  • October 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jellyfish provides a great set of features, dashboards, and metrics to help you be on top of your engineering and product operations.
Without it, you stitch 10 tools togetter and fight multiple custom integrations.
With it, you have a single pane of glass view for your engineering and part of the product ops.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can feel a bit cluttered as a lot of things are packed into a single interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides visibility to a lot of engineering metrics, which helps to be on top of engineering excellence and performance measurement.

I appreciate its team pulse feature, which helps in reviewing stuck pull requests and tickets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jellyfish lacks integration with the Outlook calendar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use this to track my time, which makes it easier for me to generate reports when needed. It helps in tracking bug to feature ratio to analyze where the issue lies, either with requirements or implementation.

It's not just a tool, it's insight.

What do you like best about the product?
First, it's an easy and relatively intuitive tool to get acquainted with. I feel like a kid in a candy store exploring the different lenses through which I can view our work. It has made me very curious about the way in which we do work. As we become stronger with Jellyfish, we're able to ask better questions and experiment with our options, and we're able to see what comes of it very quickly! Second, the support has been outstanding. Andrey has been utterly patient as I pepper him with questions, and has consistently guided me to the answers I need. Third, Jellyfish University has been very helpful, especially the lessons that help with diagnostics. It's an excellent, effective resource and makes me feel like the Jellyfish team is invested in our success (which is very refreshing)!
What do you dislike about the product?
First, dislike is too strong a word. There's nothing I dislike - at least not yet!
The learning curve is real but again, the tool is intuitive and once you get a toe hold in even one aspect, additional understanding comes quickly if you put in the effort. (Isn't that just the nature of operations, though?) I'd also like to see roll-up reports to the executive level, and I'd like additional, diagnostics-oriented JF University training. For teams that have no history in observing how they work, it's a real necessity to help them understand that this is intended to be used by them (or their leaders, anyway) as an aid, and as a way to align, and yes, protect, their team. Our greatest challenge hasn't been learning the tool, but gaining traction internally. I would also like a report that shows who's logged in and who hasn't. Maybe that exists at the administrator level, but I suspect some of those complaining the loudest haven't spent much time in it.

I would also REALLY like to see more robust planning options to give teams better long-term insight into how realistic their plans are, especially with regard to pulling in dependencies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The primary issue it's helping us solve, or at least shed light on, is how much work we do that doesn't pertain to our stated priorities. We're still straightening out some of our data issues - JF has highlighted anomalies we hadn't know about - and seeing, for example, the lifecycle report or CapX reports has swung us around. It's also highlighting how misaligned certain groups are, whether internally or across teams. For example, we've uncovered some significant misalignment with leaders that we might not have realized without the data from JF.

Easy to use tool, offers great insight into how the organization and each team is performing

  • September 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Love the visibility the tool provides and how easy it is to use!!! We are able to look at each team more objectively. Each team has the same metrics, with some variance based on the way the teams work (scum, scrumban, kanban, etc) . I love that the tool keeps improving at a pretty rapid pace, and they are so welcoming of ideas and feedback to make Jellyfish even better! The support team is super helpful, and communicates well as they work to resolve issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the teams don't like the visibility.... Also, managers have a lot on their plate and may not be leveraging the tool as effectively as they can so I wonder if we are getting as much value as we could be (but that is on us, not JF).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
helping teams with accountability. We have great baseline data so when teams want to change up how they work, they have lots of flexibility as long as they are improving metrics and not going backward. Also, giving us insight into how well our AI tools are working for us (or not), giving us better insight to make decisions.
When we aren't actively looking at Jellyfish data sometimes the teams aren't as diligent about delivering upon their commitments. Jellyfish has helped us to improve our predictability with the level of visibility/transparency

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to see metrics for the whole team but also individual.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the UI gets confusing to find the right information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility on DORA metrics, and how engineers are working in general (PR merge time, etc)

    Translation and Localization

Great functionality with simple yet powerful design

  • September 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There is a good selection of various metrics and dashboards, which helps me identify areas where our work can be improved. The platform offers great functionalities within a fairly intuitive interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to say for sure, but I think improved integration with Intellij Junie, if that's possible, would be a great addition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me in unblocking my team members in their daily challenges but also helps me to find places where we are stuck or what is our bottleneck which we should analyse during Retros.

    Accounting

A very useful tool for management and analysis

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Jellyfish is the ease of use and the clarity with which it presents information. It allows for better visibility of projects, facilitates integration with other tools, and helps make data-driven decisions quickly. Additionally, its interface is intuitive and customer service has been very efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the platform in general is very comprehensive, I believe it could improve in terms of the customization of some reports and dashboards. At times, it can also take a while to load when handling a large volume of data. However, these are minor details compared to the advantages it offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jellyfish helps us gain greater visibility over development projects, identifying where resources are invested and how they align with business objectives. This allows us to better prioritize, optimize time, and make more strategic decisions.

Effortless AI Usage Tracking with Minor Hiccups

  • September 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy and straightforward Jellyfish is to use, with a UI and user experience that's very clear and precise. It's efficient in tracking AI usage and gives a descriptive yet clear view of data. I really appreciate how I can see my team's AI usage in real-time, which is very helpful. The setup was also very easy to understand, despite not having formal training on it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the AI usage doesn't get tracked properly, even if it's used continuously for many hours or a full day. I've noticed this happens rarely, like once a month, but it's still frustrating when the entire AI usage data is skipped.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jellyfish to track employees' AI usage across multiple coding agents like Copilot and Cursor, giving us a clear view of usage by department. It solves the problem of improper tracking by providing real-time AI usage data, making the process easy and straightforward.

Making data-driven decisions with Jellyfish!

  • August 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I value most about Jellyfish is the impact it generates through its data. Recently, we conducted a general review of what it has meant to have this tool in our organization, and we reached a conclusion: "As Jellyfish grows, so do we." This phrase sums up the growth that has been brought to us by being able to understand the industry through the information Jellyfish provides us.

Today, we find great value in understanding how our investment is distributed, what the health of our teams is, and how to approach 1:1 conversations with our engineers by relying on frameworks like SPACE. All of this allows us to make higher-level decisions, guiding the organization towards measurable goals, always with the well-being of our collaborators at the center.
What do you dislike about the product?
As an opportunity for improvement, it would be valuable to have more options to build custom reports and to apply filters to metrics based on the configured work categories.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jellyfish helped us in an incredible way to have visibility of project costs. Before, we based our analyses on subjective variables like story points, but today we feel confident in the data we obtain from the tool. As a result, we have identified features that could add value to us, which I left in previous comments.
