What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is has a lot more customisable elements to it than microsoft sheets. It is a lot more user friendly and the user interface is aesthetically pleasing. There is lesser cognitive overload.
What do you dislike about the product?
The onboarding experience. I have observed many in my network experiencing a level of intimidation when it comes to learning and using smartsheets. There is also a lack of clarity in terms of where to use smartsheet versus where to use microsoft word.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Color coding in smartsheet helps quickly identify tasks that are assigned to different team members. The drop down menu is extremely easy to use, with the flexibility of being able to provide status updates.
It is a little different than any other format i have used

The sheets you create can be viewed and/or edited by the entire team

not as user friendly as other formats i have used

it helps our team track RFIs and Change orders
Convenient but Not User-Friendly

I love that multiple people can be in the same set at once and you can attach docs to a row.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its not very userfriendly, I spend a lot of time trying to figure out what I don't know and how to do things. Although the videos you have can be helpful and arent very long, I don't know what I don't know so its a but hard and I don't have the time to watch/go thru videos.

It allows multiple users to be in one sheet at the same time making edits

What do you like best about the product?
I use smartsheet on a regular basis. Once you learn how to manuever it, this will be your best friend. Highlighly recommended

There is a learning curve on form creations and user friendly trainings would be helpful

Smartsheet is reducing the number of emails I receive in different stages of workflow. All information are easy accessible in one place

Scheduling projects with numerous tasks and dependencies can be challenging due to the lack of automated scheduling features.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is helpful for organization and does not require a license for basic functionality.

Smartsheet could be more collaborative if changes were tracked in real time.

Smartsheet is helping me track and organize my project data in one place which I can easily share with the rest of my team.

The excel format makes it easy to use and has a lot of features.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times I feel like the data glitches and I am not sure it that is user error or a malfunction.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All in one place to keep multiple tracking sheets and ability to give access to specific users.

What do you like best about the product?
I think Smartsheets is a great way to collaborate with other team members and assign team memebers to different task.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful about Smartsheets is no having certain trainings or features that certain software have. Customer support can also be harder to get in contact with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows different users to collaborate in one areas. It also allows us to have a project holder to store all of our sheets in one organized area.
Gets the job done
What do you like best about the product?
It's straight forward and easy to use. Haven't really had any issues with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't care for is to see changes in real time from other users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The company I'm at is working on 60 project simultaneously. It greatly helps with keeping track of the status of each progress
Great organizational templates for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Once the organizational structure is setup, it is very convenient for all platforms and all project types. Layouts can be developed for specific projects/needs/wants/ within the organization. It is very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The backend programming that is required to get the preferred layouts and organizational structure is very tedius. It does require crossfunctional coordination with someone with the abilities to do that programming.

In cross-functional teams it is useful in storing and organizing documents in one place for edit and review
