What do you like best about the product?

While using the same I found this easy to adopt and user friendly. I used the same in one of my project related work and were able to customise the sheets according to my data and requirements. And we can also change to different available templates as well. And if any tasks is been repetitive then it will streamline those and improves efficiency.
I found this organisation friendly as it was easy to adopt on various ecosystem without any heardles. It makes a team to take a profound decision for a particular tasks and clear visibility on project status.

What do you dislike about the product?

For the first time users it makes feel like lot of options for customisation but after sometime it become handy.
We can't use this offline.

The benefits of SmartSheet are numerous, but my favorite feature is the ability to quickly build reports.

I wish that a sheet could have more than one tab/worksheet, and I wish it consistently updated in real time (rather than having to save/refresh to see updates). Additonally, more formatting options (like borders or alternating row colors) would be really helpful.

Smartsheet makes it very easy to streamline business processes and create dashboards. The range of templates are game changers and you are almost guaranteed to find something that suits your needs. What separates Smartsheet from the rest of the tools in the market is how easy it is to automate things. No need to be a coding expert - no need to know coding at all.

Smartsheet is very similar to Excel which translates into an interface that most users are already familiar with. There are a few key differences so it does take a while to learn certain features to get the most out of the program. Formulas are slightly different and some capabilities are limited.

The Employee Resource allocation capabilities are limited and do not connect well or pull information easily from Resource management.

Project management is the main problem that Smartsheet is solving along with workflows and task management. We are also happy with the data that it is able to capture and report regarding project contract totals and goals.

What do you like best about the product?

Basic functionality (like duration, dependencies, and critical path) all exist and are easy to understand and use. User interface is very similar to Excel which increases user adoption. Import/Export to/from Excel makes the process of creating and sharing a project plan very easy. User forums are helpful as a form of customer support.

What do you dislike about the product?

Work breakdown structure doesn't exist and while formulas can be used, there are limitations. Formulas are similar to Excel but different enough that additional time is needed to understand how to use them. Program management requiring multiple interconnected plans is very messy and requires a lot of creativity and maintenance.

Managing a project with multiple users requires a "live" platform instead of a static Excel workbook or MPP. Users can access the same plan at the same time and make their updates.

What do you like best about the product?

I have used Smartsheet in the past for Project Management. It was quite simple and easy to use. I have used it for a good period of time before switching to JIRA. It had a lot of collaborative and automation features which is why we went ahead with this tool at the first place.

What do you dislike about the product?

To be very frank, it seemed to be similar to Microsoft Excel with some added capabilities. It is not as robust as JIRA and not very effective for a large organization like ours.

Smartsheet solved our problem of automating the project management activities and gave us an easy to use tool to effectively manage all our activities. Kind of helped in to streamline the activities and managing the tasks in a more efficient manner.

Once you get a process automated thorugh smartsheets its extremely simple and has great visibility

Everything has to be set up to the smallest detail and is not very easily moved around. I dont like that there is no one I can chat with when I'm having a problem setting something up or troubleshooting
