Fantastic tool to help focus delivery efforts
What do you like best about the product?
Really insightful levels of data, from broad levels like overall department focus to specific sprint insight. Super easy to use and navigate and implmentation at both companies I've employed it was simple and straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not a lot to dislike. As their roadmap develops it would be nice to see things like Developer Experience be layered against other metrics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps reporting upwards in terms of broader alignment and KPI's, while also helping empower my leaders to work with their teams on improving the more granular areas around sprint delivery and cycle times.
Easy integration and use for git commit tracking
What do you like best about the product?
It was very easy to setup with Git, in order to track metrics between it and Jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can be a bit more intuitive, add some AI somewhere.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping produce critical metrics around the software development lifecycle, improving lead time of value adds.
A feature-rich eng mgmt platform used daily by roles across our whole org.. recommend!
What do you like best about the product?
- The investment analysis has transformed how we track where engineering time/cost is being spent and helps us to correct when we are not hitting our set targets.
- The go to tool for many roles at our org to track initiatives, team health, investment analysis, team/individual performance, team goals, development/delivey metrics. The list can go on...
- I often think it would be nice if the tool had xyz and then within not much time that feature/enhancement appears. This tells me they understand the market extremely well.
- Everyone I have spoken to at JellyFish has been super helpful, open to feedback and reach out to get us involved in early feature releases and community intiatives (Lane, Sydney, Kevin, Isabella, Duncan, Sam, Glenn, Alexa, Kristen to name a few).
- Removed our organisations need for tableau and expensive Jira data connectors as all the metrics we need are in the tool.
- Removed our organisations need for manual DevEx surveys with the new DevEx feature. This is a great feature they recently released and the UI for the analsis is amazing.
- They have built a community which we can access where JellyFish customers support each other around how to get the best out of the platform.
- Actionable and clear faqs/support articles.

What do you dislike about the product?
- In the early days when we started using JellyFish we had to reach out to make config changes. This has definetly been noticed as more and more is becoming self configurable.
- Some teams use slack, other teams use email to reach out. It would be nice if they consolidated their communication channels

A collaborative experience!
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of integration. Once connected, it is incredibly simple to link/sync Jira Projects to Jellyfish.
The level of customer support during the implementaiton stage was excellent. Very happy.

What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to use more than 1 Jira Issue Type within a CAPEX report. It would be useful to add multiple.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CAPEX Reporting. Fully autoamted now, wonderful!
Great product with a few caveats
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to get going and find metrics that I care about. We have found it good for comparing teams, so we can sometimes show our engineers how other teams are doing and that prompts a whole bunch of discussions. Also, not directly related to Jellyfish, but they have great webinars.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are many junk metrics that I would like to get out from the way. There are a few bugs and apparently no way to easily report them. And it would be great to have the metrics directly on a Confluence page with a filter. The UI keeps changing, which sometimes makes sense, but also breaks things and adds to cognitive load. Also, when looking at metrics, if there is an option to view metrics by Sprint, why I always have to select also dates? That seems counter-intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I get metrics easily to present to teams and then talk with them what we want to change. We have seen great increases in productivity and our ability to respond to change.
Great tool for devs and dev teams to understand productivity, velocity and where you, your team or organization spend time
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the AI Impact option, however I don't know how well my team is using it at this point. Will look to add it soon
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe I missed it, but it would be great to be told about these new features! I didnt see communication about the AI impact stuff, which would be great for our stats
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Starting to get standards set and making sure I'm keeping up with my MRs or MR reviews

What do you dislike about the product?
Initial setup and learning process is a bit challenging
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps with aggregating data into digestable pieces for mgmt to review.
Usable and detailed
What do you like best about the product?
It is very helpful for the predictivity and metrics analysis of the team, the visibility of the work that is being developed is always very helpful and with this tool is something that can be obtained accurately.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, Jellyfish doesn’t allow me to compare my performance against others in similar roles outside of my organization, leaving me curious about how I fare on a global scale.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To have visibility of the work being done.
Great tool, better efficiency

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really, as I am just getting into using the tool. A few areas so far, but Imay need to just learn more...
Calendar integration
Agility with modeling and reporting data (some of this is how tickets are structured)
Ability to, using surfaced data issues, improve data hygiene

Valuable Insights for Product Management
What do you like best about the product?
Having high level reporting on business objectives allows for valuable insight to help steer our product strategy so that we can keep a real-time pulse on what is currently in development and make more educated decisions faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of a learning curve to where everything is located. I find I do a lot of clicking on the wrong tabs and pages when looking for a specific report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Investment in different company and product goals.
