Made life much easier
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has made our team work more efficiently. It keeps our information current, available in real time and to whoever we need to see it.
The automatic workflows make setting up sheets so easy (and they are very user friendly).
I love that I no longer spend time sending reminders or following up approvals. It has really become a one stop shop for managing our leasing and property obligations.

What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting modes in Smartsheet are not as intuitive and is a bit clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping us to make things work more seamlessly.
It helps us meet our compliance obligations in a hands off manner, as it all happens automatically in the background and alerts us when intervention is required. It save us a lot of time.

Great data visualisation tool, but not perfect
What do you like best about the product?
The dashboards are great for total visibility of campaigns, and taks rollups, at risk etc
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be clunky to format data and the AI assistant doesnt work often. Sometimes tthe data just works despite no changes after some time has passed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The timeline and calendar views are great to capture ongoing timelines, and the dashboards are great for vital reporting up the chain
Reliable Collaboration Platform with Great Features
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Smartsheet is how easily it combines spreadsheet functionality with project management tools. It allows for real-time collaboration, automated workflows, and customizable views—all in one centralized platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, managing complex formulas or cross-sheet references can be a bit tricky without advanced knowledge, but the platform’s flexibility and available support resources usually make up for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us manage student data, track articulation workflows, and coordinate with high school partners all in one place. It reduces manual tasks, improves communication, and ensures deadlines are met efficiently.

I feel like it could be better user friendly took me some time to fully get confrontable using it.

consolidating information, and proving great dashboards.
Google Sheets, Excel, Power Bi and MORE in one application!
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to enter data into a sheet and then with minimal tech on my part be able to translate that data into reports (view only and shareable for edit) as well as dashboards with graphs, images, text and more for presenting. I also really appreciate that there are templates and a Smartsheet University to assist me in learning and implementation as I create what is needed for the team and leadership.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I was able to personalize cells more: bold only certain words, hyperlink only certain text etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is allowing a multitude of information to be housed in one place and have the ability to utilize for various reports and presentations with ease of use and flow. Being able to have multiple team members create and edit the data at once is also very valuable.

My favorite feature on SmartSheet is the ability to view cell history details like who wrote what and when.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of smartsheet is managing/re-strategizing systems that get bigger and bigger.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing a single space to manage, collaborate, and schedule projects from start to finish.
Good project management software, but if you are a MS Project power user you will get frustrated
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Smartsheet has put a spin on project management software and offers features outside of Gantt charts. For the standard user or a new user, Smartsheet will be amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
For someone who gets deep into dependencies and critical paths, this software might be frustrating for you. I find that when I list a dependency the dates lock and I am not able to change the dates on the dependent row. This is not realistic in real life, things do not happen immediately when they follow a consecutive order. I find because of these struggles I don't use Smartsheet as often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Smartsheet to track project development and status.
Really enjoy the simple interface and ease of use in building timelines and work back schedules
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use and learn compared to other tools that are similar, such as MS Project. I really like how Smartsheet categorizes projects within buckets, and can easily leverage templates to help newer team members learn the project management process and best practices. We have integrated smartsheets with other tools successfully too which has been nice to pull data and work into other tools that some other teams prefer over a more PM oriented tool. I use Smartsheets daily and have for many years in the agency world and it is very helpful for tracking progress and also alerting you when you are off. Overall, highly recommend!
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be complicated to use across time zones and geographic regions. It can be difficult to learn the steps to properly build a workback schedule if you are not familiar with dependencies but their customer support is great, and so is the general learning curve to implement this for specific teams and projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps the work organized and in one spot as a source of truth for myself but also my extended team, other vendors/partners, and my clients. It is very nice to have long term when you manage multiple projects and sometimes knowing the overall health/status of projects, from at least a timeline perspective, is very important.
A great project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the way it organizes my data and the AI formulas makes it easy to create formulas that you would otherwise have to memorize how to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analysis of the data isn't as good as what Excel or Google Sheets could do. The change in licenses is a huge bummer for the team and something we are all very much disappointed in.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease with which I can create tasks and subtasks for my to-do list and do some basic project management without the cumbersomeness of MS Project. It's very easy to use compared to Project.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess I do not know if it can be used offline, if so, that would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's more efficient than Excel or Project so it makes it easy to create tasks and sub-tasks, use priorities, assign owners, filter the views etc
