A Powerful and Flexible Work Management Tool for Teams
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple yet complex and allows teams to work together in real-time and share updates easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's simple yet complex, which means without proper trianing it is very overwhelming at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows me to organize projects, track progress of my project and assign them to other individuals while being simple and complex as possible.
Smartsheets can be a powerful tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the near complete customizations you can use to help keep track of your efforts and proper documentations.
What do you dislike about the product?
At time it felt almost too busy to the eyes. Perhaps its the way our VP set it up but im always a fan of making things easier on the eyes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think having live sheets, that your team can work on together at the same time. Communication is big and being able to share a live sheet is a big improvement. Over sending emails of an updated document.
Robust project management software; a bit pricey
What do you like best about the product?
There is a lot of functionality on Smartsheet and ability to do drop-downs etc. There's plenty of documentation to help you get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mostly that it's so expensive! There is also a bit of a learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us keep track of submissions to our student newsletter.
Very intuitive and user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
The interface and how it is easily navigated. For someone who has never used it before, it has been very easy to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be intimdiating or overwhelming at first.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the visualisation on smartsheets are so much more elevated. This has been very well received by other members. The way that various automations can be built has been really refreshing and useful for our team. Smartsheets has helped us more in collaboration and better usage of a shared document.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's honestly hard to move away from having multiple tabs in one sheet. It's actually so much easier to have 1 document with multiple tabs especially for certain work initiatives. This limitation sometimes causes us to revert back to using excel. If smartsheets is able to allow tabs, it would be a game changer!

It's saving us a lot of time in setting up dashboards for our business goals
Smartsheet is great for collaboration but can be overwhelming & often locks up, disrupting workflow
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how Smartsheet makes managing projects and workflows easier. The collaboration features are fantastic for keeping everyone on the same page in real time, and I love how customizable the sheets and dashboards are—it’s easy to adapt them to exactly what I need. The automation tools, like alerts and reminders, save me so much time on repetitive tasks, and the integrations with Gmail and Slack make everything flow seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Smartsheet is a powerful tool, there are a few areas where it could improve. The interface can feel overwhelming at times, especially for new users, and the automation options aren’t as robust or intuitive as other tools. Additionally, managing attachments within sheets can become cluttered, making it challenging to track multiple versions. One of the biggest frustrations is that Smartsheet locks up very often, disrupting workflow and causing delays. These issues can detract from the overall experience and efficiency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It puts everything in one place and allows us to filter. The issue that I often run into is that I can not copy and paste information from one sheet into another sheet which can be a bit annoying.

I use a lot of Gannt charts and project templates

Difficult to set dependancy around date and time/ no support for hourly work breakdown

Project management tools. Keeps my projeccts and finacial performance organized.
Great tool for new teams

Forms, functions to notify as dates approach

inability to collaborate at the same time, copy and paste functions, difficulty of sharing and adding emails
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need notifications when certain events are coming up. It's helpful to have that automation in place to take at least one thing off our checklist.
Mostly pleasent, a few quirks, but a powerful tool
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Smartsheet is how easy it makes managing projects without feeling overly complicated. It’s like a spreadsheet, but with tools for tracking tasks, automating reminders, and keeping everyone on the same page. I love that updates happen in real time, so I’m not chasing down status updates—it’s all right there.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some small quirks. For example, if a banner is visible when I first visit the site, I must first close out before I can see the lower scroll bar. Another thing that can be a bit frustrating is the limit of items in a single sheet. We utilize smartsheets for our ticket support system and we move closed tickets to an archive, but it can only hold so many rows before we have to start splitting them off. The API documentation could have been a bit more clear in regards to type requirements. I spent too many hours trying to figure out the format a payload needs to be in to work as the errors were cryptic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Of course there is the project management aspect, but on a more day to day basis, we have been utilizing it as a ticket system and we utilizie it's dashboard functionality to create statistics about what kind of tickets come in
Simple, but gets the job done
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy to use because it reminds me of Excel. It is great for basic project plans, and I use it every day. It is also easy to share with other users. I also use the dashboard feature which is a client favorite.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to connect with someone from customer support unless you have a premium account so when you have questions you are on your own using their knowledge center or finding random Youtube videos.

Smartsheet helps put all my project plans in one place where other users can view them.
