Easy wel organised process and digitalisation tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and to develop some processes
What do you dislike about the product?
Not enough functionalities to make some more specific processes

Role level sucerity processes that can be structured by smartsheet workflows
An excel upgrade for project management
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to use many features that excel uses is really helpful so that you can get up to speed easily with smartsheet. Linking sheets together is easier and really useful for pulling data together.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not the most attractive software to use, and I have struggled to pull together meaningful reports on the progress of the project. Potentially due to the complexity of the project, but it does not seem intuitive to easily pull together information for a dashboard. Also the license structure means that not all team members have been given licenses due to the cost, which means that I have to update on rows, rather than the team being able to do it themselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is providing an easy way to track actions and tasks for the project and reminding those with actions to complete them. This enables me one place to run through the actions and the team to update on progress.
Easy to use, quick to develop and powerful automations
What do you like best about the product?
Was easy to transfer from a spreadsheet which was clunky and difficult to include automation to a multi sheet automated 'project' allowing us to manage our workload with request forms, automated responses at progress status changes and completion actions. Managing our workload, resource allocation and integration to Google Sheets means we can keep in control of our workload and get notification of new requests without having to filter out emails and ad-hoc messaging. This saves us significant time and effort and keeps everything in one place and gives the teams outside of ours one common place to request something.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is the speed the automations take to trigger and the need to hit "Save" before you close the screen, we're used to a different piece of software where automations ran immediately and no need to save, all changes were saved instantly, before we dropped back to spreadsheets and then fortunately into Smartsheet later on. Just takes a little time to get into the habit that's all though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to Smartsheets work requests would be via email, chat or a phone call, now we direct everyone to the correct form and the work load stages are managed and automated after that. Notification to the requestor would be ad-hoc, now the automations standardise progress updates and completion notifications saving us time.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it serves the purpose for our users. It seems that it is fit for our purposes and fills a gap in our technology needs
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the admin interface and the general way it works where IT staff do not have visibility of what sheets exist or the ability to see who administers them a bit confusing. We often get users asking us to give them access to a sheet and I cannot do it, I also can't even refer them to the actual sheet owner because I cannot see that it exists.

I was not involved in the decision making process for this so I am unsure of what exactly most of our users use it for

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to house data amongst several parties and the backwards compatibility for our other end user platforms. Very easy to use and workable for multiple platforms

The data limit is an issue, but also we house a large amount of data and can be expected

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet offers a familiar spreadsheet-like interface with powerful automation, collaboration, and reporting capabilities. It’s incredibly easy to onboard teams and scale across multiple projects. Features like conditional formatting, automated reminders, and real-time updates make managing tasks and timelines much more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it’s a great platform overall, the mobile interface can be a bit limited and some advanced features require a learning curve. Also, licensing and access management can get complex in larger teams without clear user-role strategies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping solve several key problems around project visibility, collaboration, and workflow automation.
It centralizes project planning, task tracking, and reporting in one platform, which reduces the need for endless email threads and version control issues with spreadsheets. For me and my team, this has resulted in better cross-functional coordination, faster decision-making, and fewer missed deadlines. The ability to automate alerts, approvals, and updates ensures that nothing falls through the cracks and keeps everyone accountable.
Additionally, features like dashboards and resource views provide leadership with real-time insights, which helps in proactive management and improves stakeholder confidence. Overall, Smartsheet allows us to manage complex project portfolios with ease and clarity.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Smartsheet is its flexibility in adapting to different project management styles while maintaining a user-friendly interface. This makes it easier to maintain visibility, manage dependencies, and ensure accountability, especially in complex or cross-functional projects. Furtheremore, it is very easy to learn thanks to their community. I use it every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform offers many advanced features, some of them require a learning curve or more technical knowledge, which might be a barrier for less experienced users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solves key challenges like project visibility, team collaboration, and task automation. It helps keep everyone aligned by centralizing information and reducing delays through real-time updates. Its automation features save time by handling repetitive tasks like reminder, progress monitoring and report.
General Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to collaborate and set permission levels, very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to auto refresh, we have a TV we use for our live schedule and it randomly refreshes or I manually do it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to store completed work photos, it's great to refer to when we have questions on previous builds.
Great Program
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to create Gantt charts. Also, the indent feature is a nice visual for distinguishing sub-tasks from the main one. Finally, it makes sharing the information easy among colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
A multi-tab option would be helpful for large projects so they can be broken up by area, but the users can still quickly review the project as a whole.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a quick and easy platform for the creation of Gantt charts and to help manage project timing and deadlines.
