Great for Data Collection Forms and Automation
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create forms for data collection and tabulating them as they are submitted. I also like the automation tools available.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wished there was a better way to create form templates that can be saved and editted the way it is needed.

the ability for our hospitals to submit a smartsheet form with designated fields. This reduces the typical errors found on a form and reduces the time it takes to process their requests.

What do you like best about the product?
From an L&D perspective in a fast-paced retail environment, Smartsheet has become a core tool for managing learning programs, stakeholder communication, and operational rollouts at scale.
The biggest value for us has been the platform’s flexibility in structuring learning workflows. We use Smartsheet to manage everything from onboarding schedules to national training rollouts. Being able to build dynamic project sheets with dependencies, automated reminders, and clear status tracking helps us coordinate multiple training initiatives across regions without falling back on scattered spreadsheets or long email chains. For instance, automated alerts to store managers when training modules are due have noticeably improved completion rates and reduced the need for manual follow-ups.
The UI is fairly intuitive, especially for teams already comfortable with spreadsheet-style tools. What really stands out, though, is the mix of grid, card, and calendar views. Switching between views lets different stakeholders (for example, facilitators versus regional managers) work with the same information in the format that best fits their role. The drag-and-drop functionality in card view is particularly helpful for managing learning content pipelines and prioritising development work.
Integrations have also been a strong point. Connecting Smartsheet with tools like Microsoft Teams and Outlook has improved communication and visibility, since notifications and updates surface directly where our teams already work. That reduces friction and helps keep projects moving. While it isn’t a full LMS, Smartsheet complements our learning systems by serving as the operational backbone behind training delivery.
On performance, it handles large sheets and multiple collaborators well. We’ve used it for nationwide program tracking without major slowdowns, although very complex sheets with heavy formulas can occasionally lag.
From a pricing/ROI standpoint, the value shows up in time saved and better coordination. What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's easy for multiple people to all be editing at the same time and it updates live. It's also nice that our organization has adopted it widely so it's the go to place for many spreadsheets.

Logging in can be tricky - waiting for a passcode can take a very long time to be delivered to your e-mail (like hours).

User-Friendly for Big Projects, Fast Support, and Amazing Integrated AI
What do you like best about the product?
It is userfriendly for begginers, easy to understand and to visualize the flow of the project. I think it is a fair price if you are manging big projects which is my case. Smartsheet responds fast and clear, if some information is missing from my input, I can easily detect what di I have to work with. Personaly I havent used integration with any other plataform or software beside sending automatic emails, but the friend that recomended smartsheets to me says that the integration aspect is what he likes the most. Setting it up at the start was really easy and there are some helpfull videos for newcommers to get to know the UI. The integratred AI is amazing.
