Sproutsocial is great but, like many other things in life, it could be better.

What do you like best about the product?
I use it often to create quick reports and of our social media activity. It's handy to have all the metrics in just one board, and the report you can download is clear and comprehensive. Sometimes I use it to schedule posts on Twitter and LinkedIn.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think it's great at social listening. Its hashtag following is quite poor and doesn't say anything relevant about your brand.

I also find the customer service tool confusing. I don't think it's created in a way where you can see all the comments and messages that need to be answered to in a clear way. We started using it but then we gave up, above all now that Facebook lets you schedule content on Instagram too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's very time-consuming to visit the different platforms' reporting tools - the magic of Sproutsocial is having all of them in one board.

I don't like using different tools, so to me, SproutSocial is also great at scheduling posts on those platforms where there isn't a scheduling function, such as Twitter and LinkedIn.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you do it to manage social media, it's always a good idea to add more than one user so different stakeholders can access it and benefit from it.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the aspect of timing your posts for the coming weeks. very handy indeed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the layout could be more user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time consuming. I feel that if the site was more user friendly, it would be quicker to navigate

What do you like best about the product?
I like Sprout Social a lot. It has great publishing features. The platform is very easy to use. I like the calendar layout. The reports of all four social platforms are great. It tracks a lot of metrics. It’s very helpful in evaluating your social media platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like how sprout social doesn’t offer custom dashboards. I also don’t like how it doesn’t let you choose what graphs. It also doesn’t have competitors to compare. It needs more competitor Analyis and more customizable tools and features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One problem we solved was not being able to post to social media all the time. Now with sprout social it is automated so we don’t have to do it ourselves at that time we can just publish to to go out whenever we want.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think this is a great platform for the price. It offers a lot of tools for you to monitor social media and to see insights. It’s a great starter tool.

What do you like best about the product?
I love this program because of the ease it gives me in having all social media platforms in one place. It is essential to take into account the opinions of people in real time about what I do in my work. In addition to this, I can monitor by searching for publications that contain specific words. It is really very practical and very easy to use. I love that I can measure my own data and analyze the social networks of almost all communication channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
Negative aspects actually have very few, however I must emphasize that their technical support is somewhat irritating since they have denied me my requests for no apparent reason. It should be noted that I prefer that Sprout Social use a heat map. That is to say with the purpose of being able to highlight the specifications of the social channels by columns. The program is somewhat expensive so for many it can be a bit difficult to acquire it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this program to measure the value of the follow-ups, publications, clicks and based on this data make the best decision and for the future of the company. It really does an excellent job, where the marketing department is aligned to content analysis on a frequent basis. It contains good features and employees feel comfortable with the program.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Totally recommended, it contains great functionalities to say that Sprout Social is a mechanism of influence in the industry, it really facilitates the work and that is why in the name of my work team I suggest it and I think it is very easy to use. It is suitable for marketing and content departments

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that Sprout Social can provide real time reporting and analysis of my social campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little glitchy if you have multiple accounts to monitor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were tasked with monitoring in real time what folks were saying online about my client while they were at a recent conference.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can schedule posts, and send potential posts to admins to approve.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it is great on the desktop version but is a lot to navigate on the mobile version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using sprout to schedule Instagram posts has helped us keep track of when we are posting, and helps admins to easily approve posts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We had a conference call with them before setting it up and found it helpful. I would suggest doing so beforehand and also contact them with any questions so you can get the most out of your subscription with sprout.

Simple-to-use social listening tool

What do you like best about the product?
Sproutsocial is a user-friendly tool for scheduling and responding to content across a variety or social channels and connecting many different accounts, should it be required. It is easy to schedule content, drag and drop and determine which pages you wish for the content to post from. It is also easy to read and respond to comments without having to switch between different social accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few challenges that I face when using this tool are: occasionally one of my accounts will disconnect from the tool, without any reason as to why. This has happened a number of times and requires logging directly into Facebook or another social channel to reconnect it. At this point, it would be quicker to post directly from that platform. Secondly, it is challenging to locate a comment or a post once you have marked it as "complete". There is no easy way to search between your different pages that are connected to the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing over 100 social accounts in one place, easily scheduling and keeping track of content, responding to customer feedback via this one tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sprout Social is a solid tool for managing many social media accounts in one place. It allows for full social listening capabilities, along with scheduling content and managing responses. There are a few challenges with connectivity across the platforms that I have encountered, but I would definitely recommend this product to assist in keeping all social listening in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
Since using sprout I have been much more efficient with the time I spend on managing our accounts. I don't think there is a ton of functionality that you can't get from each social channel by default (ie scheduling posts, saving drafts) but the ability to manage it all in one dashboard is a big win.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there is most likely some functionality that I am missing out on. I would have benefited from a more thorough onboarding process of some kind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling posts. Managing sentiment across channels. Increasing engagement.

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to schedule posts in advance. There is no better feeling than scheduling content a month in advance and knowing it will be posted on the correct platforms. I also love how it streamlines the messages people send to my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a while, Sprout Social had issues with posts. I received multiple failed post notifications within several weeks. That was frustrating, but it seems as though they have remedied that problem. I wish the Instagram story schedule feature actually scheduled the stories. Currently, it just sends a notification when it is time to post instead of actually posting it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I mentioned before, there was an issue with failed posts, but it has been remedied.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how you are able to bulk schedule while publishing. Responding to messages for social media platforms is easy to use, nothing too crazy about the process, it is very straight forward. The messages lets you see past messages you have responded to and delete messages straight from Sprout, so there is no need to toggle back and forth between platforms. I also love the new reviews feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that I have to upload each photo for publishing, making for a longer process. I also do not like price too much, I feel it is too expensive for the small number of users that are able to use the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to solve the problem of bulk scheduling. This was not available in the past, and now it is which makes my job ten times easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great tool for any digital marketing needs. You have all your social profiles in one place, can easily perform community management, publish content, and a wide variety of analytics for reporting.
