Helpful for Publishing Posts and Community Management

What do you like best about the product?
I use Sprout most often for monitoring brand interactions and publishing & scheduling content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting is not as robust as I would like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monitoring for social listening, scheduling content, responding to customers. Sprout allows me to be aware of what people are saying about my brand and gives me the tools to respond quickly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The publishing feature and the smart inbox are unparalleled to others I've seen in the industry.

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout is great at scheduling social media posts which I create and customize for many clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. I wish there were a way to create the same posting and then change on each platform individually... for example, I might have the same post for FB, LI and Twitter but it might be too long for twitter so I would have to go back and create an entirely new post for Twitter and upload and find the same image twice.

2. I really wish there was a better approval process without having to add new users. Right now, I have to create the posts in Google Slides, share them with my clients, have them change whatever they need to on there and then e-mail me back for approval and then I go in and schedule them out in Sprout. Clients just want to see how you're representing them, see the images and then move right along. I wish there was a few steps in my process that I could skip with Sprout.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm helping clients with time management, the benefits of Sprout is that they have access to a lot of platforms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sprout is a good program if you are utilizing it correctly and have enough clients to implement it. Although it's pricey, it's much easier than HootSuite and has a much better interface.

When you have an issue, Sprout answers very quickly via Twitter

A little difficult to search for accounts you don't follow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to analyze accounts for my clients as well as schedule their posts.

What do you like best about the product?
The scheduling and queue tools are amazing to help you get certain posts out when you need to!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not able to post the same tweet daily within a 24 hour period.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is helping with social marketing automation for our various clients as well as a way to provide them with reports and understanding of where they stand.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is great for multiple accounts, competitor comparisons, and reports.

Fantastic for SMBs & Agencies

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout's Smart Inbox makes managing multiple channels in one "stream" extremely simple. For anyone managing the "key" social channels out there (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), it's perfect. Additionally, their mobile app is fantastic. Since social media management is such a 24/7 job, being able to do virtually everything you can do in the web app while on the go is huge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting looks great aesthetically, but it is fairly surface level. We have to utilize another tool to provide more in-depth analytics to our larger clientele. Social listening reporting for Twitter is also bundled with the more expensive Team plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're an agency, so for us efficiency is everything. Sprout's scheduling features are really solid and their interface is as intuitive as it gets. The mobile app makes social media management extremely easy, particularly when on the go. And, while reporting isn't extremely in-depth, it's professional and offers enough actionable insight to be valuable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a clean, easy to use, interface and a tool that works well with the major social networks, Sprout should be a consideration. Reporting is a weak point in my opinion, but to improve upon it, you're either spending an inordinate amount of time manually creating reports in Excel or you're spending an addition couple hundred dollars a month on another solution.

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout has a great system to make sure you don't miss a beat on the several social media channels social media managers are responsible for overseeing.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is extremely expensive. Working in the public sector we have a huge responsibility to be interactive with public inquiries, which is why we love sprout, but our budget is so minimal, it is hard for us to keep this program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This allows a team workflow process in handling all requests and inquiries across multiple social media channels. Allows for scheduling of marketing materials in an organized manner.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great program for other who are looking for an easier way to manage a wide array of accounts. It is much easier to navigate everything in one place rather than go to each platform natively.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using sprout social for a few months now and I am very impressed. The platform produces excellent reports and the customer service is very responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to better post through Instagram, currently, it is not easy to post through Sprout. Adding multiple photos on Facebook is not possible, and it is not possible to tag on LinkedIn. All of these issues cause me to go to each social account and publish manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to create full reports of social performance which benefits our team.

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the calendar like features. Being able to see everything in that format makes it simple and ready to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's kind of pricey. Especially if you want to add another person.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to post everything at once and schedule it is a time saver. Also - the reporting is great. Super accurate and I don't have to go to each platform to get it.

Make sure you do your research and use all of the features.
