A must for sharing project progress
What do you like best about the product?
The simple ability to share a sheet with anyone in the world is what makes this a must.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features that are second nature within Excel are missing.
Checkbox columns would be brilliant if they could be all marked / unmarked from the top of the column.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create reports from your schedules and efficiently create dashbaoards from said data.
Great mapping of strong links between multi paralel tasks. Easy to navigate schedules.

What do you dislike about the product?
The customer support often let our request of transfering ownership of platform lay without action and required repeated follow up to make it go through.
I miss the feature to be able to save specific dates then track history changes from them. Currently you have to check cell history manually.

Mapping the schedules of our projects and creating reprots to stakeholders.
Promising product, high learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets is superior to Excel Online sharing and trade blows either Google Sheets. Smartsheets is much more suited for power users.
What do you dislike about the product?
High learning curve. Easy to use basic feature, however the features that set Smartsheets apart have a high learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it as an alignment tool for large cross functional teams.

Dashboard where data can be pulled from other sheets
What do you dislike about the product?
The smart sheet should be smart enough to detect any changes and ask to save the changes. Or better there should be an option, which user can select so that it will autosave every time

Smart sheet is able to rollup data from child sheet and bring to Parent or Dashboard.

That it is flexible and allow create a template that can be changed easily to your different purposes

automated rukles are very manual, and some other actions as well

ecapsulated all the relevant data with structured project view
Very useful tool, sometimes frustrating
What do you like best about the product?
I like the project plan feature of smartsheet the most but I also like the collaboration aspect of it as well especially since collaborators don't have to have a license to participate.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times it is a iittle frustrating to get things working the way you want them to. I feel the learning curve is a little steep, but that is possibly due to other functions the tool provides that I probably don't need.

Organizing tasks and making them visible to everyone to participate, setting up timelines and enabling planning.

Quite complex to learn and use, it could have a more user friendly UI

It displays accountability to keeping up with new and old account information.

There is alot of boxes to check and is somewhat time consuming.

Just keeps track of new and old account specific dates, Donor chair persons communicaton.
The product does its job, but that's it

I like Smartsheet as much as I like eating a salad, I tick all compliance boxes but it does not spark joy at all.

I don't like that it's not straightforward to create subtasks
