Comprehensive and User-Friendly PM Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I use smartsheet daily, my positive feedbacks are:
Easy to use, we have implemented this tool in a few days
Charts are highly customizable.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Printing to PDF is quite tricky.
- No integration with basecamp

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us manage projects efficiently by providing a centralized platform for all project-related activities. It allows us to create beautiful Gantt charts for our customers, which visually represent project timelines and milestones. Additionally, Smartsheet helps us keep track of project progress, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within scope. This comprehensive project management capability significantly enhances our productivity and collaboration.
Overall good experience with a few flaws
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet offers great flexibility to manage personal and project timelines, which is primarily how we use it. It is easy for everyone to access and very intuitive to use - it takes very little time to learn the basics. It comes with pre-populated templates for specific marketing tasks that have helped speed up development of planning documents for projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few very annoying flaws: 1-even if you are set for automatic updates, it still warns you when you have not hit save, 2-you cannot copy subitems without expanding every section, and 3-whenever you invite someone to view a sheet, it automatically asks that person if they want to become a licensed user. there is no way to turn this off, and everyone selects it, which then requires I go back and explain they only need to create an account to see a shared sheet, they do not need a license [which is an incremental cost].

A Solid Choice for Managing Projects
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using this tool for project management, and while it has many strengths, there are a few drawbacks. On the positive side, it's incredibly easy to use, with an intuitive interface that makes navigating through various features a breeze. I particularly appreciate the real-time collaboration feature through the Share function, which reduces workload and makes projects more enjoyable.
What do you dislike about the product?
However, one downside is that it can take too long to load at times, which can be frustrating when you're trying to work quickly. Despite this issue, it's still a solid choice for managing projects, but I hope the loading speed can be improved in future updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not all colloberation tools are the same. This one is just better and just easier to use for most users. Smartsheet solves the colloberation problem for us. The real-time collaboration through the Share function helps my team work together more efficiently, cutting down on time and effort. It’s made managing projects smoother and even a bit more enjoyable.
Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity in the presentation. Everything is clear and easy to get a quick overview.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of calendar connections and the need for so many "reports" to make things work for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a visual for each employee on what they are assigned to.
Excel on Steroids
What do you like best about the product?
I like that smartsheets has the familiarity of excel, but is capable of so much more. Creating dashboards and managing projects is an addition to "excel" that I can get behind. Organizing my work and keeping up to date on projects is easier with the ability to share and comment. It is also a bonus being able to tag other employees to grab their attention.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside to me is that if you don't know how to use it, it isn't helpful. There is still so much that I don't know and getting that knowledge feels often times unobtainable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization! Keeping all of the tasks organized through smartsheets is a win. Primarily right now I guess it is helping with project management. Project plans are done in smartsheets and the collaboration can be housed in our project in smartsheets.
Smartsheet Review - Axiom
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very user friendly and operates the same way Excel works. I like the easyness of being able to create tasks by copying pasting a line. Our office uses smartsheet everyday to get people outlined on their tasks, which includes due dates, assignee, and hour estimates. We have also developed a way for smartsheet to export into Core (our time sheet for payroll), so individuals only have to enter their time one location.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about smartsheet is it can be very daunting to see the number of tasks on your task list (though this might be due to how we are operating ), but I also dislike that individuals become to lazer focused on their own tasks and dont see the big picture of the project, or will be too focused on their own tasks they often say "well I didnt have a task to do that thing", which can be a problem where things can get missed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having ones tasks broken down however the individual sees fit. We have also integrated smartsheet with Core so individuals only have to enter their time one location, not two.

Good but require more simple templates
