Data driven, steep learning curve, powerful
What do you like best about the product?
If you're looking for a powerful, data-driven tool to manage projects, Smartsheet is a great resources. It's functionality is robust.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the collaborative aspects of Smartsheet a lot. My team enjoys using it as a project management tool. I use the Gant view regularly to help figure out what I need to be working on when, which helps me to know what to prioritize.
I also like the Generate Document tool - and designed a system with it that helped us to more efficiently organize ourselves with tracking travel reimbursements and generating PDFs that still met the requirements of our accounting team. I liked how we were able to integrate it with our current organizational processes.

What do you dislike about the product?
I find that it is a bit glitchy at times, and I wish that it auto-saved, because I have lost my work while working in spreadsheets with multiple users.
I also wish that there were an easy way to do color-coded conditional formatting (similar to the way it works in Excel). I like that tool to be able to cleanly sort data that I need to access in a visually appealing way.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps my team to track all of the different projects we are working on. We have to manage multiple streams of funding, and multiple projects at a time.

The accessibility it has and how you can integrate it with different apps.

The display could be better. Scrolling could be easier.

It facilitates workflow collaboration
Simple yet powerful
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to pick up and start making sheets and gantt chart schedules and start sharing with others. From there, you can make things very connected and powerful. The formulas are similar to excel, so there's not much of a learning curve, and there are additional sorting / filtering features that Microsoft and Google would require an additional software integration to perform. You can connect between sheets and make reports within Smartsheet, or you can integrate to Power BI.
What do you dislike about the product?
The formatting is limited (few colors and fonts, few bordering options), and if you are using columns to make calculations but only need to display a few columns for printing, it can be cumbersome to make the display you want every time. I'm also not aware of a way to export a sheet with its attachments in a good way for future record keeping once a project is complete.

Ability to share decision making information and developing decision making information across companies. Quick schedule development and task management.
Smartsheet has a lot of capabilities

Smartsheet has a lot of capabilities and feels like Excel, Google Sheet and Asana combined.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of the big amount of capabilities, there is a big learning curve. However, I felt like there was a lot of resources available.

I like that it's easy to make an annual calendar of to do things while everyone within the team and external teams can collaborate at the same time.
Using Smartsheet at the surface level
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to create spreadsheets connected to forms to collect and store data.

Learning to navigate . Sometimes I have to google how to do things instead of finding it directly in Smartsheet.

It helps our district organize the data we collect and all users have easy access.

Some cells are locked which inhibits some customization.

Really great project (or projects) management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a flexible and easy tool that can be implemented in different projects. It can be adjusted to match the clients expectations and data. This is because of the "spreadsheet-like interface" which we are all familiar with—helping with the integration and making it easier for the client to get used to. We always use it in our work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Folder management or the file search can be difficult sometimes which is a downside most of the time. But other than that the last update has helped a lot with that.

If you are familiar with excel then you can easily use thus soft ware

I work a lot with excel so takes no times to familiar with almost all smartsheet function

There is no fast respons for support that we need, so you should make a one. This is so frustrating even I have succest manager but the response that I expected wasn't the adequate response that I expected
