What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is the most comprehensive, overall problem-solving, team-friendly social media platform currently available. It schedules, it edits, it analyzes, it workflows, it does community management, and it's worth every penny.
What do you dislike about the product?
For all these features, the platform can be prohibitively expensive for most small-to-medium agencies or entities. While the features are exhaustive, they aren't perfect; there will always be something missing. Currently, it lacks the ability to post/schedule polls on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook, and as is true with all 3rd parties is beholden to what is available to them via the native platforms' APIs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout helps us schedule approved client posts across all channels, edit when necessary, engage with user interactions across all channels, employ an approval workflow, and track data across all these various needs to present to the client as proof of ROI.
Sprout Social helps me tweak and approve social posts created by a marketing firm for my non-profit.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of access to the site, the calendar
What do you dislike about the product?
Some navigation tools aren't very clear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowing an out-sourced marketing firm to create social media posts for my non-profit with final input and approval from me and another colleague.
Good tool. But can be expensive if you need a lot of seat licenses.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use interface means that I dont need to provide training to each person who joins. Reporting works well and I love the ability to create dynamic report URLs to share with leadership.
What do you dislike about the product?
Seat licensing business model discourages me from adding much of the company to Sprout. Can't schedule a RT or post a tweet thread within Sprout. Permissioning can be confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to schedule and approve social content calendar works well. We can manage multiple social accounts from one interface. Reporting also allows us to get a full cross channel view of all social accounts.
Better than other social media platforms out there
What do you like best about the product?
I still like how user-friendly Sprout Social is and how quickly it processes actions without lag making it easy to move from one comment to the next. I also appreciate the Zendesk integration for streamlining support. Recently, I’ve noticed some great new additions, like AI-powered report summaries, sentiment analysis for comments, and expanded platform integrations, including Threads and WhatsApp. These updates make it even easier to manage conversations, track audience mood, and engage across more channels in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
My work has definitely become easier since we started using Sprout Social, and I honestly can’t think of any major issues. If anything, I’d love to see more customization options in reporting and perhaps more affordable pricing tiers, so smaller teams can access all the advanced features without budget concerns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us with efficiency in timely responding and solving cases. My productivity has improved ever since we switched to Sprout social. There is analytics that is viewable to the user. We've used several social media platforms in the past, and this is far better compared to those.
Good product - but could be improved
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the convenience of having all of my social profiles in one place - especially messages and comments! Additionally, the automation system has made filtering out negativity a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that it's only hosted in-browser. The platform has to load and reload often which can be frustrating when you're trying to do things quickly. I didn't experience this kind of frustration when using Meta, so I wonder if its just a hosting/server issue rather than a platform issue.
Additionally, all of my social engagement has tanked significantly since using Sprout - this could just be a coincidence, but I think it's worth noting.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A bug issue we had before using sprout was streamlining our approval process. It has made it easier to get things approved and have conversations about what needs to be changed/improved about a post. Now, we're able to get posts approved days in advance and really take advantage of optimal posting times.
easy layout
What do you like best about the product?
The calendar for scheduling as well as the ability to separate drafts, unsuccessful posts, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was a point whee sproud did not calculate reels on instagram so any video views or impressions were off because most of the business videos were reels
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout now calculates reels in reports as well as it goes back to about July of 2021 to help track old reports
Sprout Social makes social media planning MUCH easier
What do you like best about the product?
That I can schedule multiple posts on multiple platforms, and see them all laid out in an easy way.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm unable to autopost onto Instagram and Tiktok because of the niche sounds and edits that we use. I also wish there was a way to plan for Instagram based on seeing the IG feed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having 5 accounts that I need to post multiple times to during the day, and saving me time by only living in one website to plan.
Social Media tool, perfect for Social Media Managers
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to do mass scheduling. I add each post one by one but I push it across 6 different platforms at once. I could also upload a csv file to upload all of my posts at once. It makes larger social media projects easy to schedule. I also enjoy the insights and reporting feature. It does a great breakdown of our audience and gives valuable insights so I know how to curate better content based on our current audience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a huge fan of the calendar publishing view. I do with the view looked more like other platforms that break down by social media platform. I also do not like how there are so many extra costs to unlock features such as optimal posting times which are free on other apps. It would be great if there was a way to plan a post across all platforms and upload multiple sizes of the image and change the caption all on one window versus having to go in and add them individually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social is solving the problem of needing to publish across multiple platforms at the same time and push out a lot of content at a time. This is extremely beneficial for my small business as I manage social media accounts and some of my clients have heavy content scheduling loads.
Intuitive, no-nonsense user design
What do you like best about the product?
The strong points about Sprout are intuitiveness and proper ways of following through on each interaction/communication, no matter the channel you're using. It has the proper tools to take your efficiency and reply-time to a new level.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their filtering and analytical tools can use some love and some refurbishing as when compared to any other tools Sprout offers they're falling behind. That's not to say they're useless or unusable, however, they can surely get a much-needed improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It tackles many different problems when it comes to running social media, mainly the focus is obviously on being able to manage everything in one place, thus keeping your reply times low, your customers satisfied and your team members aware of their goals/performance.
Enjoying the experience, and it's making life a lot easier.
What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling posts is extremely simple and easy to make more long-term posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to tag other accounts in prospective Twitter posts so have to manually do on the Twitter app. That, along with collab posts for Instagram is not available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick posts and ability to schedule out as needed. Sometimes native posts will have brief delays and not always go up at the minute stated.
