What do you like best about the product?

I think there are no dislike for me because it fullfilled my purpose of using
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GitGuardian tackles the problem of unintentional leaks of sensitive information within your code. This can include things like API keys, access tokens, passwords, and other credentials. These leaks can happen accidentally when developers commit code containing this information to a version control system like Git.

A really usefull security net
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how GitGuardian quickly update me about potential security risks in my repo.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. It is easy to use, the UI is intuitive. I recommend it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Git Guardian is like an assistant keeping an eye on potential secret leak or vulnerabilities.
Great security tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's FAST! All my security incidents were detected and reported immeadiatly after the source code was pushed to the remote repository. It's very handy and a must-have tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far it has been great. I have no complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to keep my secrets safe and to take action as soon as anything is exposed by accident.

I love how fast gitguardian is able to detect secrets and accidental exposures in my github

Very helpful to keep your secret for being exposed and when it exposed you get alerts fast have integration for discord easily with webhooks and this is great 💯

There is nothing really I can say about the dislike maybe I cannot pay for it cause I'm a freelancer but it's not an issue cause Ill never get over the budget or I just use it for free at the moment

Is it great to give me notification if I revealed any secret and even before pushing to my repo there is a version to alert you before when I tegrating it into your repo I guess

Instant notification on (usually inadvertant) sharing of sensitive data. It is easy to use (i dont think you have to do anything except enable it).
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Its free and it works. No effort to use.

Secret management - provides a reliable detection against inadvertant disclosure.

What do you dislike about the product?
As much as I appreciate GitGuardian's security features, I find the user interface a bit challenging to navigate at times. It could benefit from some streamlining to make the experience more intuitive. Additionally, it would be helpful to have the option to remove commits directly within the platform, rather than having to resort to external tools or commands. Despite these minor inconveniences, GitGuardian remains a crucial asset in safeguarding our repositories.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GitGuardian automatically scans my code for secrets like API keys, passwords, and other credentials. This prevents me from unknowingly committing them to a public repository, which could be disastrous.

What do you like best about the product?
I once deployed the entire secret file (.env) of a company to github and did not know for few months until GitGuardian was enabled and helped me discovered the mistake that was made.

Nothing at the moment. It seems to be doing its job pretty well

Primarily, it is to review my code
Very useful for the ones conscious about code security
What do you like best about the product?
It checks automatically all vulnerabilities, password, api keys saved in the code, giving us a hand on checking our resources details on publised code. Also it works also for gitlab and bitbucket.
What do you dislike about the product?
As far as I know there is no drawback, nothing to complain so far
