Productive and Insightful Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Jellyfish provides clear visibility into project progress, team performance, and resource allocation. The dashboards are intuitive, and the analytics help make data-driven decisions faster. It’s also easy to integrate with other tools we use, which streamlines our workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the loading times can be slow when handling large datasets, and certain customization options for reports are limited. It would be great to have more flexibility in tailoring the visuals and filters to match specific needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jellyfish helps us centralize project tracking and align engineering work with business priorities. It gives us real-time visibility into progress, workload distribution, and delivery timelines, which improves planning and prevents bottlenecks. As a result, we can make informed decisions faster, keep projects on track, and optimize our team’s efficiency.
Robust Tool for Project Tracking and Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Jellyfish provides visibility into areas not always apparent in daily operations, allowing us to pinpoint actionable process improvements. The individual metrics are very useful for one-on-ones with developers, helping identify areas for improvement. I love how it integrates well with AI tools like cursor and Copilot, helping track usage statistics and throughput metrics. Jellyfish is extremely beneficial for estimating delivery times and understanding the impact of changes in project scope.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would make navigation between Jira and Jellyfish a little smoother. Sometimes I think I'm going to click in to see an issue in Jira from Jellyfish, and there are multiple screens in between that view that I don't expect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jellyfish improves project estimates, delivery times, and process visibility, enhances scenario planning, and identifies actionable fixes in workflows. It integrates seamlessly with Jira, tracking metrics effectively, and helps in adapting AI tools by showcasing impacts on cycle times.
Insightful and Effective Tool for Engineering Management
What do you like best about the product?
Jellyfish provides clear visibility into engineering operations, helping us align team efforts with business priorities. I especially appreciate the detailed metrics on engineering allocation and delivery trends. The dashboards are intuitive and the reporting features make it easy to communicate progress with stakeholders. It's been instrumental in driving data-informed decisions for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform is powerful, the initial setup and integration with some engineering tools took longer than expected
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jellyfish helps solve the challenge of understanding how engineering teams are spending their time and whether those efforts align with company priorities. It brings transparency to engineering operations, making it easier to identify bottlenecks, track delivery performance, and allocate resources effectively. As a result, we’re able to prioritize better, improve team efficiency, and have more informed conversations with leadership based on real data instead of assumptions.
Great for understanding where engineering effort is spent
What do you like best about the product?
Jellyfish provides the visibility we need for understanding where our development teams are spending their time. It has also helped us to be more aware of JIRA data hygiene, and following best practices for ensuring work items and code PR reviews are properly connected. Equally for managers such as myself, the tool provides a wealth of information for informing individual discussions with team members too.
The scenario planner helps with estimating projections for likely work completion - thereby taking some of the 'guesswork' out of this. This helps inform stakeholders such as product managers as to likely delivery.
The tool is generally easy to use, one of the key aspects during my evaluation and eventual selection of Jellyfish was that it provides the ability to drill into any chart or metric to see the constituent data. The DevEx aspect for gathering information on the 'qualitative' aspects of how development teams work i.e. their 'feeling' about efficiency and good process is up and coming (its not yet as strong as some competitor tools I evaluated) - but this is more than enough for our needs, considering our initial engineering focus is predominantly on quantitative aspects - which is where Jellyfish excels.
Their customer support team is very responsive to any queries or issues, and having a dedicated person as point of contact for advice has been very helpful for us to try and get the most out of the tool.

What do you dislike about the product?
A couple of features we'd like to have:
- ability to set 'alerts' for specific thresholds e.g. 'large' PRs, though some of the other things we'd be interested in have been covered by the recent Team Pulse feature
- integration with Microsoft 365 calendars (currently only Google is supported)
- integration with HR systems, to pull in team structures & reporting lines

Helps me focus and grow, without extra work
What do you like best about the product?
Jellyfish has been a quiet win not only for our leaders and strategic decision makers but also for me as an engineer. It gives clear insights into how we work, what are the focus areas, strengths and improvement potentials, AI impact, and how we compare to various benchmarks. What I really like is how it even connects my work to broader goals, which is motivating. And since everything’s automated, I can stay focused on coding.
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes a bit to get used to the visibility, but it’s worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jellyfish solves the problem of visibility and alignment, and it also helps me see how my work contributes to broader goals.
A world of opportunities
What do you like best about the product?
Jellyfish allows the user to easily highlight areas for improvement. The information itself has high value, but how Jellyfish presents it is the multiplier factor.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have comparative metrics among the team members from different perspectives, including the classic user points.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't understand the question, I prefer not to answer.
High level Technology Management Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Jellyfish enables smarter decisions, faster execution, and greater confidence in managing technology initiatives through a seamless, AI-enhanced experience. It is easy of use througt the several number of features that has. The integration is also easy to set and it falicilitates that the users increment the frequency of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
To obtain benefits from Jellyfish is required a lot of time to ensure the correct implementation. But after all, the tool works alone and the customer support is faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its greatest strength lies in how it leverages artificial intelligence to optimize project cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. This capability allows leaders and teams to make informed, timely decisions based on reliable and dynamic data.
What truly stands out is the platform’s ability to simplify complex information and transform it into actionable insights. Generating reports for strategic, tactical, and operational audiences is not only fast but also incredibly intuitive. This makes Jellyfish a valuable tool for organizations aiming to align technology investments with business objectives and improve visibility across their project portfolios.

Insightfull tool
What do you like best about the product?
Whether you’re an Engineering Leader, Manager, or Developer, Jellyfish offers valuable insights. The AI Impact feature is a great starting point to understand how AI is transforming the way R&D teams work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Interface is overly dynamic, creating a distracting experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jellyfish helps answer the critical question of investment allocation. We all need to understand where our time and focus are truly going.
Great too that offers lots of visibility into my Dev costs
What do you like best about the product?
Great Dashboards and also ways to customize my reports. Integration into Jira and Github
What do you dislike about the product?
In my case, it is a minimal thing. When calculating my Capitalizable percentages, they are based on FTE instead of cost, and I can't change that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility into where my investment in Dev is being spent
