Improve your project management skills with Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
I like everything about Smartsheet, especially that its easy-to-use interface and customizable dashboards make managing projects a breeze. I also appreciate the ability to attach files directly to a project plan, making all the information I need easily accessible in one workspace. The ability to set reminders for upcoming deadlines gives me peace of mind, knowing that nothing will be forgotten or overlooked in the activities of our cross-departmental team. Smartsheet makes project management both efficient and organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Smartsheet's lack of automatic saving very annoying. Having to manually save changes after each update is cumbersome and time-consuming, whereas browser-based applications like Google Apps do it much faster. In addition, automatic saving would make the program much more efficient for me when working with spreadsheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps me stay on top of my projects because it improves communication and team collaboration. I can manage tasks more efficiently and set automatic reminders for upcoming deadlines.

Importing and exporting data would be the most annoying.

how much a sheet is linked to the owner and not workspace, if the user is deleted then all their sheets goes too? really? that makes sense!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When answering thousands of client comments and all the resources are from multiple companies, smartsheet is great and easy to send links and gives free access to outside users.
Smartsheet for effective project management
What do you like best about the product?
I'm particularly excited about Smartsheet because its user-friendly, minimalist design makes it incredibly easy to set up our projects in a timely and efficient manner. With helpful features like the ability for users to customize their own permissions, automated report emails, and embedded content options that make cross-referencing easier than ever, we made an excellent decision to integrate Google Sheets into our system along with Trello. Gantt charts also give us more inspiration to manage each project, while keeping everyone properly informed of each milestone or update helps improve productivity all around.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact Smartsheet doesn't offer automatic saving. This requires me to constantly verify that my changes have been saved, which makes updating a sheet unproductive and time consuming compared to other browser-based applications like Google Apps that already offer this feature. Having access to an auto-save feature while using Smartsheet would greatly improve the efficiency of my workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has made it much easier for me to manage projects and collaborate with teams. With Smartsheet, setting up new projects takes no time at all because the platform is so similar to Excel - making the transition a breeze. It's been really helpful in streamlining project management tasks and helping me stay organized.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Smartsheet best because it provides an easy-to-use, comprehensive project management system. It allows me to stay organized and keep track of tasks by providing a real-time view of progress using visuals such as calendars, Gantt charts, timelines, or grid views. Having a common workspace, accessible from any device, where I can quickly share updates with my team members, keeps us all on the same page when coordinating projects that involve far-flung collaborators across multiple continents. The ability to create checklists within each cell of a sheet streamlines communication between multiple users while keeping accountability at the forefront, making this tool invaluable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the lack of an auto-save feature in Smartsheet extremely frustrating. Without it, users must manually ensure that changes made to sheets are saved properly, a process that is both tedious and time-consuming. This limits productivity, as the convenience of autosaving via web browsers that I see in Google Apps would be greatly appreciated in Smartsheet.

With Smartsheet, I can keep track of all my large and complex projects with multiple workstreams in an organized way. Collaboration between managers is smoother because we have a centralized platform to keep track of every detail in one place.

What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how Smartsheet's real-time updates often misrepresent the latest changes, making it frustrating when more than one person is working on a sheet as their edits take precedence. The inexplicable movement of multiple rows to the page footer is also irritating, and complicated configurations may be required for those who need full editing power over a sheet.

Using Smartsheet has allowed me to stay organized and on top of our client information, sales strategies, and project profitability. I can store all the necessary client data in a single master sheet for easy access at any time from any device.

Smartsheet provides one location to collect data and build reports. The automation is also great for notification of outliers and due dates/reminders
An effective time management solution
What do you like best about the product?
I find Smartsheet to be incredibly easy to use and cost-effective, making it ideal for managing a variety of tasks. It's as easy to use as Excel, but offers powerful business intelligence features so you don't need technical training to run scripts or schedule projects efficiently. I can also share information with external clients or within internal teams without the other person having to download additional software - this alone has saved me countless hours! All in all, Smartsheet offers unbeatable value compared to similar project management tools, and that's why I use its services whenever possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I were to move away from Smartsheet, the lack of effective integration with other Microsoft applications would be a major issue. When I tried to resolve a Log4j issue, the customer service response was disappointing.

Easy and effective task and project management with Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
The beauty of Smartsheet is its ability to provide a deep, comprehensive view of projects and tasks, allowing users to better track progress. It helps teams easily create workflows by assigning action items with due dates and sending alerts when there are updates or changes so everyone stays informed. In addition, the graphical user interface simplifies communication around project timelines for all stakeholders by providing a clear visual representation at any point in time. By providing unparalleled visibility into workflow structures, no matter the size of the team, Smartsheet has become one of the most useful tools available for accelerating successful collaboration across organizational silos large and small!
What do you dislike about the product?
I've heard many complaints that Smartsheet's learning curve can be daunting for first-time users, leading to frustration and disinterest in the platform. To ensure widespread adoption of this tool, I think it would be beneficial to add instructional videos to the home page so that employees can easily and confidently start using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have found Smartsheet to be a great resource for managing our contract development process. It helps me keep track of when items expire, something we had trouble tracking with a spreadsheet.

The ability to collaborate with my team in one location is updated in real-time. I can easily set project goals, deadlines, and assignments for different team members and track their progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not enough business/financial templates already in smart sheet to use. The templates in each category are very broad but I find myself googling financial templates all the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving many issues that my team previously had. Utilizing the project management templates to collaborate, assign tasks, and set goals and deadlines, as well as attaching files to the gnat sheet, has benefitted our team immensely.
