then when and what to invoice via finance. Alerts and workflow linked to project dates are also helpful in having the system manage the team rather than having to check on lots of things over and over manually.

What do you dislike about the product?
When using Reports, the duration only displays in whole days (ie not part-days).
The timeline display on Sheets regularly reverts to the start date of the sheet, even when previously ticking "Open at today's date"

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It enables a central task management system across multiple facets of our office, accessible by all members of our team.
Customisable and great to use as a live doc
What do you like best about the product?
Very customisable - Can get cells to change colour or puts lines through text etc based on values entered. Also works very well as a 'live' document when many members of a team are ammending at the same time.. Had issues in the past with excel etc where it doesn't sync or saves one persons work over anothers.. no such issues with smartsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do think it can be a complicated-ish tool especially for a new user who hasnt used the system before. I think thats the only issue I can think of to be honest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the mean reasons I use smartsheet for is an 'order processing checklist' I have used other software in the past including excel and also Google Forms but moved on as didn't find them to be the bext. Smartsheet has worked very well for this and I use it as a 'to do' list and work my way from top to bottom. We also have another sheet where the full office team logs all calls that come in to the business, and can then send across a line to a team member for them to ring back.
Too good to resist
What do you like best about the product?
Dashboard features is the most used feature.It will give you the different team overview along with their % use and allocation on any project. I have a dashboard for my team members(50+) where I can see the insight out for all team member.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is bit slow.I think Smartsheet need to work on their loading speed. When we change any field or filter it is taking more than 4-5 minutes to load/refresh the page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a perfect tool for managing your project along with People. Different types of dashboards are beneficial in reviewing the overall business goal in terms of the allocation of resources.

Smartsheet offers a versatile, customizable interface for various tasks and projects, with real-time collaboration features. What do you dislike about the product?
limited customization compared to traditional spreadsheets, even with the Business plan. Potential performance issues with large, complex sheets and occasional challenges in tool integration are also reported.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration between teams and following up with dash board that support the decission for the project manager also the part related to the visibility of data is important
Easy tracking and project management
What do you like best about the product?
The best feature that I liked most was collating data and using it for managing different project, specially smarsheet forms played a crucial role and swim lanes are awesome feature

Data entry was somehow a bit time consuming, more automation in the task could be better
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped in focus on multiple projects at once and be on top of the tasks and helped me do a standup calls every day and assign tasks to the developers and raise a issue when needed.
A fantastic tool for managing large scale projects and teams
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet provides an easy way to collaborate with teams and share workspaces. It is easy to use, and our team was able to grasp advanced concepts quickly with the help of the Smartsheet Learning Center and Smartsheet University. Lastly, our existing skills were easily transferable from Excel, so we did not have to spend many resources on training.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet has lots of potential, but it has its issues. There are quite a few heavily requested features across the community that we would all like to see come to Smartsheet; I often end up finding a post from 5 years ago on the Smartsheet Feature Requests page that a lot of people would like to see that gets ignored, which is a shame to see as some of those features would be extremely useful for our team and others alike as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been struggling with various things in Excel; the collaborative features were not great, it was missing functionality, and it was often not the most user-friendly. Smartsheet changed all that with its simple-to-understand design and layout, as well as helpful links that our team could access if we ever hit a roadblock. Smartsheet helped keep everything in one place and helped organise our work considerably.
Efficient, simple and user friendly programme
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to be shared with others. Interlinking of formulas between sheets are straightforward and easy to use. I can also easily access sheets directly from my mobile phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though I tick to stay signed in, for some reason it always signs be out anyway. A better login screen and prompts will be usefull, or perhaps a desktop app?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are keeping track of actual sales vs our sales targets. Individual sales staff are able to record and keep track of signed deals. This all is incorporated into one tracking sheet per division.
We are also uploading info for management meetings into smartsheet for consolidation of accounting system, as well as smartsheet records.

Perfect platform to control lot of projects in one.
What do you like best about the product?
A lot of variations, how you can create a management system for all of your works. All employess can fill all neccessary info to one platform and you can collect everything in one place and share with your contractors. Also, good cooperating with google calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like limits per sheets. Also, would be great if would be possible avoid of moving unnecessary columns together in second sheet when you copying info from base sheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Information losses like: Photos, protocols ant etc. Also, helps a lot when you can comunicate with each other through the comment section. Everything are in one place and everybody can check recent information and keep everything up to date with each other.
