Improve performance with Smartsheet connectivity and usability
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the efficiency and collaboration that Smartsheet has brought to our organization. With its comprehensive project management tools, we can easily keep everyone up to date in real time with a single view of progress. This eliminates tedious manual efforts such as compiling reports from spreadsheets into PowerPoint or chasing people down for weekly updates. It also gives us versatile solutions for survey design, tracking tasks and changes across teams in one place, while using automated presentations or data visualizations - all of which contribute to improved communication and visibility overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find developing automations in Smartsheet to be quite challenging. Without prior knowledge, it can be frustrating trying to implement different types of automation processes. To make things easier for users, I think implementing guides with suggested action steps and duplication options would help immensely when developing automations without having to manually link between different documents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps me streamline the way I manage requests for my team. With a dashboard that clearly displays all tasks and their current status, it's easy to stay on top of what needs to be done and make sure everything gets done on schedule.
An exceptional and easy-to-use project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
I particularly like that Smartsheet has conditional formatting, which provides a quick visual summary and allows me to manage simple predecessor/successor relationships. I also appreciate the drop-down calendars that make it easy to quickly enter dates as needed. The ability to track percentage progress on subtasks is also very useful, while the activity journal helps remind team members of changes made by whoever changed something. Overall, Smartsheet has an intuitive interface that makes it very accessible even to those new to project management methods or tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the lack of font type, size, and alignment options when creating digital applications and forms in Smartsheet. It can also be challenging to collaborate with colleagues who only have partial user access. I also find it frustrating that every change has to be saved manually; this is an unnecessary step for a software application like Smartsheet that should save your work automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet saves me time and energy as I coordinate the management of numerous client dashboards. Automatically populating tasks to executive dashboards takes a lot of the burden off my shoulders, allowing me to focus more on making sure everyone is aware of critical deliverables and progress.

What do you like best about the product?
Allowing multiple users to view and edit a sheet simultaneously. This can enable the sheet to serve several different functions for several users. This reduced the need for several differing sheets with the same information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Often the need arises to share information with those that would not normally have access. The ability to share a single sheet with an external email address can be very unclear as to how much additional access would be unintentionally granted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing the generation of project plans to allow monitoring and assessing of project tasks as a project progresses from the cradle to the grave. Several simultaneous users can then use this tool to monitor their task load.

What do you like best about the product?
I am incredibly fond of Smartsheet because of its ability to provide me with an automated solution without requiring me to have any prior technical knowledge. Smaller teams can easily take advantage of the platform's well-designed automation tools that require no coding to create processes like reminders and forms. The low-code automations are particularly flexible in their purpose, giving me ample opportunity to explore new technologies while I haven't started learning to code.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that many shared Smartsheets can become unmanageable if too many email notifications are enabled. I think it would be great to have a single, centralized dashboard where all users' tasks and deadlines could be managed more effectively. In addition, sheet owners or administrators would benefit from proactive visibility into the progress of unfinished work to maximize the efficiency of their team members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps me save time and stay organized by eliminating the need for frequent status update meetings with my team. The sheets, workflows, and forms make it easy to communicate with each other while monitoring our projects in real time.
Task planning and management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is an innovative platform that makes managing projects and processes so much easier. The interface is intuitive and easy to use, based on the familiar Gantt chart, which allows me to keep track of tasks in timeframes. Collaboration tools help provide clarity between who's doing what when delegating tasks or assigning specific permissions for certain activities, so workflows move forward regardless of the roadblocks life throws our way; and I have the ability to include additional information for each task when a manager isn't readily available. It really makes managing projects a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that Smartsheet lacks time tracking capabilities. A built-in tool would be extremely helpful to have a built-in tool to track and accurately record the hours spent each day, rather than having to manually add them up each day. In addition, Smartsheet's calendar feature could also benefit from improvement

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a breeze to use because of its modular design and easy-to-use interface. The handy customizable reports, dashboards, and discussion icons allow for full collaboration within our team, from uploading proofs to having conversations in individual lines - not to mention the ample space for attachments. As an added benefit, we can easily zoom in on high-level overviews or drill down into detailed projects with ranked checklists that ensure nothing falls through the cracks, no matter how complex.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that Smartsheet can be a little slow to respond when navigating the side menu to select additional data. It would save time if all the options were visible at once, rather than having to scroll through them one by one. Also, I think it could benefit from an option that allows users to save linked photos directly as files-that way, content can be easily copied and pasted for future use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has helped us streamline the process of completing our projects on time. We can easily prioritize important tasks, schedule activities, and quickly assign people to specific tasks while knowing which team members have a manageable workload and which ones need additional support.
Simple and Organized!
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Smartsheet for its user-friendly interface and extensive customizability, which allows me to quickly and easily keep track of various projects and tasks. It is also easier to use than other project management software because I can easily enter multiple items at once. In addition, the integration feature allows me to quickly compile data from different spreadsheets into reports and dashboards, which saves a tremendous amount of time. In addition, we are very pleased with their commitment to continually improving their program, along with an aesthetically pleasing design; all of these factors combine to make this tool invaluable within our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that Smartsheet lacks the customizability to rearrange columns and rows like you can in Excel. For example, when using it for long-term planning or other tasks with large amounts of data, I would prefer to be able to regularly move frozen, labelled columns left to make room for new data. However, I understand that this convenience comes at the cost of sacrificing the customization options found in Excel's standard features.

Smartsheet helps me save time and effort by providing a centralized place to store event and attendee data, designing intuitive forms that make it easy to collect information, automating invoicing processes, and giving me the tools I need to quickly analyze my data.

Plus, there's no steep learning curve associated with the software, as it has an easy-to-use layout that makes onboarding simple yet effective. What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that Smartsheet places more emphasis on project and business management than on facilitating resource flexibility for educational, research, and nonprofit organizations. A greater degree of customization would make Smartsheet better suited to their needs when managing projects or activities outside of traditional corporate contexts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I benefit from Smartsheet because it eliminates the time-consuming task of manually tracking data, saving me valuable hours. It also provides simple templates with drop-down menus for faster and more accurate data entry, so I can make faster decisions based on filtered insights.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the convenience and efficiency that Smartsheet brings to teams. It streamlines communication, collaboration, and document approval processes by allowing you to eliminate redundant versions of files while providing a secure layer of protection against unauthorized access or data exposure. The automated workflows with customizable reminders make it easy to stay on track, which is one of my favorite features of the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Smartsheet's reporting capabilities to be quite limited due to the lack of customization options for calculations beyond the default settings. Updating sheets and applying conditional formatting or automation is a very time-consuming process, especially when all old sheet references need to be updated in all related global update processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Smartsheet, I'm able to easily view our production schedules on one easy-to-read page.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet keeps me up to date and helps with decision-making thanks to its real-time updates and unmatched visibility into project progress. The improved collaboration feature streamlines data sharing between departments, reducing time spent and improving communication. In addition to speeding up response times, configurable alerts and automated workflows make sure we never miss a deadline for a crucial task. I value the ability to create and keep current calendars because it has made coordinating schedules and deadlines much simpler. Our approach to difficult tasks has changed as a result of Smartsheet, leading to more effective processes without compromising quality or going over budget.
What do you dislike about the product?
A time-based availability calendar for Smartsheet would greatly improve our team's ability to manage resource allocation. Integrating with programs like Float could streamline our procedures and give us useful information about resource usage. Furthermore, improving the user interface to make it simpler for brand-new users would further boost Smartsheet's value for our company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our project management and cross-departmental communication have both improved since we started using Smartsheet. Our teams' productivity has increased and all my team projects are met within deadlines and allocated budget.
