Stand-out software in a crowded market - works every time!
What do you like best about the product?
We've tried a variety of platforms and software solutions for social media scheduling - from the name brands to more niche, 'independent' type platforms and they have all let us down in one way or another, either through lack of functionality of technical issues. Sprout Social works every time and supports all the tools, platforms and integrations we need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout Social is on the upper end of the market which makes it difficult to justify for clients that are on the lower end of our offerings, which means we are not always able to use Sprout Social for clients on lower packages. Not really a critique of the software, but really is the only 'downside' of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem we were facing was the lack of the correct support for platforms, the lack of an intuitive UI and the incessant technical difficulties we faced with other platforms constantly failing to post scheduled posts on the regular. Sprout Social has resolved those issues.

Sometimes I wish the posts to approve weren't as tall so I could see more on a single page

It's a great tool to queue and schedule all 63 of our accounts

Great social management platform with extensive analytical tools
What do you like best about the product?
Great for businesses of all sizes but personally I think it's one of the most user-friendly and informative ways to monitor your social media channels. I use the scheduling tool to draft and schedule posts. The analytics help monitor follower growth and interactions. The ability to have sub-accounts is also very useful as in my organisation we have different uses for social media accounts i.e. recruitment team respond to direct messages regarding our products while the marketing team would be responsible for organic post interactions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much that I dislike. The only thing that may be useful is the ability to crop images in the post scheduling tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social allows me to plan, draft and schedule posts to go out at different times of the day which means that I don't have to be live posting. The ability to respond to queries across all platforms in place is also very useful as I don't have to jump from one platform to another. Social media analytics is also something that I would have to report on and share with stakeholders which sprout really helps by streamlining the process by consolidating all our platforms.
Great Dashboard
What do you like best about the product?
The organization and ability to find all my scheduled social content easily. I use it for my department and we have about 100 accounts set up and its a great way to schedule my content months in advance and feel at ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
Accounts tend to get disconnected a lot which causes posts not to go out. Also, you are unable to post to Instagrams that are not attached to Facebook pages which makes it inconvenient at times.

Currently on a beta trial for scheduling stories.
The Go-To For Social Reports
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout's reporting tools are really great for seeing an overview of how your social profiles are doing. I also appreciate the community management features and how easy the scheduling is to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe this feature is coming or maybe at a higher level, but I wish I was able to send content for approval to clients through Sprout.
One feature that could be added is an option to schedule the same content across platforms but change the caption slightly for special tagging and such. Right now, you have to duplicate a post and edit it that way.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives me a place to manage different layers of my social media marketing. It's especially helpful for the reporting as I mentioned. Clients love seeing all that detail.
Best Bang for Your Buck
What do you like best about the product?
It's a relatively cheap tool compared to most of the competitors out there. Their support team is unmatched, and I use the chat feature within the tool tons and always get a great response. It has everything I need from scheduling and tagging to reporting and listening.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some customization features I'd like to see, such as being able to select tags in post reports but exclude others that may also be tagged as the initial tag, if that makes sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to tag posts and separate things into campaigns is a great help when it comes to reporting or justifying our work to leadership. Listening is also a great feature to have. Reporting is also a breeze now.
Social Media efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
Love how easy it is to schedule future social media posts. The dashboard is easy to use. Love the ease with which I can approve posts. Works very well for what our business needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I don't like about it. It's a complete system that works flawlessly. I hope it'll continue to add other social media platforms to make it more efficient in posting content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to post on multiple social media outlets all at once. We can help plan posts in the future to maintain what we need to focus on month to month. Because if it, we have been able to connect to more people.
Sprout Social is very user friendly.
What do you like best about the product?
They have content that is easy to use. If the content wasn't specific to my local area, they would be able to create information for my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there would be limited content about something specific, such as annual meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't have a graphics editor on staff, so using Sprout Social is beneficial in not needing to hire a graphics editor.

They are easy to reach and quick to respond to you.

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout's publishing and community management features are great. We recently upgraded to the Advanced tier, and it has changed the game when it comes to community management for us!
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much, but there are some weird UX things that could be improved. The smart inbox is a bit finicky sometimes, but overall fulfills the purpose for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been a game-changer for our community management. We are able to better manage and measure inbounds, and have cut the time spent managing our inbounds in half!

Easy interface, ability to add so many profiles and the easy team collaboration

The things it can't do due to Insta's API restrictions such as story and reel push-throughs

We need to manage the social communities and content creation for 19 clients across 3 different social channels. It's made this as easy as possible.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We would recommend it as an agency solution, as it offers everything you need to successfully run lots of social profiles and undertake community management too. The cost is worth it for us!
