A strong & trustworthy tool
What do you like best about the product?
Having the smart inbox makes it incredibly easy for a social media manager to monitor and respond to all comments and mentions of your brand/business. It's a key part of how my company keeps engagement up with customers and industry professionals.
The reporting is also very helpful, and the ability to create custom reports that are tailored to what your business cares about most (in terms of goals/KPIs) is beneficial for efficient reporting on a monthly basis.

What do you dislike about the product?
It does pull in ad performance sometimes when I'm trying to isolate organic performance. I'd love it if that could be fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the two main tasks that can be overly time consuming...
1) Social mentions
2) Analytical reporting

Sprout Publishing + Sprout Advocacy User
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout is super user friendly, easy to learn. Plus, they are good about keeping the platform updated to reflect changes (new features, removed features, etc.) that the social platforms make that affect publishing/reporting/listening. Their upgraded listening and reporting features that come at an additional cost are well thought-out and highly useful, if you have the budget.
Their social Advocacy platform is one of the best I've ever used - easily right click on a live post from the Sprout Publishing Calendar to push it to Advocacy for editing and sharing - and the live post looks exactly like it would if you'd Reposted it natively (LinkedIn). Advocacy reporting is fairly robust as well, and love the e-newsletter option to keep Advocacy users engaged.

What do you dislike about the product?
Previews in the publishing view are often inaccurate. Cost of platform has increased significantly over the last two years, making it no longer an option for a lot of smaller social teams/orgs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social is helping me manage outbound content and it's ideal timing, as well as managing our employee advocacy efforts - and allocating a dollar value (earned media value) for our efforts to share with leadership.
Stellar Software
What do you like best about the product?
I love Sprout's ability to help me set up my entire social calendar with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Sprout's reporting tools were more comprehensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When to post my posts.
Comprehensive Reporting Tools, Needs Real-Time Update
What do you like best about the product?
I use Sprout Social for social media, and it really helps with organization, specifically in scheduling and reputation management. I like the reporting capabilities because they are very detailed, allowing me to pull anything in any way to help me understand trends. I also appreciate that it offers more reporting capabilities and serves as an all-in-one hub, which was a big reason for switching from other tools like Birdeye and HubSpot.
What do you dislike about the product?
When reviews get deleted, they don't delete out of Sprout Social and it can cause reporting errors. It should be more integrated and real-time, I guess, not sure what causes it not to be updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to organize social media scheduling and manage reputation. Its detailed reporting helps me understand trends, but deleted reviews can cause errors. It's an all-in-one hub that offers more reporting capabilities.
Essential social media tool
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social makes managing multiple social media accounts easy and actionable. The insights I gather from the platform inform what type of content I create, what our customers are saying, and perhaps most importantly, what activities we should stop doing. It is easy to use and a tool I access every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
The basic features are excellent, but many of the larger modules are expensive add-ons that I find can be cost prohibitive. Navigating through the platform, you will encounter many areas that are not included in the subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking all the social media conversations that are relevant to our brand and capturing them in one place so we can engage with our customers and tell our story more effectively.
Great cross-post platform

Ability to cross-post across different social platforms
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be costly, especially considering there are free platforms to choose from

It allows us to schedule in advance and pull charts that are beneficial for board review.
Sprout is a great business tool
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout has made my team more efficient and makes reporting easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do think they could build out the reporting features a bit more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The inbox makes it easy to respond to customers. The publishing features make it easy to schedule across multiple channels and coordinate with multiple internal teams.
Sprout Social Is a comprehensive optimized workflow social media management platform.
What do you like best about the product?
1. The comprehensive nature of Sprout makes it one of the best platforms to sue for social media management. There are literally so many options to choose from in every area: publishing, the instagram feed preview, competitor analytics etc. While being comprehensive it is not too difficult to learn. Within one or two weeks I was using a majority of the features and within a month nearly all.
2. The Workflow: the approval process workflow is great for my use because it allows my team to plug and play and then I can simply review and edit and then approve!
3. The Competitor Analysis is quite comprehensive. I can see exactly which of their posts are performing well and which ones aren't at a moment's notice. I can choose to view one competitor at a time or a collection or them all.
4. Integrations: Sprout integrates fairly well with our project/team management software.
5. Segmentation: It is easy to assign one person to only one account and ensure the safety of other accounts. Managing a team that is assigned to different accounts and folders is a breeze. The business plan we are using allows everyone who needs it to have a seat.
6. It's Plug n Play. We don't have time to sit there and figure out what exactly we need. Sprout is a great plug-n-play comprehensive product. It takes 5 minutes to add a team member or account and you have near instant access to a wealth of data.
Comparison: I have used a few different platforms in the past and Sprout is by far my favorite. I know I keep saying it, but you really can't replace its comprehensive nature. I turn to sprout before I turn to the internal platform metrics.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of our accounts repeatedly get disconnected. And it does take a while to learn how to use it due to its comprehensive nature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Social Media listening is actually really helpful because I can see it in one place without having to switch platforms. Before it was hard to know exactly what hashtags and conversations were happening that we might be able to benefit from.
I had no idea, before Sprout, how my competitors were doing unless I went in and did the math myself (this can take dayssss). With Sprout, I can see it and check it daily against my own accounts and see how and where we might can benefit or even capitalize on what they are doing well and avoid what isn't going well.
