Seamless Transition to Sprout Social—Intuitive, Powerful, and Game-Changing
What do you like best about the product?
I led the decision to transition from HootSuite to Sprout Social, and it was absolutely the right move. The first thing that drew me in was Sprout Social's interface—it's incredibly clean and intuitive. The calendar view for scheduling is straightforward, and the reporting dashboard is comprehensive without being overwhelming. Everything you need is truly right at your fingertips.
Our main motivations for switching were to expand our advocacy program and to gain access to social listening capabilities. For advocacy, we needed more seats, and Sprout delivered on that front. Beyond just the seat expansion, we benefited from robust reporting features that allowed us to assign a dollar value to advocacy shares, which our leadership team really appreciated. Our advocacy engagement rate has also increased significantly, thanks in part to Sprout's topic curation.
When it came to social listening, we recognized its importance but were concerned it might be complicated to implement. However, Sprout made it simple to set up a social listening topic tailored to our needs. This has not only helped us monitor share of voice but has also become a key part of our Reddit strategy development.
What stood out most for me was the onboarding experience. Jess was fantastic—it's rare for onboarding a new platform to be genuinely enjoyable, but I actually looked forward to our weekly calls. By the end of the process, I felt confident in both the platform and my decision to switch. More importantly, the onboarding introduced me to so many ways to elevate our social media efforts with Sprout's features. We've moved far beyond just scheduling and basic reporting to a much more strategic approach, and since making the switch, all our social KPIs have been trending upward.

Honestly, ever since Sprout enabled scheduling of documents and PDFs for LinkedIn, I haven't found any drawbacks. It's been a seamless experience for me!

This has become an essential part of how we shape our social strategy and monitor share of voice. Sprout Social’s biggest strengths are its intuitive interface and the way it centralizes all key social media workflows in one place. The publishing tools are especially strong, the content calendar is clean, easy to navigate, and makes it simple to plan, schedule, and collaborate on posts across multiple platforms.
The analytics and reporting are another major standout. Sprout provides clear, visually appealing reports that make it easy to understand performance trends and present insights to stakeholders without needing extra formatting or manual work.

Sprout Social helps streamline managing multiple social channels in one place. It makes it easier to plan content, monitor engagement, and generate clear reports without jumping between platforms. The biggest benefit is efficiency—having publishing, inbox management, and analytics all centralized saves time and provides better visibility into what’s working.

I think it is very easy to use and figure out. I think it is broken down and I am able to easily access everything I need it for. Reports, cases, scheduling, unscheduling.

One thing I didn't like in one of the most recent updates was that I can no longer access the cases from my cell phone. I have to log in to the desktop to be able to review those.

I love how well Sprout Social works for the San Diego Association of Realtors. It is an exceptional time saver because we no longer have the time to post natively onto all the social media platforms that we manage, such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. The amount of time saved for my team is truly exceptional. I like the reporting tools Sprout Social offers, which allow me to compare our brand with competitors and condense data that shows engagement metrics. This feature is invaluable for reporting quarterly to our board of directors. The data analytics that the product provides are amazing, offering an unprecedented depth of information through the reporting tools, which surpasses anything I've seen before. I enjoy being able to create different data pulls to analyze engagement levels with our members over various time frames—this can be done instantly. The integration with Canva makes creating and posting social media straightforward and creative, and the initial setup of Sprout Social was very easy. Overall, I find Sprout Social to be a perfect tool for my team and me, and I confidently recommend it to friends and colleagues, giving it a 10 out of 10.

I find it annoying that there are certain features on Sprout Social where I need to use my phone to post. If I don't check my phone or see the notification, I might not know to post. Although this doesn't happen often and isn't a deal breaker, it can disrupt my workflow when it does occur.
