Easiest UI, great customer support, with little room to improve

What do you like best about the product?
It is so easy to use and almost everything you need for publishing is available in the publishing tool. It has the most features out of several SM platform publishers I have used. Customer service is also fantastic. The chat feature helps significantly and everyone is so kind. I also love the FB group community!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no option to add tags on social media posts. I would love to have this option in order to export post reports based on tags. The post analytics also do no differentiate Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn posts that have one photo versus several photos. This metric would be important to understand if our viewers have a preference. I've had a few issues with connectivity to our Instagram as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to identify what kind of content best resonates with our audiences through Sprout Social's reporting and we were able to consolidate the platform from where our agency and we functioned in.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've used around 4 other tools for social media management and this is my favorite.

Best way to get a handle on your social strategies!

What do you like best about the product?
The team is very hands on to help you understand everything about your social insights, and the system is very intuitive and easy to pick up
What do you dislike about the product?
The price can get kind of steep at times, especially if you manage multiple brands and platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems at this point with Sprout! The biggest benefit in my eyes is their smart inbox. It's been the easiest way to manage engaging with followers across platforms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have the budget available, Sprout is definitely worth considering for your social media management. They have a great support team to help you when you have questions, and a ton of integrations to make managing multiple platforms as easy as possible. They also have the easiest scheduling tool I've found thus far, so I can set up posts and get them off my plate to spend more time diving into things like analytics.

There is a price tag attached to using this, like many other platforms. What you pay is what you get and with Sprout, you really do get a ton. BUT if you're on a tight budget, Sprout might not be for you. It could be worth using their trial feature to see how their tools improve your work efficiency, then determine if it's something you can make room in the budget for.

Overall, it's a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to automate their social media efforts a bit more!

What do you like best about the product?
Our team benefits most from the analytics dashboard available as well as the publishing calendar. When managing 40+ Facebook pages it's helpful to see what's going out in one concise location. It also aids in making changes quickly before a post is published. Social listening has been incredibly valuable to our team as well in particular during the COVID-19 pandemic. Being able to have a pulse on the public's opinion has helped us tremendously as we respond to the patient's needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that the listening could be more tailored to our specifications, some phrases and locations do not respond providing us with inapplicable communications. I also would love to see listening expand towards Facebook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to grow our scheduling abilities and with the support of the publishing calendar, keep our finger on the pulse.

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social offers unparalleled report customization that improves daily workflow and monthly KPI tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout Social sometimes lacks key publishing tools on desktop such as carousels and stories for Instagram.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to adjust and improve social strategies daily with the Listening and Reporting tools. Responding to customers has been easier than ever with the Smart Inbox feature.

What do you like best about the product?
The reporting features are great. They are in-depth while also easy to understand for company stakeholders outside the Marketing team. Being able to build out our content calendar with the scheduling tools are also great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited thumbnail capabilities when scheduling videos on Twitter and LinkedIn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving time posting. Consistent posting schedules.

Be sure to have your customer success rep do a demo, and continue to reach out to them after you're set up!

Sprout has been a life saver!

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout has been a life saver for our social media team. As a global company, it's great to have a calendar where we can see everything being published and plan the week for each social network. We use the tool for everything including publishing, monitoring, listening, and pulling reports to see the success of campaigns. Reports are digestible and the best part is not everyone needs a login to review the report. I also enjoy meeting regularly with our sales rep to review new features that are always coming out!
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there could be improvement with the assigning tasks feature. For example, our team assigns DM's to our customer service or Sales team. It would be great to get notified or be in the loop when the task has been taken care of! The new features can be hard to keep up with, but our sales rep does a great job of walking us through anything we need to know.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Sprout Social has allowed collaboration across our global social teams. We're now able to have access to each of the global channels that we wouldn't otherwise be able to view.

The Sprout reports have helped us analyze what content is/is not working for clients.

Sprout Social will make your life so much easier! Set up a walkthrough of the tool with a Sprout Social team member to see all the features and benefits of the tool.

Simple, Supported, Superior

What do you like best about the product?
The user experience is well designed, adding additional profiles is a snap, and the interface and speed far outstrips every competitor I've ever used. The support team (whether through live instant chat or email) is quick to respond, as well as provide meaningful and workable solutions. The cost may be a bit more than some competition but it's worth every dollar.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the scheduling issues like delays, the inability to support GIFs is a *huge* problem as that file type is becoming more and more ubiquitous across social platforms in lieu of full, drawn out text or sentences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an agency, we manage social for dozens of clients across anywhere from one to five channels (including YouTube and Twitter), and Sprout is flexible enough to be able to handle the vastly different types of content we're uploading for our clients on a daily basis. Benefits include streamlining our content production and approval process as well as having clients feel they have full agency in their voice and tone on their social channels.

What do you like best about the product?
Cross-network reporting, single point of truth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asset library is fairly basic and could do with some more attention.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We suffered from a lack of cross-network visibility of the sporadic posting across multiple channels. Through a single point of truth (Sprout) style of reporting, we can quickly surface high-level insights from across our social estates.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ensure the needs you have are met fully by whatever platform you are looking seriously at - there is very little we cannot surface through Sprout Social against our reporting requirements, and we are expanding our provision into the advanced listening tool to allow for more competitor analysis and details tracking/listening.
