Great for managing lots of social accounts
What do you like best about the product?
The program is very slick and intuitive. Also, the customer service is always available through chat.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's pretty spendy to add more seats into your plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can now easily monitor trends across all social platforms.
Great social scheduling service
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sprout Social makes social media management, advocacy and analytics software for businesses easy. Sprout helps us communicate with customers on social channels, collaborate across teams and measure the effectiveness of their efforts on all social channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am disappointed with Sprout Social’s lack of integration. Sprout Social only supports Twitter, Facebook (profiles & pages), Google+ pages, Instagram & LinkedIn (profiles & pages). I also don't like the lack of ability of displaying streams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social solves the following problems: Has an in built Customer Relationship Management system (CRM)
Monitoring (although not quite as comprehensive as Mention or the likes of Brandwatch)
Support for teams (drafts, calendar, tasks etc)
Support for multiple profiles, departments, and companies
Security and ability to set specific permission levels and roles
Analytics & Reports
Helpdesk facility (on Premium and above plans) to use social media for customer support
Mobile apps for iPhone, iPad and Android
Integrates with Feedly (for your RSS feeds)

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sprout Social will be the right tool for some businesses, and perhaps even you. The entry price (now the Deluxe plan) is $59/user/month, and that is going to be quite a leap for individuals and small businesses.
Very Useful and User-Friendly Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the Sprout Dashboard, on which I can find notifications from every platform, whether people tag us or simply mention one of our keywords.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that more features were included with the basic subscription that we have, since we're a small nonprofit with a limited budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social helps me to keep track of all the activity going on with our social media across our various social platforms. It also helps with analytics and scheduling of social content. It helps greatly with organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Seriously consider using this product! Even without a large budget, it's very useful. It's great for organization, monitoring, management, content scheduling, and analytics.
Easy Management of Social
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to manage all accounts from the same platform. It simplifies my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't give me all the analytics data I would like to see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've seen the productivity of my time increase with the simplicity of Sprout Social.
Great Social Media Management
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is a great tool to use for social media management and social listening. My favorite part about Sprout Social is the combined social messaging inbox. This inbox allows me to easily see all of the incoming engagement from multiple social media sources and respond to each one from a centralized location. The centralized messaging inbox also allows me to better keep track of messages that still need response. If something happens over the weekend that I don't respond to, it is easy to pick back up where I left off on Monday without missing any messages.
What do you dislike about the product?
The functionality of the mobile site on Android is awful. I've used it on iOS and it is much better on iOS. On Android devices, my centralized inbox settings keep resetting to a random default setting so I am constantly having to change the settings so that I can see the messages I need to see. It's not a deal breaker but it sure is inconvenient. Additionally, the ability to send images in response to people is also pretty limited within the Sprout Social platform. If I need to send an image to a private Facebook message, I can't do it through Sprout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social makes it easy to keep up with responding to customer complaints. It also centralizes my job and makes my day to day tasks much quicker and easier to accomplish.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It really is a great tool for social media management, if you can afford the cost.
Love This Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The amount of analytics and communications tools provided by Sprout is far above any other platform I have used in the past. Even with the limited amount of information that Instagram provides, Sprout optimizes all of the data to show you what you really need to know.
What do you dislike about the product?
It definitely comes at a higher price point than other platforms, which makes it a stretch for smaller businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to really keep up with customer conversations and content coming from influencers is something this platform has provided us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Implement Pinterest.
Good for analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the easy accessible charts and analytic descriptions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no true direct posting to IG. Just a reminder that is sent via alert push to tell you to manually post in IG yourself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a good programming platform that has an image calendar view. So it saves us time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes however it does not support direct posting to IG.
Helpful tool to manage social media accounts
What do you like best about the product?
All your social media accounts and posts can be drafted, scheduled and reviewed within the same platform
What do you dislike about the product?
The calendar view isn't as user friendly as I would like. Would like to see a layout of everything I have scheduled, but instead you can just see that posts are scheduled and need to click through to drill down into what each post is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout makes prescheduling social posts possible on all platforms. We've been able to get ahead of our marketing campaigns and map out longer term campaigns with this feature.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool to have to pre schedule content across social platforms
Intuitive, easy to use, saves HOURS each week for social media marketers
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that my different accounts are separated by pages, yet they're all accessible on one dashboard/platform. Way easier to use that Facebook's Business Manager, where you have to switch from one account to another. By accessing everything from a single dashboard, I save a ton of time each week in replying to customer messages, reviewing notifications, etc. Not to mention, I miss far less notifications (compared to Facebook, where my notifications are separated by different management accounts).
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had a more flexible pricing structure for small businesses/marketing firms. If you want to add more than one user, it becomes quite expensive. In addition, while the software as a whole is super intuitive, adding/deleting a profile surprisingly isn't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Their reporting feature has made it WAY easier for me to provide my clients with their page analytics. All of my clients are small business owners, and many are unfamiliar with social media. To be able to show them a simple report with basic statistics and graphics, has saved me hours each month on attempting to compile my own reports from Facebook. It helps my client retention, and makes my business as a whole look more professional & efficient.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Intuitive, simple, and efficient. I'd recommend Sprout Social to both small and large businesses - marketing firms in particular. This software has allowed me to more efficiently manage my current customers, and frees up a significant amount of time, allowing me to sign up even more clients.
Easy to use on computer and mobile device! Keeps your social schedule organized!
What do you like best about the product?
Seeing the metrics from how posts performed each month compared to the last.
What do you dislike about the product?
That posting to Instagram is still a manual thing. Haven’t found a software yet that will post automatically to Instagram.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using sprout social is helping us to manage our social media and determine ways to grow our following.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Combines posting to more platforms than other software, includes google plus and linked in
