Using Sprout

  • July 13, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I mostly like that I can see the analytics of our users as well as how our social media is performing over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there is not very much that I find dislikeable with Sprout. That's a good thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We felt we needed to enhance our social media presence even more, and we knew we needed to track what was working and what was not, in terms of popular content and posting during ideal times of day. Sprout helped us with that.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sprout Social

  • July 11, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the mobile app is easy to publish posts to all of my social media accounts from one single spot.
What do you dislike about the product?
When scheduling an Instagram post through Meltwater Engage, a notification gets sent to my mobile device to publish through Sprout Social. I dislike that through this method, I cannot publish videos on Instagram.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing multiple social media accounts in one spot.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Test it out when shopping for a new monitoring platform. While we got into the Meltwater platform on desktop, we never had a trial period for the Sprout Social mobile app. Although it worked out, it would have been nice to have a trial of the mobile experience beforehand.

Good tool for community management

  • July 10, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to draft posts separately and have another user approve and schedule. Able to use for multiple social channels and have multiple accounts setup (e.g., two separate Twitter accounts)
What do you dislike about the product?
Not able to schedule videos across all platforms. Could be easier to search and manage an account as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Sprout Social to manage our own social media channels, which is helping us spread our thought leadership and drive traffic to our company website
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very easy to use during events for conducting live engagement/management, but also very effective for every day social media management

Sprout Social - Review

  • July 06, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout is very easy to use, aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate between different features. Their scheduling tool is a god send and love working with their team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The queue and the scheduling features have also confused me. I understand the difference now, but do not really see the point of the queue. Also, I believe most of the time their reporting is incorrect. Getting that accurate would be a huge help for analysis of campaigns, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Sprout to get engagement from our community, as well as get the word out about different things ITA is doing and what our member companies are doing.

Sprout Social is the best platform I've used thus far to provide analytic reports to my clients, especially competitor data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The layout is a little busy and hard to navigate at first.

I'm using analytics to to enhance social media strategies.

A service focused on service

  • June 28, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate UI, functional modules, robust reporting and amazing customer service
What do you dislike about the product?
Steep learning curve (for me, anyways) when it came to keyword filters. Would like to see better competitive listening tools implemented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do most of our monitoring and nearly all of our customer service and other engagement through SproutSocial. We handle scheduling and posting all of our social content through this tool as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It can be a great tool, especially for social media teams who will all be working from the same platform. Single stream monitoring makes competitive or subject matter monitoring of social media nearly impossible.

What do you like best about the product?
I loved how it was convenient to access all clients accounts at once with the click of a button.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like that you are unable to post more than one image when posting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly saving time and energy and being able to preschedule everything.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very easy to use. Will save you a lot of time

Great social media tool

  • June 27, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that sprout social is fast, responsive, and allows you to post across several platforms. The queue is clean and easy to see what post you have posted next. I also love the dashboard and that it shows your audience demographics, recent followers, average response rate, and impressions. It's more than just social media posting management, it's also great for measurement and analytics. It's well organized and easy to teach to newbies.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't connect Instagram or Pinterest, which is sad because of the popularity of these two platforms. Although it's easy to use, I feel Hootsuite may be easier. I also wish there was a preview function to preview posts before you schedule.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes social publishing easy. You can plan your posts for the week and see them all visually in one queue. You can assign more than one administrator to an account so everyone can have their own accounts. It also gives a good overview for new followers and impressions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try other social media management platforms when you're looking for one to use. Sprout Social is great and user-friendly but may not have all the functionality everyone wants. IT also may be more a bit expensive compared to other social media management sites. You should have no problem learning how to use it though.

Great for Community Management

  • June 27, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The smart inbox makes responding to comments and messages for multiple pages a breeze. I love that I can go through and just hit the "c" button to mark things that don't need a response as complete.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an "undo" button - sometimes I'm going through and accidentally hit "c" when I didn't mean to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes community management easy with an all-in-one hub.
