Great product, random glitching

What do you like best about the product?
Really great reporting and reporting capabilities!
What do you dislike about the product?
Lately weve encountered some weird glitching, making tasks take longer. Certain reports won't load or will only load for specific date ranges
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes it very easy to review individual responses from my team members, data gathering for ata glance looks

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Sprout on a daily basis. It is easy to schedule posts for multiple social accounts and few them all at the same time. I also really enjoy the approval feature to submit posts within a team. When I first started using Sprout I was easily transitioned onto the platform and being able to integrate a new software into my daily routine was key in my success.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything I would say that is least helpful but there are a few product features I wish Sprout would offer. I would like to be able to upload a whole folder of images on to the grid planner without having to select a date to have them saved as a draft that way I could build my grid and work backwards with scheduling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social solves the issue of spending time manually posting on our social accounts and using multiple platforms to manage social.

Good platform for social media management

What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling posts is available for multiple social platforms, including Google My Business, and you can see the most active times of day to post down to the minute. It's easy to add links and tag products that are available via our Shopify account. Data for post performance is easy to read. It's easy to reach out via their chat feature to get support if you have a question.
What do you dislike about the product?
I manage 4 different brands, and their posts live on their own calendars. If I want to post something similar between brands, I cannot duplicate the post, I have to copy the text from brand one, open the next brand's profile, paste it in, and reupload the photo. It's not the end of the world, but it would be nice to have all brands be able to live in one calendar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout makes it easy to manage scheduling our posts across multiple social plaforms. It also has great data to be able to look at regarding post performance, and you can create & add tags to your posts (not the same tags as product tags for shopping your post) so that you can see how posts about a "sale" performed vs. a "behind the scenes" vs. a specific product you were asked to promote.

Overall a pretty good platform

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of scheduling and connecting accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could receive customized email reports. I support 6 businesses, yet because I'm part of an organization, I receive reports for many businesses I do not support, making the roll-up reports pretty useless for me.
I also wish I didn't have to toggle between groups to view the dashboards for my businesses in different groups as each time all the parameters I set up reset.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes it easy to schedule out a content calendar and share with the client for review. Analytics are also easy to find.

Does Everything I Need!

What do you like best about the product?
It's so user friendly. I have been able to have people as backups with very minimal training. It's organized well and doesn't get overwhelming. I have implemented this tool at multiple organizations and will continue to based on pricing and ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides as the team makes it very easy to personalize our plan, making adjustments with ease.

What do you like best about the product?
We have a large following, so consolidating our comments and messages from all platforms into one inbox is incredibly helpful. Additionally, we manage several locations, each with its own social media accounts. Being able to post to all of them from a single platform has saved us a significant amount of time and has helped us maintain consistent messaging across locations. The reporting feature provides an accurate and consistent overview of our performance, making it easy to identify popular content that can be repurposed in various ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
-It's pricey, especially if you want to add multiple users.
-Some features implemented on social platforms take a while to reach SproutSocial, if they do at all, so you still need to be actively using each individual platform.
-Comments on older YouTube videos do not show up in the inbox.
-Reporting is limited when it comes to custom tags, even at the Advanced level. I would expect it to be more robust than it is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We manage multiple locations, each with its own social media accounts. Being able to post to all of them from a single platform has saved us a considerable amount of time and has helped us maintain consistent messaging across all locations.

The publishing calendar has made it very efficient to plan, schedule, and publish social media posts across all platforms, and then repurpose content that performs well.

Consolidating our comments and messages from all platforms into one inbox is extremely helpful.

Organization and reporting made easy

What do you like best about the product?
Love being able to post and respond all in the same window. It's a huge help when you are managing several channels. The reporting is top notch as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is the price on extra features like social listening. That's a big component of social management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tagging posts is probably my favorite. I can quickly pull data for different topics without having to search for hashtags or through each post.

Convenience, but not without shortcomings

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to view and reply to comments, and see when we are mentioned (not just tagged!). I also love that for every post, Sprout suggests optimal posting times. As a daily Sprout user, the features are valuable in simplifying my processes where possible. Without Sprout, social media management would take much longer. It helps me keep track of everything, stay organized, and the reports feature is a great add-on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many of the shortcomings of Sprout Social are not easily solvable, as I realize it can be complicated for social apps to allow certain configurations (tagging on LinkedIn, adding an Instagram story, viewing DMs on Instagram, etc.). The apps that do allow integration are great, but it can be difficult to remember what must be done manually.

One of our biggest complaints is that the cost of Sprout continues to increase, and we don't feel like the quality of the product is increasing to match that price. Last year, when we tried to reach out about a sudden price increase, we struggled to get in touch with anyone in customer support soon enough to be able to make a truly educated decision on our plan. We pay a hefty price, and still many of the new features are not usable until we upgrade even more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using the tagging feature, we can pull data as it relates to each department in my organization. This helps us keep track of how different types of posts are performing and let's us know where we are falling short. This data is useful in making cases for more or fewer posts and proves the value of certain departments.

I love how easy it is to use from scheduling posts to gathering data!
What do you dislike about the product?
That there are no more training opportunities to dive deep into learning. Also, Nextdoor is not a platform integrated yet.

Great Tool for Social Media

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Sprout is constantly updating to meet the needs of modern social media, which are always changing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout is a really great tool, but I wish they would open up more of their reporting features to lower tier members. It's not a cheap tool and as a nonprofit, we just can't spend thousands more. I don't like that part of Sprout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest reason I use Sprout is for social media pubslishing and analytics all in one place. I also like the inbox feature.
