What do you like best about the product?
I like the spreadsheet functionlity mixed in with automations and collaboration abbilities
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the data is not well connected and its difficult to build out big data sets that are connected within smartsheets. Also, the service that I have received at times from support and from Smartsheet account managers and supervisors have been poor at best.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is keeping data organized and detailed so my team can keep track of things and coordinate well amongst the team.

What do you like best about the product?
Before, We had a email submission, which we had to input manually into a spreadsheet. This was so time consuming as we get a high number of submissions and we look or touch these sheets on a regular basis. Smartsheet was easy to implement and easy to updated when we need to for reporting or financial purposes. It can be exported into an excel to combine with another excel. Most importantly all of our submissions are collected in one particular spot per designated topic.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing to dislike is there a user cannot get a previous version back. Example: A employee deleted all data in a row and it saved. Once it was realized what happened,we were able to see what was on the line and they had to re-enter all data. It is a very time consuming process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping us keep track of submission and who they are tasked to.

What do you like best about the product?
The fact clients can see what is going on with their account.
What do you dislike about the product?
A line has to be created for each task and this is time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a location to share documents concerning work that our clients can the retrieve.

What do you like best about the product?
It's a good tool for collaborating, with clear visibility on when tasks are due and for whom. Easy to filter and sort rows depending on requirements
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet does not automaticallly save. This has led to issues for certain team members in the past who have lost work. It also prevents two people working on the document at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking deadlines, keeping schedules aligned, inter-company collaboration

What do you like best about the product?
I of course like that it allows the ability to track projects on a long term basis and allows many collaborators visibility. The color coding of the status is good, and all the available customizations are nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly feel that trying to make line entries can be cumbersome, and the system fights you somewhat, and for that reason I haven't used SmartSheet for my PM's in a bit. I need to see if that has gotten better. if there was a copy and paste feature that might help, because when you have something customized and you have to rebuild it for each line, it's time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
collaboration on larger business projects with internal and external teams. I was using it for personal work management tracking, but it got to cumbersome to login all the time to update it.

Fast information gathering and workflow creation

What do you like best about the product?
I like the framework it has to allow for quick creation of small teams and workflows that can be designed, created, and utilized by the creators without traditional IT support. It has reporting metrics that work well in these processes to make sure they are working well, and meeting the needs of the users.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to understand ownership and permissions at an administrative level. This causes confusion on the organization about where to go for access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task and work management with some medium level workflow tools.

What do you like best about the product?
That I can involve an entire project team on a sheet. It serves as a valuable tool to bring Architects, Engineers, Designers, the Ownership Team, and our Preconstruction Department together to collaborate during the preconstruction process.

I know there are ways to implement this program to fast- track alot of our document processing tasks, but I lack the training to integrate it into our current systems. Few people here know how to use the program effectively, which I think should change. I think we would see greater use if more were trained on how to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is confusing to know what will be sent out to contacts, and what wont. I am always doubly cautious on what I send and what I don't in fear that I will share too much.

Training resources would be huge. Both Bluebeam and On-Screen have great training resources and "how- to" manuals. Videos are great, but not everyone likes to watch a video, when they can just address a manual quickly on how to do something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We found a way to use Smartsheet during the preconstruction process, in a way that allows us to set tasks to teams, set up workflows to remind them of their tasks, and keep the preconstruction process on the right track by getting items back in a timely manner. It has been extremely helpful in that regard.

What do you like best about the product?
Good for growing businesses wanting to put business processes in place as it has valuable automation features. Flexible and easy to set up
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrations with smartsheet have been lacking. As smartsheet is a product all on its own, integrations are key. They are getting better but have been lacking for a while
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has allowed us to have a system for our business processes, where things relied on email before. It has been easy to set these up with a good amount of automation features

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is useful for providing a single source of truth for teammebers to access and edit data acros different geographies. It is especially helpful for projects that have data points being updated frequently. It is great for tracking schedules, updating project risks, or tracking stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet is not as known/studied as Excel. It can be difficult to get teammbers to commit to using Smartsheet, and to teach them how to best use it. While Smartsheet has many features, it is not as straight forward as manually working something out in Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us bring many project stakeholders to one data input so we are not updating different sheets at different times. It helps us coordinate and control data inputs.
