Comprehensive and thorough tool

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout has great tools for social media listening and gathering reports on our social media channels, whether comparing them to each other or diving deeper into a specific channel, specific posts, or other analytics. It's been incredibly helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
Demographic information isn't readily accessible for all channels to the extent that we would like (understandable with different APIs), and some of the functionality within the smart inbox isn't as intuitive as it could be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to schedule all social media content in one place, access all analytics and reports for all channels and content comprehensively, to conduct accurate and widespread social media listening, etc -- being able to do all of these in one place is massively helpful for a small team serving a large institution.

What do you like best about the product?
What's most helpful about Sprout Social is that it actually displays an image of the post it's giving you the statistics on. That is the upside in comparison to other analytic tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because my division/department site is part of a larger organizational structure what's reported on is usually the social media content from our organizations' main page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem it is solving is that most times you don't know who your message/content is reaching if anyone especially when you work in a non sales/non entertainment industry.

A powerful tool that makes social media management easy

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social has made it easy for our team to manage our social media accounts and track their performance. The workflows are helpful for collaboration, and the scheduling tool helps us maximize efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting is incredibly in-depth and can, at times, be overwhelming. There is a bit of a learning curve, but it's a good problem to have when managing multiple social media platforms and accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social makes it easy for team members to collaborate - one person can write and schedule posts and send them for approval. In addition, it's easy to track whether comments or messages have been answered, allowing us to provide excellent customer service even when we're not physically in the same building.

What do you like best about the product?
Listening feature gives us clear and actionable insight on what our customers are saying. We can use this to create content that resonates with existing and new customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because there is so much functionality it can be daunting to switch to, and you may feel that it is not being used to the full potential if you are not able to devote your entire working time to managing it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are new to using it as a platform, but it the immediate instance there are a number of insights around post performance and social listening that are already proving to be a benefit.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that sprout displays all of your social accounts on one calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
It will not left me place a draft on a specific date without submitting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to build out content months in advance and schedule multiple accounts all on one calendar.

Great service for your social media needs!

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it organizes all my social, gives me tools for commenting, listening and, of course, posting. It's a great service that makes my job easier day by day!
What do you dislike about the product?
You get a limited amount of accounts without having to pay a lot more, so that's a little frusterating. Also it can be difficult sometimes to find the page I want (like I'm always trying to search for comments for whatever reason).

Additionally, it will tell me I have an error posting specific images on platform like Instagram or Twitter but then post those same images without issue right from the actual site or app. That's a little annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a platform that would allow me to post everything from one page, monitor social, and respond to comments as they come in. This does all of that for sure.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create content for multiple platforms in one place is a huge timesaver.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of anything but I am getting more email advertising since signing up. Please don't share our email addresses with others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout cuts the amount oc time it takes to create content for multiple platforms.

Very Robust Social Media Tool

What do you like best about the product?
It clearly is a very robust social media tool, it knows what we need and tries to pre-empt the tools/buttons/shortcuts to give us just that without having to go digging for it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit on the pricier side, and the user interface is a bit intimidating for someone who is just starting out. There are a lot of features and such I would like for them to be easier to navigate for a beginner
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We currently don't track our social media analytics in any meaningful way. I started to do that through the individual social media websites, however it is annoying to have to go to different pages once a month. Sprout social keeps everything in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Sprout Social is how easily I can schedule and rearrange social posts. We're always doing new things and with changes coming daily, we need the ability to do that.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Sprout Social is the layout of some of the menu items. I would love a quick-action sidebar or menu where I can "bookmark" different things on Sprout and go to them. Some of what I use is buried in one or two menus and it takes time to get to them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout is helping solve our need to schedule multiple posts and track new and old campaigns in a way that's easy to understand for non-social media users. It's benefiting me because it allows me to set up custom reports that I can send to the team.
