Great platform for scheduling and data
What do you like best about the product?
This is a great platform to use in your marketing team for social. It allows you to schedule and view calendar, share access to the calender via a live link with anyone on your team, review data, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
We run two Instagrams where we use the "collaboration" tab frequently to link the two accounts together on one post, and that cannot yet be done within the Sprout platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a way to organize our thoughts around social, plan for the future, schedule posts and track progress. This is helping us to show overall growth and post more consistently.
Makes social media management easy!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the amount of features Sprout Social has. From simple social post scheduling, to AI features for helping to write posts, to tools that make it easy for employees to engage with their social networks, to "link-in-bio" features for Instagram, and more. Sprout Social is a tool that has really been beneficial for our organization because of the wide variety of features they provide.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Sprout Social offers a lot of different features, I do think their features could perform a little better. For example, it would be great if their Instagram scheduling tool would push to Instagram without having to manually do so. However, that may just be an Instagram flaw.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are our sole scheduling tool and reporting tool.
Very Comprehensive, but still needs some work
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout finally allowed us to manage all our channels in one place, track effectiveness, see competitors, and manage multiple brands easily. We can also get much more comprehensive reporting and plan and schedule our posts easily. Onboarding has been comprehensive and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
We were under the impression that social listening and employee advocacy were going to be easily implemented and managed, but so far those two functions (which add a sizeable cost) are not quite as easy to use or comprehensive as we were informed. They have told us that there are many changes on the horizon for those, but it feels a bit like the sales and product teams are not fully aligned.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Sprout Social, we used another provider that had many limitations on which social channels we could manage as well as what types of posts we could manage. So we were using that tool as well as our personal cell phones for other posts. This also means the reporting was very limited. Then you tack on the fact that we have more than one brand to manage and we double our headaches. We were also part of a larger organization with several brands underneath. Each of those brands were leveraging different tools and processes to manage their social media. Now we can do all of that with one tool.
Great platform for multi-tasking social media managers!
What do you like best about the product?
The reporting capabilities are great. I like the use of tags and campaigns to be able to track things easily. The link shortener is really nice, as well. Overall, I like the platform pretty well, but if Sprout made certain updates it would be incredible!
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not as easy for the creative aspect of social media planning. The Instagram Grid Planner needs some work. Also, there isn't any room to add a link when scheduling Instagram stories. This isn't the case with most other social planning tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The scheduler is really great. I also love that you can have multiple users to assist in things like content approval and customer service issues. The tool is very intuitive and I like how well the social listening works.
Efficient Content Scheduling, Needs Improved Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how Sprout Social makes it incredibly easy to schedule content and run extensive reports across our channels. The analytics collection and reporting are streamlined, which is essential for our board that values data-driven insights. I also find the tagging and campaign features particularly effective, especially for organizing content and running detailed reports on campaign performance. Additionally, the platform's ability to edit images directly for correct dimensions is incredibly useful, saving time and effort. Having all our campaign data centralized in one platform simplifies digital advertising, making it efficient to manage numerous channels effortlessly. The seamless integration with Google Drive boosts efficiency, facilitating quick file transfers, which improves productivity significantly. The overall reporting capabilities of Sprout Social enhance our ability to keep everything organized, and seeing results in comprehensive reports is beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found it challenging to connect my paid ad campaigns with Sprout Social. Despite having connected them, it was pretty difficult due to some connection issues which could be improved. Additionally, I would appreciate the ability to perform more comparisons with other channels and content to understand if we're missing out and to get ideas for what kind of content they are doing. Lastly, there are concerns regarding the price and complexity for those who aren't deeply familiar with social media's ins and outs. For such users, the extra tools and price seem unnecessary, and simpler platforms like Meta might be more appropriate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to keep our content organized, schedule duplicates, tag campaign content, and consolidate analytics. It simplifies reporting and improves campaign organization across various channels, proving invaluable for our reporting needs.
Efficient and effective

Platform looks good, capabilities are good, good integration, frequency of use and multi-user friendly

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining proces of posting to social media
Works well on its own
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Sprout integrated with Salesforce Service Cloud daily and it's working well. It works much better on its own without the support of any third party software. Real-time cases flow in immediately without any delay which is the best part of this tool. It has a great UI as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its inability to identify negative alerts and spam. There's a need to additionally add keywords for this requirement. Also, when connected to Salesforce, it fails to display reels and one-time images shared on Instagram DMs, which makes us go back to the native platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The fact that it easily allows integration of Salesforce and helps with case creation.
Great way to reach customers
What do you like best about the product?
I'm really enjoying using sprout social so far. It's very intuative and I especially like being able to search keywords, customers names etc, this is something that was lacking on our previous social platform.
I find the layout to be very straightforward and streamline.

I do find myself having to refresh the page manually so it would be good if it did that a little more often so we're not missing any messages coming through.

Enabling our orgnisation to reach out customers in the fastest most streamlined way possible.
Sprout – Super helpful for scheduling & social organization
What do you like best about the product?
The publishing feature s extremely helpful in scheduling posts ahead of time and seeing the layout of all your posts together over the course of the month. It's extremely easy to use, while robust in its capabilities.
I also think the analytics are super helpful in figuring what's performing for your audience and what's not to be able to adequately pivot content and talk to your audience more efficiently.

What do you dislike about the product?
You cannot add audio that is trending in platform via the platform. You need to go in and do that manually. That is not a streamlined way of working if all your reels leverage trending audio.

Intuitive approach to social media management
What do you like best about the product?
I found Sprout Social's platform easy and intuitive to use. It was simple to set-up and begin using straightaway. I began using Sprout Social to help manage and schedle my posts to multiple social media platforms at once. It was easy to connect my accounts and immediately begin seeing the value of the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of features that Sprout Social offers, which became overwhelming at times. I felt like I didn't tap into the full potential of the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social solves the problem of needing to generate posts for each individual social media platform. Instead I can create one post and use that across all my platforms. It also helps in scheduling and planning my posts, so I can ensure I am posting consistently.
