Smartsheet is a great tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to share, and the storage is really good.

Limited users and not plans for non-profits.

Easy to collaborate with others on projects, status updates; real time sync; rule based automation and notification save you time on some of the manual tasks

I am just a basic level user so could not think of anything that missed my expectation

We are using SmartSheet for project management and status updates - it's just easy to collaborate

What do you like best about the product?
Workflow management and the ability to create sheets that feed into specific reports. Our team runs weekly reports based off of these numbers, and this saves me a ton of time on Mondays.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could track when emails are released.

A Versatile Tool for Project Management with Minor Limitations
What do you like best about the product?
The notifications feature is great for ensuring all team members are aware of upcoming deadlines and keeps us all on track. I like being able to customize when each person receives their notification before a deadline, meaning that everyone has the advanced notice they need to complete the task. I also like the contitional formatting features to keep the sheet clean and organized with little front-end effort. I don't have time to make those small changes to the sheet throughout the project, and conditional formatting makes it a breeze. The integration with other tools like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and various third-party apps streamlines workflows, enhancing productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a way to have multiple pages within a sheet, similar to Excel. I've had several occasions where smaller projects are linked to a bigger project, and having "sub-pages" attached to the bigger project in one sheet would have kept each of those smaller projects more organized and cleaner. I would also like to see those sub-pages have custom permissions so that one person could have access to a sub-page but not the entire project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to keep my sanity with Smartsheet. I work with multiple departments and outside vendors, and being able to keep my work organized in Smartsheet means I'm using a lot fewer sticky notes. I can assign tasks to outside departments, keep track of due dates, and easily make adjustments by dragging and dropping rows or changing task statuses.

Smartsheet is a robust tool that is useful for project management and task organization, whether you're a team or an individual. The community and knowledge base are invaluable to learning the product and making full use of all of the features and tools within the platform.
Very Slick, slight learning curve required
What do you like best about the product?
I like having the abililty to collaborate with others in real time. I like the ability to have multiple sheets interact with one another. I appreciate all of the different template options available.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took some learning to figure out but there are a lot of videos and guides. The more you use it, the easier it gets! I have had a hard time integrating it with teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows better tracking for event management and marketing content.

As I will be doing, look into trainings on how best to utilize the tool.

What do you like best about the product?
How simple it is to make project timelines and run reports for tasks. Really like the different view modes which helps to visualize the timelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to make it more linkable in the sense that data can be linked to other sheets for a more automated tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving timing problems as you can see what tasks are not completed or late graphically.

For the price that smartsheet changes, there doesnt seem to be a better tool than this.
Great for Project Mangement
What do you like best about the product?
I like the collaborative aspect for project management. I use it for onboarding new CRM users. My coworker and I work together on on-boarding and use Smarthseet to manage the process of creating new users, permissions and setting up training. I recently also started using it for our new CRM implementation project plan. I used a template and began filling in our tasks and due dates. It's really easy when you do it this way. I'm glad the templates are there because it would be time-consuming to do from scratch. I have the plan open to everyone in our department for transparency and also so everyone takes ownership of their tasks and updating them. I set up a notification every time someone modifies it so I can be notified of changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Smartsheet could improve on the organizing options for sheets. For me, when I login and look at my sheets, I would like a dashboard so to speak to be able to view them. Otherwise I have a long list of sheets...it's hard to find what I'm looking for. I think the overall user experience in that regard could improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have streamlined the Onboarding training process and also used dashboards to create a hub for a CRM upgrade. We have been able to leave excel behind and create a very complex project plan that everyone can collaborate on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My advice would be to sit through some demos to see what smartsheet can do for you.

Smartsheet is a very professional tool, very intuitive and easy to get to grips with

font size too small depending on the scale of the dashboard - need to zoom in at times to see clearly

I have created a dynamic project delivery sheet for a large strategic project, and this helps me stick to key delivery milestones whilst collaborating effectively with stakeholders

I like being able to store files and create forms within SmartSheet. I like the way you can customize columns and limit the values in columns.

Can't have multiple pages in one document

Organized tasks, lists, surveys, fill out forms. Everything is easy to use and find.
