Excellent project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how user-friendly Smartsheet is, and the incredible potential it represents. I use it almost every day for project management purposes, but it has many different uses and applications. I really love the ability to create dashboards, and how easy it is to contact team members and share documents with them.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I mostly miss in Smartsheet is the ability to create tabs within a single sheet, like one can do in Excel. I don't like keeping so many sheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to keep track with my projects and keep all my documents safe and in a single place. It also helps me to keep everbody in my team connected and notified of any project updates or requirements.
My experience of smartsheet has been very good. It is an easy to learn product.
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to learn and manage. I did not have any technical knowledge, still was able to adapt it to very easily. It has a lot of features from automations to reports to dashboarding which are very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost for add-ons is one of the downsides. It for sure makes it easy to start but then if one wants to go into Control Center, dynamic view and other add-on features, it can become costly for small to medium level organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping us keep a track of all of our daily tasks which is useful in our catch up meetings to discuss what we have been doing and what are the next steps. It also helps us keep track of our sales activity, our prospects, details of these propects, next steps and the different stages these propects are in.
Advanced version of Excel
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Smartsheet is task allocation or adding contacts in the tasks, automation and reminders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Linking of cell to cell is bit tedious and tricky. I need multiple attempts for cell linking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't need to write my tasks on the diary or notepad anymore. Automation woks for me.
Great for Data Automation
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has transformed the way we collect and manage data from internal and external sources. It's a great tool to use to manage data organization with the use of automation via workflows. It saves us lots of admin time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet takes some familiarity over time to learn all the features and how to set up reports and create dashboards correctly. Viewing access is sometimes difficult to figure out but it's really trail and error sometimes while tweaking settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The time taken to collect and sort data, automating tasks instead of using manual Excel sheets and formulas.
Great Tool for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
It's user friendly, has great tools within in it to customize for each of our company's projects. It has been easy to integrate with our company's needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are glitches and additional content in columns when creating new timelines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to use resource management to understand our team's resources and availability day by day. It's been easy to create templates for certain projects to copy over and use again and again.

The ease of consistent, standardized format that is easy to use filters and rules
Dynamic organizational platform with a multitude of uses
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet offers a wide variety of organizational tools that allow for workflows to be streamlined in one place. Recently, my team switched from google sheets to smartsheet. At first, this seemed daunting, but we soon realized that the integration was seamless as we were able to download our google sheets as excel files and upload to smartsheet. Smartsheet has become the main platform used for my project due to its numerous features as well as its level of security. My project solely uses smartsheet for tracking data both internally and shared with our client. We are able to utilize smartsheet for scheduling, resource tracking, communications, and directive tracking which has resulted in a reduction from two platforms to just smartsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having so many features is one of my favorite aspects of smartsheet, however at first there is a learning curve. It can be intimidating to use at first and requires a level of time commitment in order to identify what template may be the best for a given task. That being said, I do not believe this is an issue solely with smartsheet rather any new platform that boasts a multitude of templates and abilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets provides a level of security throughout all sheets that originally triggered the switch to the platform and has been the greatest benefit. Our client has recently had an increase desire for securing project data, and smartsheet provides that by not allowing those who are not invited/approved to view the sheet. After switching to smartsheet, my team recognized that smartsheet had the abilitiy to replace not only our use of google sheet for data tracking but also use of Trello which was used for communication. Overall, the greatest benefit is having the ability to track a large variety of data in one place which has reduced having to use and pay for multiple platforms.

What do you like best about the product?
We use smartsheet daily and it is very useful to track projects. Also setting automatic actions like notifications for reminders/chasers, automations on sheet that reflect into other sheets or in automatic dates calculations and much more!
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be great to have smartsheet more integrated with an AI to make the process of linking sheets or even making reports in a less manual way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having all dates and tracking of projects in one place and be able to make it accesible to other users that need updates.

It`s solving time plan preparation problems and project tracking. It`s beneficially that I can share my project data with all team members.
