Best In Class for Mixed Requirements and Utility for Our Company
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ability for truly collaborative use and feature sets to streamline data manipulation into almost any way you want your data presented. I also love how we are able to export to other spreadsheet formats for use of data outside of the tool or offline use. I also enjoyed use of integration with JIRA to read sheets and generate tickets on a scheduled basis. Customer support when needed was very helpful and calls with a professional service person. Throughout our org we seemed to have used many different features and frequently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not like how it was difficult to create forms for customers etc to fill out that would convert to a smartsheet with the responses. Standard forms we use for sales, onboarding was able at one point with great assistance to generate one but to do that myself was either just not being knowledgeable enough or limits of that as a highlighted feature you can use easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to use it to track integrated use with our JIRA ticketing system to solve a problem of how to generate scheduled tickets with prefilled fields. It has saved a tremendous amount of time having a collaborative set of data points for reference and constantly changing data. It has allowed us to perform project management and manage work load easily.
Smartsheets help develop workflows and delegate tasks
What do you like best about the product?
I like that instead of delegating tasks one at a time I can set up a workflow to delegate the tasks automatically, but receive the notification of the request for review.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little bit slow to save and integrate. I would love to know as well if there will be an AI tool integrate to help assist users in making more complex sheets faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has allowed me to delegate tasks efficiently and monitor tasks requested by the admin team. I also create workflows for our company that I don't directly monitor, but allows a number of tasks to be improved. It allows us to create workflows and systems that people can follow and a database. For example when we offboard an employee the necessary people are notified and we have a record of employees who have left. I use Smartsheets everyday.
Great for keeping track of assignments with the team
What do you like best about the product?
It is great for keeping track of assignments with the team and individual things I'm tracking for keeping track of historical data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. I've been very happy with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps the team know what proposals are happening, coordinating time off with deadlines and tracking for the future.
Great for construction project management.

Our company uses this portal to enter invoicing for collaboration across many departments. I also like using the scheduling software.

I am still learning some of the features within SmartSheet.

Collaboration between multiple departments and filing of information and files.
Smartsheet is a great software that allows multiple projects to be shared and edited by many.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to communicate with others on project status at any time. To be able to review past projects and use that info for future ones.

No dislikes at this time, after using for a while, it becomes very easy to use.

Helps with cash flow to allow better future budgeting.
Simple to Use and gets the job done
What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to learn and setup because its similar to excel. Customer support is quick to respond and US based.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its features are not as robust or "pretty" as other project management platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a platform that was easy for our clients to use and navigate, Smartsheet is so similar to excel that it is easy for people to use without much training.
I'm satisfied with it — I've been using it for over a year.

The variety of templates and the many customization options.

It's a bit difficult to use on mobile or tablet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The categorization of numerous tasks and the creation of a so-called daily plan using the "stickers" feature.
Support for company-wide project implementation. Defining steps, executing, and reporting results.
What do you like best about the product?
The biggest advantage was the entire team working on a single Excel-like file with the ability to attach documentation to each step. Easy reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
A problem with work efficiency arises when the file is used by several or a dozen people at once. If two users try to save at the same time on a large file, it can freeze. Performance dropped significantly as the file grew in size.

Collaboration of a large team within a file collecting multiple projects from various departments for several production plants. Easy information exchange. Easy reporting from the file.
A sheet which can make you smart Manager
What do you like best about the product?
Adding advance features like gant chart and other macros into sheets to manage the project data more efficiently and intuitively.
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit costly for advanced usage comparing to other tools

Making working on sheet more quicker, easy to integrate smart concepts into sheets.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has become an essential tool in our construction project management workflow. The ability to set up Gantt charts, automated alerts, and client-facing dashboards has significantly improved our coordination and visibility across multiple projects. Ideal for managing timelines, budgets, and subcontractor communications in a dynamic construction environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Smartsheet is highly functional, there are a few limitations. The learning curve can be steep for team members unfamiliar with spreadsheet-based tools. Real-time collaboration is sometimes slower than expected, and mobile functionality could be more intuitive, especially for on-site teams. Additionally, integrations with some construction-specific software platforms are limited or require workarounds.

Smartsheet helps us manage construction projects more efficiently by centralising schedules, documents, and team communication. It’s improved accountability, reduced delays, and made client reporting much easier. The real-time visibility and custom dashboards are a huge time-saver.
