What do you like best about the product?
I love the extra options provided in Smartsheet to allow for filtering, user roles and permissions, and locking rows and columns for editing. We use Smartsheet across our company and it is integral for tracking metrics and conversations with customers
What do you dislike about the product?
We have experienced slow load times with Smartsheet. Also, when requesting acces to permissions for the product, the notification is sometimes not received by the owner of the SmartSheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have a shared space to provide information that can be updated in real time, something we did not have before. We can manage and interact with many different sheets, and it is easy to locate all of your sheets.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a useful tool for organizing and managing projects and tasks within a matrix environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The web browser is slightly less user friendly compared to Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Assigning tasks and managing projects within a matrixed team. It has additional features that were not part of the previous excel sheets used to track these tasks including automated email updates.
SmartSheet is just okay
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has some nice worklflow options and access levels which helps with operations, especially larger ones.
What do you dislike about the product?
I needed something more advanced, and I found that I kept hitting some sort of limited capability. In the end, we needed a small database to get the job done. Some of the calculations really become complex.

It was designed to keep track of members and run reports.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability utilize an existing template to create a new project

The clunky process to move tasks and move data from one smartsheet to another.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to better manage work tasks, including depedencies, ensuring my project is set up for success.
Smartsheet is a simple product, It has some good features, which are easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
Its a very simple product to use, with limited training I was able to use the product quickly, in particuar around reporting it has a number of features available and was easy to understand how to create my own reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
The challenge i see with the product is that it doesnt have some of the more complex capabilites that the likes of Kantata or Salesforce have. Whilst i can build my own dashboards its very complicated to get some reporting and analytics out regarding Utilisation and Revenue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We currently manage our professional services projects in smartsheets. It makes it easy to manage a project from sales contract through delivery, implementation, training and aftercare.

Secured and privacy protected file, helps for several sheet communication

Sometime lags and refresh time getting delay,

It can be used in many different ways, does not require a deep technical background and is very aesthetically pleasing

It does not specialize in functions outside of saturated areas like project management

Monitoring projects and project resources, understanding how much time project team members are spending on tasks and tracking the status of projects.

User freindly. Plenty of features can be integrated.

It is hard to navigate thru project data. A lot of information is dublicated.
