The inexpensive, portable, and easy to use system to help with project management for my company.
What do you like best about the product?
The easy to use application and the available APIs for other used applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
The controls to linking other reports or views to standard views that might not be known by users. Almost as if you are suggested to use this report as part of what template you selected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization and Program view of all projects.
Accessible Yet Initially Unintuitive
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Smartsheet makes organization easier by keeping everything in one place, so it's a lot simpler to know where things are up to. The ease of accessibility to navigate the system is quite easy to get to know. Additionally, the transition to Smartsheet was smooth since one of the directors had prior experience with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you first go onto Smartsheet, it isn't as user-friendly since you have to watch the how-to videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps keep everything organized in one place, making it easier to track project progress.
Everyday workflow
What do you like best about the product?
It keeps everyone on my team organized. We can see what each other are working on. I like that I can set alarms when needed for tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Please take a look at your copy and paste functions. I use a Lenovo laptop and can not copy and paste using a mouse, only using a keyboard shortcut.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps each month organized so that we can go back and look at each others work. It was especially helpful when my company onboarded me by separating task by employees and calendars.
Good Summary-Level Planning and Reporting Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love how SmartSheet summarizes items, is easy to use and pick up if you're using it for the first time. I use it all the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't colorize the cards. They are creating the Board View but it is missing features that are strengths of the Card View. It's like they are pushing people to use the Board View but it isn't fully functional yet. I wish that you could do better graphs and dashboards as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I currently use it for planning purposes internally. There are projects that are managed using this plan across several teams.
LOVE Smartsheet and its capabilities! I won't use any other platform but this one
What do you like best about the product?
User friendly and enjoy using the app daily for project management needs. I use this daily and love that there are so many use cases and ways to improve upon Smartsheet skills. I also appreciate that there is Customer Support who are very responsive and take time to understand the issue at hand.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish text breaks and formatting were supported well with bullet points when submitting a Smartsheet form. Copying and pasting becomes frustrating when I have to spend my time reformatting what's already been submitted. The attachment part is also difficult and needs improvement with searching and being able to find it and wish there was a preview options and images showed up easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet keeps us on track every day and creates visibility/transparency among stakeholders and project leaders. It is extremely important for efficiency and ensuring that we are reaching out goals with detailed information.

I like how user friendly it is and how much capacity the system has.

I wish the interface looked nicer. The sheet that I have published is ugly.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is favored by us for its ability to adapt the familiar spreadsheet interface to project management needs, offering features like workflow automation, data visualization, and collaborative tools. Its flexibility allows us to customize the tool to fit their specific processes, making it a powerful option for managing projects, tracking tasks, and streamlining workflows.

Sometimes it takes a bit long to load, and some non-tech savvy employees seems to be confused about the workings of the system

The simple fact that everything is in real time

One among the best, if not the best Programming and Project Management Software
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to control the amount of data shared while not having to create a lot of sheets and/or workspacess. It is very straight forward to use and we were able to integrate it well with our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not an option to merge cells, so the sheet is not modular per say, with very specific type of columns that can be used and a limited library of functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to create a blueprint that can be used to create certain sets of sheets automatically is just fabulous!
Easy to use, many possibilities
What do you like best about the product?
I like the user interface because it is pretty understandable for general tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really dislike anything, I just don't use a lot of what it has to offer and therefore you could argue it's expensive for what I use it for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Calculating time frames of each individual line item, as well as scheduling out every task of a project.
