Effective Tool for Social Media Management

  • October 24, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social offers some excellent reporting tools, presented via some nicely designed visuals, that make reporting to various department managers a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app suffers from lack of reliable push notifications for anything other than Twitter profiles. You have to regularly check and refresh for any new comments on other platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social allows us to manage 30+ social media profiles across our group, all in a single thread. We can publish to multiple channels at once (even adding to a clever automated queue) and give our department managers professionally designed reports to help measure our activity.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take advantage of their free trial period and be sure to spend some time in their reporting system.

Makes my job way easier - everything is in one place!

  • October 06, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Sprout Social is how easy it is to navigate. It's very user-friendly. My favorite feature is the ability to assign tasks and then get notifications when it's been completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I disliked was just recently changed - they now are up to date with Twitter's recent changes - images no longer count in the character count. When Sprout updated, it was a big game changer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a big time saver. Instead of having to go back and forth between multiple social media channels, everything is right in front of me. Scheduling posts ahead of time (even months ahead of time) makes it so much easier to finish a task completely and move on to the next.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The messages and tasks features are great. Take advantage of them.

Excellent tool for managing social media

  • September 14, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The reporting tool has been absolutely fantastic for us. The simple graphs make it easy to show our clients tangible results, but are also deep enough that I never feel like I'm lacking information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm crossing my fingers for Pinterest integration in the coming future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall, Sprout lets me spend less time on social. Scheduling is quick and easy and the reports write themselves. Before using Sprout, I used another social media scheduling tool and spent easily 2-3 hours per client just scheduling, with 1-2 hours assembling reports myself. With Sprout, I spend 1 hour per client scheduling and pulling reports.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The interface is very user-friendly, and I feel comfortable adding clients as users so they can use the reporting and scheduling tools themselves.

Social Media Manager/Social Content Manager

  • August 03, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, nice interface. Love that you can schedule for your accounts in the site - makes it easy. Also nice that multiple brands are in one singular location. Great that multiple users can see what others have scheduled, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love Instagram analytics :) Would be interested in more detail - we do use multiple different programs to get us the metrics we need and to compare/contrast.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're managing social for multiple brands - Sprout makes it easy for everything to be in once place!

Seamless & Easy to Use Social Media Management Tool

  • July 29, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, scheduling posts is efficient, lots of drag-and-drop usability, and a great mobile app. I schedule through my phone sometimes as well. The app is also quick and you can see what content you have schedule and in queue. It's also great for reputation management - keeping track of online reviews and responding to them efficiently and quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout Social won't let you add multiple images to a post for Facebook and Google+, which is extremely inconvenient. Some of their reporting tools aren't as usable or great and they don't have a nice sharing option if multiple people need to use the account. Sprout Social works on a one-user per login basis, which can be pretty inconvenient at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling content for 35 Hilton hotels across multiple markets in the US, keeping track of online complaints / Facebook reviews, responding to people online in a timely manner and the reporting tools to see how social is doing across all hotels overall - particularly online engagement.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great tool to use for companies with a lot of social pages to oversee. Their reporting options are also extensive, which is nice.

    Non-Profit Organization Management

Use it mostly for social listening at this point.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Best interface of anything on the market in my opinion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricey and unable to connect too many accounts without the price going sky high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Used to use it to connect <10 accounts, but now work for a nationwide organization that has almost 400 channels so Sprout isn't that useful anymore. Keep it around for social listening. Was really useful in crisis communication to listen closely to our brand and key words.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you only have a handful of channels to manage, Sprout has my vote. It's just a little pricey.

sprout makes social media easy

  • July 12, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part about this platform is the usability. It was easy for me to immediately figure out how to connect my different social media channels and start scheduling posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting can be a little bit wonky at times, I would definitely double check it with the actual social media insights just in case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to schedule posts once a week instead of every day has cut out so much wasted time.

Using this tool for past 2 years.

  • June 30, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using this app for past 2 years for my brand managing multiple channels. I like the publishing module and how easy it is for me to answer all online comments from different channels into one single dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting part has to be more in depth and detailed but still it provides a good overview.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Answering online queries from different platforms into one single dashboard and also publishing content into multiple channels.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you manage multiple facebook pages or Twitter accounts then this tool is a must have. It has the great publishing tool that allows you to post on multiple platforms with scheduling capabilities. Also the other feature i like is the messages part. I can see all comments, tweets and complains from Twitter, facebook or Instagram within a single dashboard and assign them to relevant person.

Best SMM platform for SMEs

  • June 29, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The UI is one of the best in the industry, and that includes the larger enterprise platforms. Simply put, it's the best interface for the daily tasks of social media management, from listening, to posting, to responding and engaging, as well as content curation.

From a functionality perspective, they've got most of the features you would want from a SMM platform. Great feed integration, easy to manage multiple accounts from a single hub, great listening tool to stay on top of what is happening.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functionality can be a bit buggy, for example the feeds function. Also from time to time have had issues with being randomly logged out in the middle of composing a message.

The reporting could be dramatically improved. It's more focused around looking good than it is flexible and effective. Hard to really use their reports from an analytics (gleaning insight) perspective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media management - listening, posting, engaging, content curation. We love the tool - it's helped us go further, faster in social media, which for us has made social our fastest growing channel in terms of new business and campaign influence.
