Excellent Social Media Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The drafts feature is great for composing posts ahead of time. Easy layout and easy to navigate interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't synch with my outlook calendar. Can't tag in LinkedIn

Great to keep an eye on social feeds and conversation. Let's me build engagement with my fan and followers.

Ease of use, great visuals, helps consolidate all of the management of social media

Sprout Social
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is very easy to connect with your social accounts and also maintains itself easily. It also has a very eye catching design, and the customer service is unparalleled. I primarily use it to track my company's engagement, along with very basic social media analytics (followers, views, likes/retweets). I like to use it to pull quarterly reports to see areas of success and improvement. I like the ability to see what our competitors on Twitter are up to as well. Plus, it's very reasonable ($20/mo for my subscription).
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I dislike about Sprout Social! Sometimes navigating the back end can get a little tricky but again, I primarily use the Reports feature so I can't speak much to the Publishing side of things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to identify our areas of success - which posts are most popular? Which receive the most engagement? Having all of that information is one place is a great resource, especially when marketing meetings roll around.
Great platform for social media scheduling & reporting
What do you like best about the product?
We are able to schedule content for our clients to easily review prior to posting & it creates reports for all of our platforms in a matter of minutes so that we know what is working & what is not improving engagement.
What do you dislike about the product?
That not all metrics are available when you put the reports into PDF.
I also don't like how if you have had a platform connected to Sprout for less than a few months, Sprout is not able to produce a complete analytics report.

It allows us to work more efficiently with our clients & with our clients' legal teams, who have to review content before it is posted.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Talk to the sales rep often & take full advantage of the free trial before purchasing. While doing both, be sure to talk with your sales rep about what is & is not included in each payment level before purchasing.
Great Reporting, Even After Customer Period
What do you like best about the product?
I LOVED the reports in this product. They really allowed me to dive deeply into what was working and not working on our social media posts, and target the things that worked
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a bit expensive for the amount of use I really was able to get out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have accounts in several different social media spheres. It's hard to know what posts are doing well, and what posts are attracting your audience to do what you're looking for. Sprout allowed me to see what was going on in a visual dashboard, and to do so in a fashion that was easy to understand even if I wasn't a social media expert.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd say take the risk -- it's a little more pricey than Hootsuite or others, but it's well worth it!

What do you like best about the product?
I typically use it to schedule Twitter posts and love it for this feature. We often partake in twitterstorms so this allows me to schedule ahead of time instead of spending an entire couple of hours tweeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not that I don't like it but I don't find the Facebook features to me necessary because I can schedule and analyze my Facebook posts on Facebook itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Definitely saves time for multiple employees. It allows us to get more done!
If you can afford it, it's worth the insight
What do you like best about the product?
We put a little extra budget towards sprout social and can do a lot more with posting on social media. It has a slick interface and saves a lot of time when planning posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of last I checked it didnt have all the tools with Instagram, but that might be changing soon. There wasn't much we dislike about the program but definitely the cost does come into play when deciding to use the software.

We can find influential users and target them as well as get better audience analytics.

Again if you have the money for it it's worth the price for the analytics and time it saves.

Sprout Social creates easy to read and visually appealing analytics reports that can be easily exported for clients.

The instagram post scheduling function is very complicated and difficult to use.

creating nice looking social media reports for multiple clients efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it's very easy to schedule posts and the metrics reports are great. I found the glossary next to the metrics to be extremely helpful and it was good to see when I was posting was the best time/which audience I was reaching the most. I also appreciate the comparison feature to see how ours matches up to our competitors' social media profiles
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish it was easier to follow other people on Twitter using this platform (found it a bit harder to do so). Also, I wish there was an online training video or something to better describe the metrics and how you are calculating those. I had to call customer service and get it cleared up but wish there was something outside the glossary for the more complex terms
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to quantify our social media efforts as well as see how we match up against our competitors which is fantastic in showing the value-add to our investors
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would be sure to talk to a customer service person, especially if you want to utilize the metrics functions. I would also sit in during their informational webinars, but wish the content was available on-demand in case I need to reference later or skip forward to find something.

I love that I can schedule posts on multiple social media accounts and reschedule posts I've previously sent

I hate that if I accidentally click outside of the posting box, I lose the post I was working on!
