Excellent tool for a creative agency
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of use and the ability to create a bank of templates. The system has been easy to integrate within our workflows and is frequently used for all our brand, website, app and campaign projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using the predecessor can be a little clunky at times, but I suspect this is more user dysfunction than the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to Smartsheet, we used Excel and Google Sheets. Smartsheets allows us to collaborate and share templates. It's a professional-looking system when sharing project management and task timelines with clients and suppliers

It’s easy to use, flexible, and great for keeping track of tasks and projects. I like that I can automate reminders and share updates with my team quickly.

Some features can be hard to find at first, and setting up complex automations takes a bit of time to learn.

Smartsheet helps me keep projects organised, track progress in real time, and improve team collaboration. It saves time by reducing manual updates and makes it easier to meet deadlines.
User-friendly and valuable tool in our day-to-day operations
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is great for cross-functional collaboration, it serves as a shared platform where teams can update statuses, assign tasks, and comment directly on items. This has cut down on emails and made it easier to manage timelines and schedules. It also allows us to log and organise batch records and product files, available for the whole team to view with ease and log any changes to current specifications. Great platform, would highly recommend it to any business!
What do you dislike about the product?
While powerful, Smartsheet can be complex for setting up manufacturing workflows, it takes time and internal effort to build sheets that reflect our processes, traceability needs and production tracking. As you grow and introduce more SKUs, we've found that some larger sheets can be slow to load, especially with heavy formulas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Smartsheet, we relied heavily on emails across departments. This often left to missed updates, version control issues and delays. With Smartsheet, everyone now works form a shared platform where tasks, timelines and status updates are visible in real time. This has significantly reduced communication breakdowns, and improved cross-functional coordination.

What do you like best about the product?
The easy of use, the possibility of connecting sheets, the history tracking of each cell and modification of the sheets, the scalability, the access control, the dashboard customization, the possibility allow several people to use the platform at the same time

the lack of ease in moving between folders and subfolders, especially in heavily tree-lined structures and when creating links or saving copies of new sheets

smartshhet is making the interface more and more user-friendly by also including features in the sheets that are very useful for tracking and customising the them

Its very simple and clear, access to all information necessary can be found with just few clicks.

However it's extremly handy, it can be slow at times.

Anything really, business forms, Qa's, subcontracotrs list, contact lists.
A comprehensive tool for seasoned PM yet super easy for newbies!
What do you like best about the product?
A complete tool for PM, easy to use. Smartsheet also has many templates, tutorials, and ideas for automation and reporting, making life simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not the most intuitive tool, the UI can be improved.

Smartsheet helps solve the challenge of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, tasks, and timelines in a centralized and transparent way. It replaces scattered spreadsheets, emails, and status meetings with real-time updates, task assignments, and automated workflows. This has improved team accountability, reduced manual follow-ups, and saved us time by streamlining project tracking and reporting—all in one platform.

I love how Smartsheet combines the familiarity of spreadsheets with powerful project management tools. The automation features, like reminders and approval workflows, save me hours every week. It's also great for collaborating across teams—everyone can see updates in real time.

While Smartsheet is powerful, the learning curve can be steep for new users—especially those not familiar with spreadsheets or project management tools. Some advanced features like cross-sheet formulas or automation rules could be more intuitive or better documented. Also, performance can lag slightly when working with very large sheets.

What do you like best about the product?
The interface makes it easy to create and modify sheets. I enjoy the library of templates as it makes it easy to find the right sheet for each project. The reports are also very professional-looking and easy to share.

Smartsheet falls short in tracking user revisions effectively. Despite this limitation, SmartSheet remains a solid choice for teams seeking accessible cloud-based project management solutions.

We use Smartsheet for our Marketing Annual planning to track and organize our key marketing initiatives, campaigns, and deliverables throughout the year. It helps us maintain clear visibility into project timelines, dependencies, and resource allocation. The collaborative features allow our team to work efficiently together while keeping everyone aligned on priorities and deadlines.
Great tool for running projects
What do you like best about the product?
I love the flexibility of Smartsheet when running my projects. It allows multiple participants to access the same project plan, and I can connect other sheets to it. Participants can write feedback or add attachments. Additionally, the forms work very well for users who are not technology savvy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Formulas are not easy to master in Smartsheet. Although I use MS Excel formulas often, I find them difficult to master in Smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project collaboration is central to keeping my projects on time. Smartsheet is an effective way for me to keep all stakeholders in sync on communication.
