Works Well for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Fairly easy and intuitive to use when starting out, easy to create and edit existing sheets, easy to create templates
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to easily archive completed project tabs, difficult to track changes, cannot combine open tasks from multiple sheets onto 1 master calendar
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing multiple projects and keeping track of open tasks
Decent replacement for MS Project
What do you like best about the product?
When using smartsheet primarily to make Gnatt charts, I like that it is similar enough to Microsoft Project to allow a typical project manager to jump right in. The primary benefit here is that it is cheaper than Microsoft Project with al the same functionality and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I still cannot figure out how to correctly resource load the Gnatt chart to understand if my personal is overburdened. It seems that the integrated features to do this are just a little over my head without much of a coding background.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cheaper and easier to use than other project management software

I like how it is organized and formatted. The fliter optiona are nice as well.

There isnt too much that I have to complain about, it works perfect foer what I use it for.

It helps my team and I organize our projects into one form that is easily accessible.
Lots of functions, need trainings to master them
What do you like best about the product?
It is a very complete project management tool, it offers a large variety of functions and integrations (polls, dashboards, trackers, automated reminders etc) which cover all the basic and advanced needs. Customer support seems great from my experience. It is a great tool for PMs needing a tool to track projects and tasks on a regular basis. If you need a project tracker for basic needs, then it is an easy to use tool, it becomes more complicated for more complex integreations.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not very intuitive or easy to use. Some functions may be hidden, or require to have trainings to be able to use them at their full potential. Some integrations are not the easiest to even find. The interface design is not the most attractive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking tasks during a project: the completion rate, the to-do list, the ownerships. Present the scope of project to stakeholders. Notify stakeholders of tasks they need to deliver. I use the survey function to gather feedback or to prepare for workshops.

Missing functionality that I don't recall at this time. Also, I use it only once or twice a year at most and I feel that I need training whenever I use it.

What do you like best about the product?
If you are knowledgeable of Excel and project management then this is the ideal system for keeping and logging data. Easy to format and sharing with your department and colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not ideal for sales, KPI and customers relationship management. If you need to automate the sheets then need to have a good knowlege and know how of the system.

Helps with sales pipelines and keeps track of several issues in the department.
Smartsheet is a helpful tool for organizing tasks, creating project plans, and tracking progress
What do you like best about the product?
Cell revision history is the most helpful part of Smartsheet. I also like the ease of editing dashboard views and the ability to copy and paste reports and dashboards easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating the data sheets behind dashboards could be more straightforward. Sheet revision history (restore previous version) would also be highly beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is an easy way to collaborate with individuals in other organizations. Cell revision history is helpful for tracking down who made the change and why a change was made.
Decent collaboration tool overall
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that we can easily create spreadsheets and share with others and collaborate on key deliverables.
What do you dislike about the product?
Feels more like a sophisticated excel sheet

We are able to effectively collaborate with external customers and get UAT/ Go-live completed easily.
SMart sheets is an nice platform for data sets.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to convert the sheets into excel sheets and download them. The ease of creating the columns, labels, and check-offs. Creating questions is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the functionality doesn't make sense. Some of the labels/ rules cancel each other out or can't be used at the same time. Once you delete a sheet you can't receive it. If it gets deleted by accident all of that data is gone. Integrating formulas needs a lot of knowledge to create. When I had to utilize it before a smartsheets staff member built it out for us. You have to use some other applications to get different functionality. The data sets don't download the questions with the columns, just the columns able and data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I allows us to create forms and track vital information for our program. We are able to export the spreadsheets in nicely listed excel sheet for ease of use in many of the information gathering ways we need.
