  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's a simple platform to grasp but it has a lot of power in the social media sphere. Really like the instagram integration for scheduling out posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I boost posts on Facebook I still prefer to go directly through their platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout helps us continue work on our editorial calendar and helps us look forward.

Makes the day to day more efficient

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to add multiple accounts under a group is really helpful to see all the data in one dashboard, Reports are easy to generate and compare against different timelines. The platform itself has a lot of capabilities, from publishing content to social listening.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was glitchy at times, especially if the social channels were going through an update themselves. Adding pictures and the other metadata involved to posts didn't work at times when double checking in the actual social channel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It freed up about of time monitoring owned pages as well as competitors pages. Being able to schedule posts as far in advance as you want is really nice if you know your workload is going to be heavy in the future or OOO scheduled.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's very useful if you have multiple clients with multiple social accounts to keep everything organized and the analytics clear and concise.

It is great but not the best

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of scheduling is nice and the options to connect multiple accounts is also nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
The bulk upload feature needs a lot of work. It is not easy and I have had many problems with content not uploading properly due to file formatting issues that seem to be caused through Sprout. Not to mention Sprout is detected in all social media platforms algorithm detectors, so using sprout penalizes content optimization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've realized the bet part about using Sprout is simply the scheduling and connecting multiple accounts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have more than five accounts to post to, it may be worth it. Any media outlets being managed by just one account, stick with manually uploading content.

Sprout Social Review

  • January 22, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout social makes it easy enough to schedule social media content and handle incoming inquiries. I like best that our team can use it for multiple purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout is often glitchy and slow, and doesn't always seem up-to-date with the most common CRM capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can easily reach our customers and potential customers who are talking to us on social media and respond in an efficient way.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a user-friendly option that covers most of what a CRM and social planning platform should offer. We've been pleased with the customer experience from a brand perspective and would recommending the platform.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and I love the previews it shows! I also like the recommended best times to post
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes posts fail and I don't get notified, also posting video to instagram from sprout rarely works
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes scheduling social media a breeze! The weekly analytics help me track how effective our social media strategy is. Helps me manage our various accounts easily!

A Lifesaver for Social Media Managers

  • January 12, 2019

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout has a very intuitive interface and easy-to-understand reporting tools that can be quickly understood even by those with limited experience in social media analytics. The ability to easily toggle between different accounts is convenient, and the statistics on competitor pages is an incredible asset when evaluating the heath and success of your own pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
As Facebook and Instagram tighten their regulations on third-party applications, Sprout has lost some of its capabilities of interacting with other users' posts within the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout is hands-down the best tool for social media monitoring and has increased our team's overall efficiency and quality of social media interaction.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sprout Social is an excellent investment and very cost-effective for smaller brands at less than $100/month. Be mindful that social monitoring may involve some lag from time of post to the time it shows up in your Sprout Social feed.

Great experience

What do you like best about the product?
Really easy to use and has been helpful for keeping up with all of our organization's channels. The calendar feature and listening have been really useful for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish under my package the publishing mode would save my most used emojis. It would also be great if it was easier to search my organization's content. The search bar goes through everything on social media, but sometimes I just want to find a post we made a month or so back and I have to scroll through everything or try to search for it directly on the platform (i.e. Twitter). I've had a few issues with Instagram alerts disappearing once I clicked the notification on my phone, and I had to go back and recreate them, which was frustrating.

I also wish you were able to tag people in photos for Twitter, which I think is an issue on Twitter's end but it'd be really helpful for us because those posts get really strong engagement for us but I currently always have to do them through Twitter directly.

I also often have glitches when tagging accounts in Facebook.

For campaign reporting, it's frustrating that Instagram and Facebook only pull in info from your own account and not all those using your campaign hashtags and phrases
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're creating more engaging content and able to see what times of day are most effective for our users, which has been really helpful for picking the right times to share our content.

Gets the job done, but needs some work

What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling is easy for the most part. I wish there was a more efficient way to schedule posts at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Instagram posts have to be manually uploaded if they don’t fit certain requirements. It kind of defeats the purpose of automatic posting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None.

Excellent all in one social media management tool

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The additional resources and support. In addition to being able to use the platform, we have attended conferences and online webinars that have given us some additional insights to the business. We have been able to turn those insights into actionable business solultions for our partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some social media platforms disconnect at time, but Sprout is very good about communicating these outtages. Unfortunetly, the mobile app does not include analytics. Hopefully, they will add this in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rather than scheduling a social media campaign across each platform, Sprout allows us to create, manage, and measure social media campaigns for multiple clients. It has been an immeasurable asset to our agency regarding the amount of time it has saved our team. Additionally, the transparency we can now provide to clients regarding their social activity has increased their trust in our value as their agency.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Not only are they a top tier product in the social media management SaaS world, but these are also people that know social. They have the resources and insights to make social profitable for your business.
