Seems to miss the mark for resource management
What do you like best about the product?
It is a good easy to use platform for project management with features for sharing. It's hard to weigh it over over softwares like JIRA or project. It seems like they all excel as some things and miss in others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Resource management is unusable or possible completely doesn't work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great for project management and sharing tasks across teams. It's impossible to management resources though.
Smartsheets helped me organize my daily tasks.

Simple layout, multiple functionalities.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of clicking as for the outcome we receive.

What do you like best about the product?
I like its possibilities, but as a first-time user, I do not find it very intuitive. If you have previous experience with other tools like MS, workflows are quite simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that it somehow feels like Excel, but then again, it has very limited possibilities when it comes to formulas and basic things like copying (maybe I'm just a inexperienced user).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves a lot of workflow issues, where we have to get data in from one system and then send out notifications if a cell value changes.
Frustrating for a new user
What do you like best about the product?
I like the potential of having multiple sheets and programs being able to pull data to one sheet
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems to be unable to deal with sorting raw data. I wanted to have a raw data sheet in which information gets dumped into and then have formulas in my 'work' sheet that pulled and showed the data i wanted and updated when the raw data sheet was updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
one spot for quotes to be stored, reviewed and actioned byt both contract managers and contractor
Excellent tool for a variety of needs
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a user and my organization employs people who have been customizing the tool for our needs. It's my understanding that we have been able to adjust the tool to our needs with a lot of flexibility in how it looks and feels on the user's end.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I have had difficulty using the search feature to find database entries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of managmenet approvals. The benefit is that it replaces much of the work that was previously being manually handled by a human.
Smartsheet for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I use Smartsheet daily for my job and depend on it to see my tasks. I love the grid view of all my tickets in Smartsheet. Using filters, it is very easy for me to view my tasks. I like that I can click into the ticket to get all the information, but most of the time, I do not need to because most of the things I need to know are in the grid sheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Implementation was a confusing process for my team. Smartsheet looks like Excel, but it doesn't have the same features so it was hard to determine what was and was not possible.
Smartsheets loads very slowly when I first open it, if my internet connection isn't great it can take multiple minutes to be able to access my sheet.
When you have an intake form set up and the information comes into the sheet it is hard for the user (if they do not have an account) to be able to go back and add more information to the request or see the status of the request.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used other PM services like Trello, Workfront, Asana, etc and I like the way Smartsheet is set up the best. It is a clean design that gives you the information you need without being overly complicated. Smartsheet allows me to see all my tasks at once and mark my progress on a ticket.
Satisfactory experience

Its interface is very easy to follow. Customer support is very responsive. It's also very efficient to integrate into our project.

Latency. Sometimes it lags to load. Some additional features can be added

Automated reminders for tasks, templates that can be used repeatedly. The ability to assign tasks within a sheet to different people. Etc
Fairly flexible platform, we've been able to use it in a number of different ways. I like the idea of automated work flows, although they haven't really fit the tasks we are trying to do.
Powerful tool if you're willing to put the work into setting it up for your uses.

What do you dislike about the product?
UI could be a bit more user friendly, some features are hard to find or not intuitive. But to be fair, there are a lot of features. Simple UI things like being able to drag and move tasks would be nice, and have dates auto change etc.
We also found that when trying to aggregate lists there were certain things that could not be updated on the sheet from our "at a glance list" which would be a huge help.

The ability for multiple people to track, work on and have visibility into MANY projects running concurrently.
